Have you ever thought about teaching a career development class to a re-entry program? I work in staffing former offenders with the goal of reducing recidivism. You speak very well and convey info in a relatable way. We need more people who can get their points across and know what they're talking about to volunteer in offender re-entry.

Don't you guys get funding from the government?

@@brycetubbs-virtualaccounti6344 I don't at this time. We also aren't 501C3. We’re under a different tax-exempt code, so we still have to pay some taxes. The only government funding we qualify for is under the WOTC. There isn't that much funding for re-entry programs in Louisiana. Politicians want to lock up as many as possible here. We have the highest rate of incarceration per capita.

Thank you for this video. I gained some great information, so I subscribed. I've considered doing bookkeeping remotely (I no longer live in the USA), is this a feasible proposition? If so, how would I get my client's financial records and receipts?

Yes, you could make that work
You would need tech savy or really organized clients (as opposed to the guys that bring in a shoebox once per year because they can't figure out how to use a scanner lol) they can scan things to you, could send bank statements od have all their bank accounts and credit cards uploaded to the QB feed.

You can, it's easiest to get clients if you go after countries that are open to people immigrants so Canada can be easier than US.
