Hey girl! I'm not sure if know, but you can make keychains and bags on your embroidery machine. In the hoop keychains are like 99% of my business. There's TONS of designs you can buy. My favorite designers are Parker on the Porch, Designs by Little Bee, and Off With Their Threads. I think they could be a cute addition to your markets!
I just want to say that I have been influenced lol!!! I just bought a few from Parker on the Porch that I'm definitely going to try out this week/next! I'm tempted to try to make the stuffies for my boys, they LOVE squishmallows and the ones on Parker on the Porch are very similar!! Thank you so much!!!
Hello Bailey. Love your hard work and videos. Tip... for your bags iron-on Pelon SF 101 interface of the fabric and then your fusible fleece. This will make them feel nice and a bit more firm. SF 101 is like magic!
Thank you so much!! That's a great idea I was kind of thinking of doing something like that but wasn't sure if it would be too thick but I don't know why I thought that without trying lol. I just got some soft and stable that I'm using in a different bag that I'm testing out so I thought I would try that too but that may be too stiff lol!
I'm using soft and stable for another project but for these bags I've started using both lightweight interfacing and fusible fleece and they're turning out great!
love the keychains!! Hey a tip on the new keychain spinner rack you bought. I bought one and used it for one market and sent it back.. It was wobbly and I have two of the shorter table top versions and they are as well, but my huband is going to drill thru them and put new hardware in to secure it better... I use mine for coasters and bookmarks so they dont have alot of weight per item but when I get it loaded up it becomes heavy and more wobbly... The one tip I can give you is to REALLY watch your products on the spinner. If they aren;'t heavy they will fly off when you get a gust of wind. Its the most annoyhing thing about them. The keychains may hang on a little better but they arent overly heavy so just watch because you may end up with them on the ground and they will get dirty. Also Im thinking you could embroidery keychains as well, that would be a big seller on your online store, you could offer personalization...
Thank you so much!! I've been putting a tent weight on the bottom of it just in case and I've not had too many wobbly issues but yesss my market was windy and we had a few casualties. I'm brainstorming what I could put on the ends to help. I'm thinking little rubber caps to help stop them from flying away as easily. I'm definitely going to offer custom ones too I'm testing out some designs that I can just make fully on the embroidery machine!
@@googoogoods ill have to keep an eye out at my hobby lobby for that fabric. Thank you for sharing! Seems like bag making is you make one and then you need more lol
I have gotten many raving reviews for SF101 I will have pick some up the next time I go to the sewing studio! Thank you so much for the tip, I just subbed!
Your keychains are very cute! Do you have a tutorial? I just bought a sewing machine but i dont kmow how to make anything! Patterns dont make sense to me as im a visual learner. 🇦🇺
I am planning on filming a tutorial video this week!! I definitely understand I like seeing things made and following a written tutorial lol. I will rewatch over and over to make sure what I'm watching matches what I'm reading lol
How much are key chains? I'd like to buy one that you made from they new flower print you purchased in this video. The one where you said is only material you could use from the purchase of fabric
Hello! I'm listing the small at $10, then the medium is $12, and large is $14! I am going to try my best to get them photographed and listed by the end of this week or the start of next! Thank you for your support!
Here are all the measurements for all the sizes (just in case!): 1 inch wide hardware: small (4x12), medium (4x14.5), large (4x17) 1.25 inch wide hardware: All the same lengths but 5 inch width instead of 4 inches!
I know you have small children, how do you find time to do all this? Creating, making, marketing, craft fairs, websites and yt? Im wondering if this is your source of income and your husband stays home to watch the kids? Im just not understanding how this works...maybe you have help with the kids but girl ive got 5, ive got no help and im trying my darnest to have time to make money. Its been very difficult to understand how i see moms on yt with businesses like mine, almost exactly...and im just struggling to get work in....my 5 kids cannot leave me alone for 5 mins. Plus, my family lives 2.5k miles away so its not like id have a way to get a helping hand. Even when i take them to church nights, i still have my baby...oh girl please tell me your secret! Lol
It is very difficult navigating being a mom and small business owner for sure. You are an incredibly strong and brave person to take on working and raising five children. That is amazing having five children in general so I can only imagine the difficulties you face. I do all of my work when my children are napping, asleep for the night, and I do most if not all my editing at our local YMCA where they can attend the daycare for two hours at a time. My husband is our main provider while I am a stay at home mom/do this. He is an extremely supportive partner and I am very thankful to him that whenever I want to do a craft fair or need to work while our children are awake if he is here he takes over. He works an office job so he is off on the weekends so that helps. I only have the two so they are definitely easier to manage than five so I can totally see how it would be difficult for you to have time not only for your business but just yourself in general. Our families live in NC while we are in FL and visit around every 8 weeks so we don't have a ton of childcare on that front but when they are here me and my husband do get to have our date time. I basically just throw myself into working whenever they sleep lol.

All of her stuff stitches out really well! Can't wait to see what you make!
L❤ve the pouches, tip for displaying them at markets, stuff them inside with old scrunched up newspapers/magazines etc to help them hold shape 😀
That's a great idea! I'll have to start saving the papers I get in the mail!!
The walking foot literally has a hole in the back for the guide bar u can see it in this video @ 9:40
If you're talking about the hole on the bottom of it that's actually a screw it doesn't go all the way through the foot
Google the singer walking foot u can see it right on the 1 that comes up for joanns
What a supply of Rifle Paper Co. fabric. My favorite prints. I rarely buy directional prints, as they are tough to use. Nice choices.
I love their collections!! Directional prints are tricky I definitely prefer not using them because they're a little stressful lol
So brilliant, watched and enjoyed till the end ☺☺
Thank you so much!!!
The pouches are adorable!!
Thank you so much!! I think I'm addicted to bag making now lol
Parker on the porch also has some in the hoop bags and other items
I purchased a few from them this afternoon!! I love that they have the RUclips tutorial with the patterns!

Are you going to put the zippered pouch on your website for purchase?
I am! Once I get a few made and photographed I will get them up on the website as soon as possible!!
@@googoogoodsI’d like to buy the strawberry pouch. ❤❤ could I buy it now and save you the time of having to list it on your website. 😀😀
Make a little handle for the makeup bags just to be able to carry it around more easily
I will test that out! My pattern doesn't have a handle in the instructions so I may have to do some practice and research lol
Cute 👝
Thank you so much!

What measurements are you using for the bigger keychain?
Here are all the measurements for all the sizes (just in case!):
1 inch wide hardware: small (4x12), medium (4x14.5), large (4x17)
1.25 inch wide hardware: All the same lengths but 5 inch width instead of 4 inches!
Smaller bag would work perfectly for makeup brushes!
That's what I was thinking too!! I think that would be a super cute use for them!
