I know I've said this before but Claire is really really good at explaining the complexity of food and taste. That's not an easy feat, being an awesome food critic takes a lot of hard work! Great job Claire, and awesome cooking as always Aaron!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
@@rightyourwrong question, what's with people like you? People who take the time to bash down someone being positive and kind? Like can you explain your need to write that? Just curious, thanks!
I just have a Korean BBQ in my apartment, I can so relate!! I spent many hours mopping the floors afterward. Backache & all parts of the body aching just because of the intense cleaning required.
10:34 Claire is so brutal when she scolded Aaron that he picked the fancy pork belly because of the video, lol! But love the honest feedback and the chemistry between you guys. Keep it up guys!!
Hey hey hey! 👍👍👍 ! Amazing instructions and recipes ! Seriously ! I made the exact same things for dinner - 1 hour 15 mins later ! Btw, viewers alert : Aaron’s ratio for the Ssamjang sauce is da bomb! 😁 adjust the chili flakes or use none ...I can just dip any veggies in it ! 😘. Oh... the Doenjang-jjigae was so perfect ! Rice water ? Must use ! Love it ! So so much better than miso soup! 😂 Thank you 🙏 chef and taster ! What a delightful team you both made ! God love you
I was in Korea for a little over a year and fell in love with it, especially the food. Came back to the states in August and this is what I miss the most, samgyeopsal is the best!
I'm drooling just eyeing the spread of food. Claire is so lucky to have such a good home chef. Like your wok pan and frying pan which look sturdy and have no rivets that tend to collect grime.
The way Aaron explained the procedures and the dos & donts of cooking are easy to understand. Hoping to watch more cooking videos from your channel. Cheers!
I've been binge watching your channel for a couple of days and must say I'm a fan. I just saw the one when you returned from the states and you guys bounced back wonderfully. Very good job. I might not comment very often but just know you are loved.
Yes! A recipe that uses soy bean paste (and lots of it). It was just sitting in the fridge and I was starting to get worried if I'll get through the whole tub before it goes off. There are perila leaves here but they are the red coloured variety and are very potent. I like putting half a leaf in my lettuce wrap instead of using the whole leaf so the meat flavour is not overpowered.

Korean BBQ look very delicious and how to make really very great.
Using my other halves tablet. I made this last night! We couldn't find perrilla leaf. Was a very good must say I am proud of my dinner! He said nope you are not fired! He did eat the leftover stew for breakfast and I am not fired! Thank you JoAnn Sigby

Thank you for making these videos! I have illnesses and it makes cooking difficult. I love Japanese and Korean food so much! Your recipes have made cooking easy and fun! You have helped me out so much! Thank you a million times! ❤️❤️❤️
We have a local family run Korean BBQ here and their ssamjang is my weakness. I have made almost every homemade recipe I have ever seen for ssamjang and have yet to really get that taste of theirs.. It's my ultimate goal in life to recreate it at home. I managed the salad dressing. Just need to master that ssamjang! Time to try yours now and see if it's any closer! I love Claire's restraint with the ssamjang... I put too much on my chadol every time...

I usually prefer bossam over bbq samgyupsal, but the way you make it looks sooo delicious 😋 Cooking it in oil on a pan makes it all golden and crispy. I think Claire will want you to always film bbq so she will get thick cut haha 😄
