I’m not fasting due to breastfeeding, but I’ll eat when my family breaks their fast. We just eat some fruit and a date and have water and then go pray. A lot of the time I just eat the date and go pray. I don’t like having all these fried foods like samosa and pakora and all that, and then a meal after that.
Same here I don't make no fried food, dates, fruits and pray. The fried food just defeats the purpose of the fast...all those long hours than eat bad lol.
My first week of Ramadan was definitely the hardest. The 2nd was way better🙏🏾 I wish I had the energy to get ready and beautiful as you do during this period 😍🥰

I always break my fast on dates with milk. I boil the milk and then add dates and some vanilla and then let it cool down, I would do this maybe 4 hours before Iftar so that the milk will get all the flavors of the date and the vanilla. It turns out so good always and it is so easy to make.

I completely agree, anyone who has help as a new parent (whether its family, friends, nanny etc) is such a blessing. I had struggled a lot when I had just delivered and had no help besides my husband. But alhumdulillah we women just are born survivors aren't we. Just one more thing I never ate in front of my family members whilst they were fasting I just felt it was inappropriate in so many ways. Though people who fast never complain but I guess it's our responsibility to be considerate and respectful towards them.
My girls have never really been big breakfast eaters but I started them both on yogurt (I used Stoneyfield Organic Baby) at around Alaina's age and they both loved it! They also loved bananas, eggs, toast, and mini oat muffins I found on Pinterest. When you're making a GF dough and it isn't binding well, you can add a little xanthan gum to help it bind better! MashAllah, you both get more beautiful in every video!
Our babies are of a similar age so I'm not fasting either. All my kids like mashed potatoes and eggs. Just boiled eggs mashed with boiled potatoes, some olive oil salt and pepper. If it's too thick add some of the water from the potato pot. So simple but so good. My baby likes a whole milk yogurt for breakfast with some fruit, favorite so far is liberte strawberry flavor. But you guys don't eat dairy,, is that right? Also cream of wheat hot cereal or like you said, oatmeal. I mix in mashed bananas or applesauce or boil it with raisins or figs so they hydrate and soften. The food you guys make looks pretty good. I feel bad when someone says their baby won't eat but I think many people don't cook and rely solely on store bought baby food. I've tasted it, so yeah, homemade is better. . I think your daughter looks very healthy and happy. Just perfect. My baby isn't picky, eats everything, salmon, chicken thigh meat, homemade cheesy pasta, mustard and collard greens, lentils and rice, squash, cabbage. I guess all the flavors are new and exciting. And if anyone eats or drinks anything she stares them down like, how dare you not share with me. lol.
Hi Leena! You can use semolina instaed of oats and serve it with fruits. Just remember to cook it! Do not use cow milk (it is not advised for small children) but goat or any kind of vegan subsitute. This should prevent bloating. This is very popular breakfest for babies in my country.

I know you mentioned that oatmeal does not work too well for the little one. For my grand daughter, i cook the oatmeal in a pot over the stove, add milk and serve with slices of bananas or blue berries for sweetness, my grand daughter loves it and it helps her to go.

Omelette is really good for babies. In the food processor whiz up veggies, cook in butter in the pan, remove then add your seasoned eggs, some cheese then your veggies. Fold in half. Remove when cooked, cut into little squares they can grab themselves.
