This must be some type of wizardry because my toilet was clogged bad for days and as soon as I said the "plunge like it owes you money mantra" it magically unclogged, thank you dooki wizard.
same, usually the hot water & dish soap trick works for me but even that wasn't doing the job. I thought I've lost all hope until I saw this video and he said that line lol.

The comments say it all, I was plunging completely wrong - a few sets of plunging like you demonstrated and “woosh” the whole thing cleared. I’ve been working on the clog for DAYS with various techniques and I just needed to plunge harder, faster and not loose the pressure and fill the plunger with water 😮

For future reference there are faucet tap things on the pipes/wall under/behind the toilet that allow you to cut off the water that feeds into the toilet

Thanks for a great video. I had a bad clog today, and I initially tried conventional plunging. Then went and got a gimmicky looking plunge gun and un clogging chemical. neither had much effect. Last resort before buying an auger or calling a plumber I came to RUclips. Watched your video and I knew I had the right plunger but wrong technique. I wasn't coming in at an angel to purge the air. Once I correct that, I felt a difference and after a few seconds, voila. Unclogged. Thanks again!
