In 2018 I started a multi-year journey into learning Adobe After Effects, animation, VFX design, 100s of plugins that came alongside it just to create simple 2D animations, in hopes of making my own fantasy short film. I would have had to hire 3D modellers, background artists, character designers, texture painters. Now I can skip all of that and rig up realistic models and all I require is motion capture hardware and a custom model and I am good to go? This is an insane technology leap. I could create a randomly generated landscape with custom models in Unreal Engine 5.3, blend beautiful lighting, import premade animations all with a few touches of a buttons. Things that would have taken me years to learn, incorporate and fix. I am glad I postponed my project then as I theorized the technology would make my life easier in a few years and it did.
Thank you so much ! This was an internal test we did to see how far we could push Metahuman's rig and deformation system. We believe we can do even more and are already working on it. This is just the first step ;)
Even tho dmmo full dive is some years away, but could this tech on ue5.5 games be a thing?I love to see this on borderlands games, cyberpunk 2077 2,dead space games, gears of war games,Prince of Persia games,Spider-Man games, jrpg pg, action shooter\looter games ect??!
Also did ya know there was a kickstarter campaign, called zero codings?if just got fully funded awhile ago an only if ya applied ya only had to be on the higher tier awards an not have to pay at all,an ya can created own app live services an create games with gpt5 ect,ya can still apply but it would cost ya a little bit to start the application app services ect
0:19 Those dots for the rig. Reminds me of a class in Blender we had about putting characters in real world video clips. You pick color points for it to focus on as the ground and walls. Preferably such that stay in the shot the whole time. Feels like the rig system would be the same here, except in real time. Selecting a couple of points that remembers the color and pattern on your face. Then using the other dots for the most consistent repeat of the original, in order to follow the face. Such as the red color of your lips at the right corner. Then it follows that color along with a bounding box to compare the surroundings to make sure it's smooth and correct. Wish I remember the name of that technique. It was really cool.

Cheers
Also, we did render those shots with a quadro rtx 4000 with 8gb vram. It’s too limited to have more hairs, thats the reason why we made them thicker ;)
@@francoist2142 wonderful work.. now I am curious, in which model program did you create the hair splines ?
@@lukarisisgaming For Snow and Chase the grooming was done in Houdini.
The power of Rocket Raccoon-level CG... in the palm of my hand
Late to the party but very excited with these results - good job to everyone involved! Can't wait to watch and learn what's next.
what more can one say other than WOW!
Pretty great editing of the tracking points, but even stellar design of those characters!
Tracking points?
this guy has no idea what hes talking about
@@swinny_Something tells me you don't either
This is honestly so impressive, *wow*
Can't wait to see what comes out of this in the future
😮 woou! Thanks for this stuff 🙏🏻 you absolutely brilliant! What tool do you use?) (I am a student, wanna to learn it)
yep! me toooooo!!!!)))
as a furry... mad respect for creating an amazing anthro character.
ok... i have no idea if ur trolling or not, but how the hell u got that fur to look like that in UE5!!????
i need a tutorial like... yesterday!! pls, there are 0 resources on this. The movement is so smoooooooth. Super congrats :)))))
dude... where the link or the hood!!? :((((
this is too good
Not fake. We made our custom hair shader, but the metahuman’s shader looks good too
This is insane. I can’t wait to see what people come up with and use this for.
nah that's not MetaHuman that's MetaFurry
props though!
The facial animation is amazing !!
Animated that tongue and you'll supercede them.
Bruh
The application of these in fantasy settings can be so surreal!
Better than AI
Wow these Starfox graphics look great
bro furries are gonna love this
Yes.
This is awesome 🎉
would 100% watch a show with these characters
This is so cool. Custom fox characters? Or are they available somewhere
thanks ! Custom fox ;)
This is awesome! I can't wait to see what comes of this
Next Gen Furry update just dropped.
This makes me more excited for the next stage of new game graphic designs, as someone who is about to do games development in college
Wow...this must have so many more views. Amazing. Is this a service or available for download or to learn anywhere?
Thank you so much ! This was an internal test we did to see how far we could push Metahuman's rig and deformation system. We believe we can do even more and are already working on it. This is just the first step ;)
Even tho dmmo full dive is some years away, but could this tech on ue5.5 games be a thing?I love to see this on borderlands games, cyberpunk 2077 2,dead space games, gears of war games,Prince of Persia games,Spider-Man games, jrpg
pg, action shooter\looter games ect??!
@@megagreatgodlywhiteshark2929 I am not a games guy, so my curiosity was for using this in film making.
Dunno where this is gonna end, but either way thank you for doing it :p
I love anthro characters so anything involving them makes me happy
Furries: "Allow us to introduce ourselves"
Reminds me of Star Fox adventures. Fur texture was amazing, despite being on GameCube.
Nice 🎉
As a beginner Unreal dev, I would love some more behind the scenes insight into how you made this happen with Metahumans
They summoned the furries 😂😂
Your job with this was just stunning!!
furrys are gonna go wild with this one
Not just furries. Alot of nerds are excited about this.
@@Sairyswolf I'm both 😼
0:19 Those dots for the rig.
It was really cool.

ahahah ! :D probably not with that level of quality though ;). But original MetaHuman have different level of detail so it could be possible.
