Wow, we need more dinamic people like you, i was struggling to find a good vector tutor, even paid ones are hard to find with quality content, thanks man, you great.

Thanks for this tutorial. Btw for the dummy text I used the dummy-text funktion of Inkscape. Simply go to Extensions ->Text->Lorem Ipsum. If you are lazy or need a quick dummy text it's a neat little function
I really like these videos, very easy to follow along to and a very good explanation of what you are doing. Also you can pride yourself that I am using Inkscape a lot more now. :P
Kinda learned inkscape with Nick's shield logo tutorial. Now I've been using it awhile and coming back to watch this by chance, I realize my worflow (especially where circular graphics and repeated rotational geometry is concerned) is extremely similar. Guess that means i'm doing good?
Hi, Nick. Very interesting all your videos. You said you use Ubuntu as OS. I also use it. My problem is that I can't use the Alt key to select hiden objets. Could you please tell me how did you fix this issue. I've read that I have to reconfigure my WM (?) but I don't know how to do that. Thanks very much.
Yeah I had this problem too when I first used Ubuntu and had to Google it and figure out how to fix it. I don't remember what exactly I did, but it was a series of steps involving settings and whatnot. Sorry I couldn't help further than that. Good luck
Thanks anyway, Nick. I really appreciate your answer. I'll try to find the solution going further with Google. Ah, and keep with your videos. Needless to say that they are very helpfull.
Hey Nick! First of all you're awesome teaching and also for sharing all this beautiful work. I'm new with inkscape, also i am trying to start t shirt printing, and i don't have the funds to buy a design program, any way i want to ask you how can i separate the colors of this specific design for my transparency prints. Thanks a lot and i really appreciate your work and your kindness for shearing all this information...

Hey there! I've been enjoying your tutorials very much. I have completed this one except for adding the SVG social media icons. I'm not sure how to download the svg file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Nick, Thanks for the tutorials on Inkscape - great program but needs more up to date documentation/tutorials. I would be happier if you would use the current version of Inkscape - 0.91. There are fairly significant differences. (Yes, I read your blog post on this issue Thanks.
I would look into using Blender for that. I don't know much about Blender yet though. I just use it as a video editor. But 2 good channels I know of to learn Blender from are tutor4u and mikeycal meyers
Was Pokemon an influence for this design? Maybe without you knowing it was - I drew similarities anyway! Some good techniques in this video, thanks Nick!
Great as always! Nick, I can't seem to be able to use ctrl + space to duplicate the shape, so i have go ctrl+D. Do you know what's the problem? I'm using version .91 Thanks!!

Thank you sir! Is this program the best for infographics? What programs would you recommend paid/free?
I'd say Inkscape is sufficient for infographic design. Any vector graphics software should work. I've created many infographics in Inkscape.
Cheers!
I create very similar things in powerpoint, very nice.

And haha I heard the intro song on Chilled Cow
i though it was diffucult until i watched your video. :)
I think you still need to nail the music down... At least you didn't go with a generic hipster indie guitar.
Agreed. Finding decent copyright-free music is a job in and of itself though. I'll have to dedicate some time to finding some quality music.
Nick , I have tried to do the circle shape and I cannot get it. It won't show the circle. What am I doing wrong?? Please advice. Thanks!
