    Thank you for talking about drug store hair care- I am a 16 year hairdresser with a high end brand and with them reformulating products, I have had to seek out new options- all based off your knowledge and recommendations! I able to take this knowledge back behind the chair and give options to people!!! So thank you. High end does not meant results. Personally found this brand I use was breaking my hair and not giving me proper conditioning. So giving advice to clients based off of my own knowledge has spread my eyes to look more carefully at ingredients

The ordinary recommends not to use the copper peptide serum with direct acids such as salicylic acid and AHAs. Will the copper peptide serum lose efficacy if used with the IT cosmetics serum?

    Great video, Abby! Can you please do a video on hair care on a tropical island. I recently went on a tropical vacation and had the worst hair. I was told to keep conditioner in my hair while swimming in the ocean and skip shampoos and just use conditioner. Nothing helped. AHA's are excellent for aging skin - just once a week - but you can't use them the same night as retinoid so changing out one night retinoid for AHA is a form of skin cycling and highly recommended by dermatologists.

    Just an FYI, but I mentioned on instagram how I used an exfoliating toner before the buffet plus copper peptides and got a lot of comments that AHA’s make the copper peptides way less potent. Not sure if this is true but several people told me this!

    I dont think people are saying they know more than product formulators... i think people are catching onto the fact that the US government does NOT regulate chemicals used in beauty products, and people are becoming ill due to a build of up environmental toxins in the products over a period of years. We cannot trust the US government to regulate whats in it (like they do in europe and other countries) so it has fallen to the consumers to do the research which IS unfortunate as we are not experts... but the bigger issue is that we simply cannot trust products here.

  • @kmzkmz6375
    @kmzkmz6375 Год назад +6

    For anyone in the comments, you can still trust cosmetic chemists AND sift through ingredients to see what is in the beauty products you already or want to use. 😂 checking ingredients is just like checking the ingredients on a box of cake mix. Never forget that there are loopholes to nearly everything and like the rest of us chemists don’t in fact know everything. And do not think that 100% of cosmetic chemists have our best interests at heart. So yea it’s totally okay to question and check ingredients on any product food/cosmetics or otherwise.

    ❤ love this channel! Im likely closer to your moms age, and can absolutely agree with your statement on the It Cosmetics ByeBye under eye bags. I tried similar products like the Peter thomas roth stuff and the maelys Wow-it - the It cosmetics works so much better. Same concept, but without the white film and the over tightening effect. I have super dry & dehydrated skin, so i have to REALLY beef up my under eye hydration before using it, including an under eye oil (akar skin restore eye serum). After thats absorbed, I'll use the It cosmetics and wow. I got it as part of a review so it was free, but I will absolutely keep buying 💯. I have to also say I really appreciate how thorough and concise your content is! Lots of love to you❤️❤️

      The same happened to me. The first time it was my own fault because 0,5 ml is way too little to notice a difference its the swelling in the first 14 days that make the lips look good. The second time I used 1 ml and them 1 ml again and then 0,5 ml just to be gone after a few months very disappointing.

    I had the same results when I had lip filler done. I have bumps under my upper lid that never went away & look awful & now I’m too afraid to have anyone touch my lips again.

    So you are using tret and exfoliants both? I wondered if that was possible.

      They shouldn't be used at the same time.

    Hello,
    Do you know of a more affordable exfoliant than bye bye breakout?

    I wish you talked about the products you for real love and use not just what is popular on social media at a given time. I've spent sooo much money based on your recommendations. Now I find out you like drugstrore too but weren't talking about it to be more popular and go with the flow on utube. :P

    Are you still using Hairitage shampoo & conditioner? They have a biotin shampoo & conditioner now

      Topical biotin doesn't do anything
