I'm from West Virginia, and there are rumors in my area that Liberty Falls is based in Harper's Ferry, WV. That's only like 20 mins from where I live, and it's pretty cool if thats true.

I don't think it's been officially confirmed by activision but a few RUclips videos "proved" the similarities of the map and the real town. You can be proud and excited to be from the area 😊
Richtofen DOES still have the eyebrow scar in the file photo, the image compared to the Cold War cutscene is flipped for some reason so it’s on his right eyebrow just by Ava’s hair. You can tell the image is flipped by looking at which way his hair is parted.

The blueprint next to the wunderwaffe blueprint possibly looks like the pylons maxis and Richthofen were using to enhance their control of the aether in BO2.
If it is ShadowMan, this would be a good opportunity to bring back Monty as well. We never had a proper closure between them, we don’t know what they’ve been doing in the dark Aether all this time, and there are some story elements between Monty and ShadowMan that were not fully explained either. I hope treyarch takes this opportunity to finish their story

If the Shadowman can come back, it just begs my question of why can’t they bring back Ultims and/or Premise. They Chaos, Victus is trapped still so I don’t see it as unlikely. On one hand, I respect them for letting them rest but on the other if you’re willing to bring back The Shadowman…i don’t see why you wouldn’t want to bring them back.
Because the shadowman is powerful enough to live in the dark eather and the crew are good at survival but the eather will corrupt their bodys and they wont survive for that long.
Just a random wild thought, what if, they brought the zombies storyline full circle, so they have another opportunity to break the cycle, and give the aether storyline an actual satisfying ending.
This new map seems to be somehow connected to Buried from BO2, where they never mention what happens after Richtofen ending. According to Timeline poster, the entire Aether storyline in BO3, BO4 and comic book is canon only due to Maxis ending. Dark Aether story can be perfectly connected to original Aether story by using this huge plot hole, which, I assume, they decided to left unexplained on purpose back then.

This new map seems to be somehow connected to Buried from BO2, where they never mention what happens after Richtofen ending. According to Timeline poster, the entire Aether storyline in BO3, BO4 and comic book is canon only due to Maxis ending. Dark Aether story can be perfectly connected to original Aether story by using this huge plot hole, which, I assume, they decided to left unexplained on purpose back then.

I hope we get to see the victis come into the story at some point cause you know everything banished to the dark aether and yet in the literally dark aether story is what we are coming in and nothing of them or anything that was sucked into it from the aether has popped up yet
The hand and sleeve doesn’t match Samantha or Grey. I asked my brother and he said that because the hand is decayed, it might be someone we’ve met before. Someone who keeps cropping up throughout the original storyline. I’ll let you figure out who.

He was in the key in the original cycle but in the bo4 cycle gorod krovi and revelations didnt happen so he wasnt in the key
