- This Kmart closed for good in April 2021. I filmed this Kmart back in June 2020 when it was open. I couldn’t film much because someone came out and told me I couldn’t film the place, so I was being respectful and left the area. At least I got some footage.

Thanks for the info, I forgot to add that in my description lol. So only Avenel and Westwood are the only ones open for now in NJ. Damn, that's crazy.

Kmart in Avenel section of Woodbridge township is the last Kmart store still open in the whole state of new jersey .it is almost empty the sale floor they mainly have tons and tons of clothing and grocery section fully stocked. the other parts of the store are closed off we felt like we were @ attending a sad sad final shopping trip mile stone for Kmart . before Wal mart and target and E bay and amazon and online shopping came along .
Kmart in Westwood, NJ is still open btw. And when I filmed the Avenel Kmart, there was still a lot of merchandise in the store, mainly clothes. It's a shame most of it won't be sold to customers
@@TimurD1905 we just checked and googled your correct we were told the Avenel store was the last 1 left in the whole state of new jersey . we were there in mid march are last visit with a friend that does not drive and needed a ride over to the home depot across the street so we both decided to go see what they had left and any good discounted sales . we both live in Woodbridge township and we visited the Kmart when it first opened and the former path mark supermarket and smaller Businesses opened when we were a lot lot younger with are parents and it was really thriving and very Successful to the Economy very very well back then the whole shopping center to .

I could have but they wouldn't buy into it, they would just say the same thing over and over again. Plus, there was a cop car on the other side if I went back and filmed the area. Glad you loved it!

@@TimurD1905 YOU KNOW WHAT, WHEN I WAS GROWING UP GOING TO THAT KMART, THEY USED TO HAVE DISNEY BABY AND DISNEY KIDS, I REALLY LOVED IT, IT CAME INTO DIFFERENT COLORS OF THE RAINBOW IN DISNEY FONT, FOR KIDS THE "D" WAS RED, THE "I' WAS ORANGE, THE "S" WAS YELLOW, THE "N" WAS GREEN, THE "E" WAS BLUE, AND THE "Y" WAS PURPLE

Exactly, I wasn't vandalizing or doing anything inappropriate. Some people just can't stay out of peoples business. But at least I got some footage when it was open last year in 2020.
nah lidl is a swiss market and i know that cause i swear on my moms life boi that i use to live in belleville but then moved to switzerland
Their headquarters is in Germany and they are a German discount retail chain, you’re close though hehe. But yeah, they do have Lidl stores in Switzerland too

I think the Avenel one is, I'm not sure about Westwood though
