      @@alfysCave it’s called Dressage😑

    • @SequoiaDragonstone

    • @miqolysa
      @miqolysa Год назад +27

      @@alfysCaveyes, every movement in dressage is passed on natural movements of the horse to some extent. So in theory most horses could learn that, BUT most of the horses in the high class showring were rushed through it with harsh treatments. And if the base isn't worked out properly the higher levels won't have a proper base -> so even more pressure is put on the horse to achieve the goal in other ways.
      Dressage is like ballet: it should look easy and light, not like you use every willpower to move your bodyparts this flawless way.

      I've been trying to work on learing signs of abuse like being under the bit, rolkur, and body language, etc. and I've been using my unmounted lessons for that and it seems like the horse is pretty good, but I'd love some input :) maybe it's under the bit? I just like to learn so I'm not asking questions like this all of the time, haha😅 sorry for the big rant, lol❤

    The dream?!?! Pulling on your horses face so hard its hyperflexating and has frothy spit all over its chest and face.

    • @betz6507
      @betz6507 Год назад +7

      the foam at the mouth is because the horse's jaws are relaxed and "chewing" which makes split = froth. A dry mouth (no spit) = hard mouth from riding pulling on the mouth.
      The flexing is due to the horses training, there is no force involved. To do these difficult movements, the horse curls their neck like this.
      If you watch a stallion at liberty showing off, they that this exact position.
      The point of dressage is train with the horse to do movements horses do naturally, but doing it with the rider. The horses are fit and do movements at the lightest of touches. Literally they respond to weight shifts and tiny finger movements.

    Her Knees are very tight in the Saddle and she pokes with her Spurs the whole time. At some point in time, as is with every horse, this will come back and bite her. It is simply the difference between DuJardin and Von Bredow-Werndel. A quiet harmonious seat.

      Yes, the horse is very very beautiful, but, her riding is not perfect. People who do not know about Horses and the Welfare of them, have no clue about the suttle Cruelty going on right in front of them, sad for these beautiful horses ,!.😢😮😢😊

      While many spurs are abusive, all equipment can be abusive if used wrong. Rounded spurs do not hurt the horse, and are used as a light touch, not a hard poke that hurts. In dressage, riders use spurs as a different cue from leg pressure. Think of it like the spurs are just another “button” which cause a different motion in the horse. Her riding isn’t perfect, but it is still very good, and certainly on Olympic level. Lottie Fry and Glamourdale are an amazing partnership, and there is no cruelty in this video at all. The horse is perfectly on beat, well muscled, and capable.
