A Sunday fun day finds me going to a possible clogged sewer. Who loves plumbing besides me on a Sunday?

ahhhhh they did not offend that rule at all...i was surprised.
Steven Brown flushable wipes no such thing. Even though it say flushable it's not. They lie to you so you can buy it.
That guy sat there and waited for it to flush like me hoping my “2” does in a public place or someone else’s place. The anticipation of the wanting it to go down. Great video and personality to this guy!

Just did this for my daughter and son-in-law I turned water off to toilet and turn only hot water in shower and sink kept filling up container from sink and pouring into toilet. Don’t want to jinx myself but so far so good. Thanks

I just had this headache,after 200 dollars in equipment including a 18v drain auger trying to fix the problem cheap😒I failed!!
I called the plumber that did a great job,lesson learned!

Please help. toilet is somehow flooding underneath the floor and we've had a plumber come in who couldn't figure out the problem. We can't use the toilet out of fear of having to pay for damages again. Even with her insurance it cost us $8,000 out of pocket before insurance covered the rest ($15k!) to replace and clean up and it's still happening. My twins don't even have carpeting in there nursery because we're worried it'll happen again. It floods under the floor damaging the hallway the bathroom floor the basement and their nursery. The main reason we bought this house was because it had a 2nd bathroom but now we cant even use it and everyone (even guests) have to use the bathroom in our bedroom.

Hi Helpful Hint...When plunging toilet Fill the plunger with water by lowering it sideways in the toilet bowl then push it down into the throat or outlet hole before you Thrust Down Plunging The Clog..
Hydrolic plung works better than Air in the (Plumbers Helper) or (Pro plunger)
Pumps water pushing the clog down the pipe = opening the line most times... Work well

yes....i put the machine back in its home...that was most of the work. loading and unloading that beast.
I bought the Milwaukee toiket aulger and it works so much better and is really easy to use!!!

1st starting out i took the 2rhr call. Saturday get called out on a clogged sewer , then another and another. I spent all day doing 5 main lines.. I hated Saturday & Sunday calls.
I hear ya Thomas. A complete weekend off is very rare for me these days. When they come its like a vacation.
Don’t scratch the water closet with the manual auger.. I tell that to my guys all the time. That’s why the auger has a rubber guard on the bend. What kind of clean out box is that? With the sanitary line open? We don’t have those down here, all sanitary drains have to be sealed with a clean out plug the a traffic grade cover or box is used. Smells like money! 👍🏻
Yes city sewer boxes here.....an terra-cotta tee on its back for a clean out.
Good on you for troubleshooting individual toilet problems. If I saw two toilets backed up I would automatically be thinking main line stoppage.
Yes. I had my machine unloaded and went inside first.
Also if you have recently changed the flushing system in your toilet check that you do not have a double trap toilet. If you have one of these a conventional toilet flush will make it look like your toilet is blocked.

Over at city hall we have cribbage game and boiled chicken dinner every Tuesday night. Some idiot dummped his whole chicken dinner down the toilet. Then tried to flush it causing an overflow at city hall that went down the steps and out in to the street even. What a mess we had on our hands.

I have this issue right now... We get back flow out of the sink and tubs when we plunge it. It takes HOURS for the water to settle in the toilet...
You have a clogged sewer main. Need a pro if your not equipped to do this. Good luck. Keep us posted.
@@ChuckBarron thank you so much!!! I asked my boyfriend. He thinks since its wet that our septic took in ground water and is full and needs pumped! They're coming tomorrow.

Ok I work for apartments and I have a building of 8 units..
Main back up behind the clean out now the only things that over flow is the toilets. Why don’t the tubs and shower back up ?

Chuck Barron no I can’t but both clean outs on either side of building have water but yet the toilet keeps filling from other units it throws me off lol. But we don’t have a big snake so we vend it out

One of my toilets won't force anything down whenever it's flushed it doesn't have to have any waste inside of it. Water fills up but the small hole inside the toilet that pushes the waste down water isn't coming out enough.

You know last time it was 6:00am and I was taking a shower then I saw the toilet water on the floor. But we don't have any problems with the plumbing.

Ok I've got a big problem here. I am maintenance at motel. 2nd floor toilets in back to back rooms are clogged. Plunged em both. Snaked em both. Took off both toilets and sent our snake machine down and both sides it comes up from the opposite toilet. Main drain unthinking. How do I clear this?

i'm a closet auger aficionado, not much for plungers, like to pulverize offending contents, plus a big bag to put auger in so as not to leave a trail of "toilet juice"

Dude main sewer clogs are as rare as me eating salads, it could have just been two clogged toilets
rare but both toilets were clogged. Main was good. That never happens..till this day
They are cheap POS Glacier Bay toilets. They clog a lot.

Just bought a house 2 months ago.Now all of a sudden of course I'm having issues.All my toilets act as if they are clogged until you barely use plunger.Now the dishwasher will not drain.I don't seem to be having trouble with sinks draining.Its all very confusing. Any ideas lol I'm desperate.

How do i get my toilet to have blue water
Our city someone has the sewer line that is a main on their property. It was bubbling and stuff came out a mixture of things between rags and Tampons. Others were saying it was the main line busted. I think it was someone's sewer line busted because it was not far from a fence and the water main to the house was on the same side as the fence outside of the yard. I know clogged toilets and used toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, and washers and dishwasher lines get sewer gases coming out and it can knock out or make you seriously I'll. Those ppl need to run that tub every wk to keep it down.

I was using a toilet plunger and the handle broke off of the black rubber piece and I had to reach into the toilet and get it out

If I remember correctly I believe there marked Full Flo or something on that order , best plunger you can get also I see he has a General auger. It don't get any better than that.

I never plunge a toilet for a paying customer. At least the auger makes them feel they couldn't do it.. Especially charging to come out then the job cost.. I didn't go crazy to overcharge,but i don't want people called on Sunday thinking its normal business hours.. Often i found follow up work that I just didn't want to do on Sunday.
Probably most miserable call i had on Sunday, but my boss was great, he took all emergency calls prior to sending them to me.. Sunday crawlspace. Go to the shop get my truck, i load the equipment on Friday night in case. So 20 mins to the shop, 1/2 hr to the job. Find the supt and access toe crawl space, go in about 30 feet. There's a new pve tee, with plug. I grab a trash can and catch some water, then snaked that line for 1.5 hours. Smelling that nastyness, glad no chemicals, probably because they messed with it all week.
I worked all week, why didn't you call then. I could have left and said i needed help, but now I had no mercy.. I own a 80 foot cable, i could easily put into my personal machine and been gone 1,2,3.. But the company snake is 35 feet. So i went down around 60 feet and installed a 2" test tee with 2 no hub couplings.
I always got paid from that boss minimum of 4 hrs 2x for Sunday, but i didn't want to spend it all working.

I live off grid my toilet is over filling just pee in it 😯 and pee is now filling the bath
So if water came up into the tub, does that mean the homeowner couldn't fix it?
Means the sewer main is blocked.
CB2 & AB need to quit their nasty habits. Take it from me, you start going down that path and it just gets worse and worse. It's a waste of time and money. I make more money plumbing than using my worthless degree. College taught me useless crap. The plumber i was apprenticed to taught me how to make money.
Ya.....CB2 graduates in june....Ab playing ball so the both doing it...then its plumb time full time.
