I just have to say, I have met DB twice and even interviewed him once. He is such a lovely guy, very engaging, smart and funny. He speaks with such thoughtfulness and respect, there is something very humble about his curiosity and wit. When you speak to him, you feel like you’re chatting to a friend, but at the very same time, you understand the true meaning of star power - he just has it, he’s magnetic. Don’t have enough nice things to say about him in all honesty.

As a kid from the US David was my first introduction to soccer/football in England in the early 2000s. He was my favorite player for a few years, but as he moved on so did I. Hadn’t given him much thought in years until recently watching the Netflix documentary. I love him. He is just such a nice wholesome guy and he is so likeable.
His reaction to his first taste of the kimchi jigae is all you need to see to know how much he loves the food. And when he said he travels to eat? Made me an even bigger fan.

Yes I saw the video till the end. Maybe you need to understand the context of the msg displayed in the end. Let me break it down for you.... First off, I did not mean to disrespect any party involved in this episode. I was simply appreciating the hard work and business decisions that went into making this happen. As I have worked with international hotel brands and TV channels like Fox network. So I know a little bit about this. The msg at the end of the video states: "This episode wasn't sponsored but we like to say a special thanks....." If you read the entire msg they clearly thank the Macao government for helping with flying and logistics. But when the entire trip wasn't sponsored it means a huge chunk of their own wallet went into it. There are countless costs that come with this type of feat they pulled. Sourcing the best materials, flying chefs all the way to cook, chefs who were working with reputed hotels (hotels have strict policies nobody allows their chefs to take an off just to cook for a celebrity). Hotel and flight isnt the only thing on the organising team's list. When I said the relevant people dint recognize the opportunity I meant big brands like FnB, Retail, Electronics. Hope you get the flow. Anyways, this msg wasn't meant for everyone. It was simply an appreciation and admiration from one professional to another. I was smiling ear to ear throughout the entire video. Can't believe we get to see DB dine in again with Josh and with much of gusto as he always used to. Love to watch Josh tried to contain his excitement upon sitting together again with his longtime idol. David is a true gentleman and so humble despite his stardom. He was even hillariously throwing some shades. That "do you want some milk?" tho LOL.
Half way through the video, it doesn't feel like another meeting with a celebrity. It just looks like two old friends catching up, Beckham is more relaxed, he jokes and teases Josh alot😂 I can't help but laugh because it seems that Josh wasn't expecting it either! I love it!

What I love about Becks, is that he's not just saying he likes it. He's really tasting what he eats. @@FrostyDuc I keep thinking about that with this video, it is not that David cannot afford any of this, or make it happen if he wants to, the real key is he trusts Josh now to put Koreas best foot/ food forward and getting context and understanding traditions is not something you can just buy.

I just have to say, I have met DB twice and even interviewed him once. He is such a lovely guy, very engaging, smart and funny. He speaks with such thoughtfulness and respect, there is something very humble about his curiosity and wit. When you speak to him, you feel like you’re chatting to a friend, but at the very same time, you understand the true meaning of star power - he just has it, he’s magnetic. Don’t have enough nice things to say about him in all honesty.
David is ‘THE MAN’ 🤜🏽🤛🏽 such a cool dude! Loved how he actually makes an effort to pronounce Korean language correctly and he acknowledges and greets the chef . Very humble man.

As a kid from the US David was my first introduction to soccer/football in England in the early 2000s. He was my favorite player for a few years, but as he moved on so did I. Hadn’t given him much thought in years until recently watching the Netflix documentary. I love him. He is just such a nice wholesome guy and he is so likeable.
His reaction to his first taste of the kimchi jigae is all you need to see to know how much he loves the food. And when he said he travels to eat? Made me an even bigger fan.
I'm not much of David Beckham fans, but seeing this I might as well became his fans. We can tell he's much relaxed in this one and seeing him appreciates every kind of foods really change my perspective of him.

I like that David loves food and is passing that onto his kids by not forcing them to eat things, but getting them to try different foods. There was so much food I didn't like as a kid, but my parents always had us try things. So as a adult, I like trying new things, and I've found so many foods I used to dislike that I love now

Yes I saw the video till the end. Maybe you need to understand the context of the msg displayed in the end. Let me break it down for you....
First off, I did not mean to disrespect any party involved in this episode. I was simply appreciating the hard work and business decisions that went into making this happen. As I have worked with international hotel brands and TV channels like Fox network. So I know a little bit about this.
The msg at the end of the video states: "This episode wasn't sponsored but we like to say a special thanks....."
If you read the entire msg they clearly thank the Macao government for helping with flying and logistics. But when the entire trip wasn't sponsored it means a huge chunk of their own wallet went into it. There are countless costs that come with this type of feat they pulled. Sourcing the best materials, flying chefs all the way to cook, chefs who were working with reputed hotels (hotels have strict policies nobody allows their chefs to take an off just to cook for a celebrity). Hotel and flight isnt the only thing on the organising team's list.
When I said the relevant people dint recognize the opportunity I meant big brands like FnB, Retail, Electronics. Hope you get the flow.
Anyways, this msg wasn't meant for everyone. It was simply an appreciation and admiration from one professional to another.
