Products I have started using because of you:
    K18
    Pureology Colour Fanatic
Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate+Ouai Detox Shampoo (Asked for them for Christmas)
    Inkey List Salicylic Scalp treatment
    Living Proof Triple Bond Complex
    L'Oreal Micellar Water
I am sure there's much more I have tried but these are my top repurchases
I have also implemented lots of techniques that you've shared, and adapting them for my wavy/curly hair.
I've finally found base products that word for me and a sustainable routine, and my hair feels amazing: I am having to cut it less often and as a result it's getting long. You are one of the only RUclipsrs that I run to watch new uploads for!
Thank you for sharing all your tips, the scientific basis behind them and cheaper alternatives (which saved me before I got my first big girl job)
You are a hair/skin lifesaver! You and the Welsh twins are my holy trinity. Hope you are recovering from your burnout/low energy period and sending you so much gratitude and positivity.

I clicked to see the empties video, because I love those. But then as bonus, saw my favorite skin care brand pop up - G&G :D I have used them for years. Jelly Joker cleanser - once I started to use that one - I have kept using ONLY that cleanser, I must be on tube 7 or 8 by now. Usually I like to experiment with skin care.. but when you find that perfect product for you, you do not even want to swap. It is that good. In addition staples in my routine are their retinal 0,1%. I struggled with using tret almost 2 years. My skin just could not tolerate it. So I went back to using G&G and that was definitely right decision, my skin is looking goooood and no more irritation and struggling with peeling skin. Their C-Glow is one of my favorite vit C serums - so affordable and they make a fresh patch each week. Their vit C never arrives dark. So glad to see them sponsoring you, because they are truly a great brand :)

      @Vjestica7 Год назад +2

The same for me. I really don't see any benefit from retinol, retinal, pure vit C and other scientifically proven ingredients for anti age, but that serum is magnificent. Not saying these are not working on a long term basis and I am using them regularly, but as I am 34 I noticed that if I frown that tiny horizontal lines on my forehead took a few seconds longer than before to fully disappear. Since I started using Copper peptide serum I don't have that problem any more and my skin elasticity really improved.

I stared using the ogx oil because of you and it has help me a lot. I have a natural healthy hair and because of that I can not always see improvement when I use a new product. But I definitely can see an improvement now. When I tried to stretch my visit to my hairdresser (because she is two hour away from where I live) I start to see some split ends. But this oil help me to keep my hair healthier between my haircuts.
Also the dry shampoo from living proof it’s GREAAAT! I have super dark hair and It gives me almost 0 white cast. And it works incredibly good.
I have tried some other products that you have recommend and they are now part of my routine, like the redken conditioner, the blue little bottle for bond repair, and some more. That’s why I really appreciate your honesty review.
    Love u 🥰

I wanted to share my experience with the hair products, and why now I'm more willing to splurge on some items based on your recommendations.
I started with the Pureology leave-in conditioner. I liked how my hair felt. I don't style my hair but this still helped. Then I got the Kristen ess shampoo along with the Redken shampoo conditioner set (color magnetics, but acidic bonding next time). I was using jojoba oil for pre shampoo and some Indian hair oils, but I switched to the OGX penetrating argan oil, because coconut oil does not suit my hair (after years of trial). And, this is was amazing. My husband usually samples products I have, and he loved his hair after using the oil especially (he has coarse, curly hair).
Now, the best part, I added the Elizavecca conditioning treatment and the EverPure concentrate. I now have the confidence to leave my hair open, which I otherwise always braid. I could see it getting better in a few weeks, and it's one stress off my mind now.

G&G being available in the US is super exciting. I’ve been using the Beauty of Joseon eye serum (0.02% retinal) as my retinoid for about 18 months now, since adapalene was WAY too strong. If I ever do plan to move up, G&G A-Game 5 would be my first choice, so it’s nice that it’s available here now.

I have started using the Redken acidic bonding line because of you. I can't remember the last time my hair was so smooth and not tangled. I have tried probably over a hundred different shampoo/conditioner systems. My hair is oily but curly so it needs moisture despite my oily scalp. Being curly also means it's prone to tangling which when I was younger I used to just brute force rip through 🤦‍♀️. As I have gotten older, I have had some unwanted side effects from migraine meds and lost more hair than I would have liked. This is literally a miracle product for me. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort to bring us the best of the best! ❤

My hair is the prettiest and longest it has ever been since finding your content. The biggest change I have made since watching your videos is my hair wash day is so extensive. Typically two shampoos - Pureology and DPHue Apple Vinegar Shampoo. Followed by two conditioners which vary as you have mentioned. I do have a tendency to get dandruff flaky scalp so I need to use dandruff shampoo once a month. I use Amika the Wizard religiously after washing. And some hair oil. I have really thick hair - now 50% grey but not frizzy which I have struggled with my whole life. I also don't use heat very much at all. I love how my hair looks after using the Sleepy Tie!
One more thing - I have used PC for 20 years. Cleansers are not my favorite. But I swear by 2% BHA. You should try their electrolyte moisturizer - you will love it. Also the anti-aging hydrator is great too.

My favorite makeup remover is the Softymo cleanser that went totally viral in Japan. The Kahi eye balm that went viral in Korea because a bunch of KDrama actresses used it is really good too. I didn't notice changes until I stopped using it for a month. I got it for moisturizing benefits, not anti-aging but after 3 weeks of stopping it, I started noticing creasing and lines whenever I applied eyeshadow so I'm back on it!

My OGX coconut oil come in a spray?. Is that a difderent formula? I got it at Walmart for like 6$ CANADIAN. So I had to give a go, Ive onky been using it for a minth (4 washh days) and I love it as a preshampoo. I used to use the Shea Moisture Yogurt and Manuka Honey mask, pre shampoo but it was very messy and heavy to apply to dry hair so this works much better... and I love the spray!
Althoufh when I need a hair oil for my ends throughtout the week I like the Verb Ghost Oil because it is very lightweight. For a scalp oil I make my own concotion using the Argan Oil from The Ordinary mized with Castor Oil and like 10-12 drops rosemary oil. I think this has been the biggest chnage as I am seeing lots of new growth. Apparently rosemary has been peoven to be just qs effectuve as Minoxidil (which is oercribed by doctors for hair thinning)

I absolutely LOVE the L'Oreal Bond Repair shampoo and conditioner. My hair is so much stronger and healthier. I'm not sure if this is attributable to the shampoo/conditioner or just following a lot of your tips regarding how to take care of your hair (avoiding tight, pulled back styles, not sleeping with it wet, etc.), but I used to have really thin hair along my hair line and I don't anymore! I also recently got the OGX Coconut Oil and have liked using it so far. My hair is much healthier than it was and I just got a trim but I'm hoping this helps with maintaining the health between trims and entering into post-partum. Thanks so much for all you do, Abbey!

Abbey did you ever try the SPF from your Dollar Tree haul? It was the Sun Basics SPF 50 in the purple bottle.
I picked it up because you said it feels nice and smells like sunscreen (I love that). I use it daily on my face and it’s so fantastic. It feels so luxurious and creamy; not too heavy, not too runny and melts right into my skin. It’s not drying or greasy either. No white cast and beautiful under all of my makeup. I like it better than all of my more expensive facial SPFs. Love Dollar Tree!

@@Idk-do4dbIt's really mostly 30-50ml, maaaaaaybe sometimes 70ml. Anyways it would be cool if they gave the option of a bigger size like the ordinary do. I would hate for them to only start offering a bigger size as it would be more expensive and people like me who already struggle to find ones that won't break them out just won't be willing to commit from the get go like that.

I’ve used the multi-peptide eye serum in combination with the ageriline and matrixil and it’s worked wonders on my crows feet. People are always surprised by my age when I say it and although I use tretinoin I obviously don’t use it near my eyes it’s great for that.

The Pureology leave in spray has ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL in it which if you have dry or sensitive skin would create havoc with your scalp. ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL and ALCOHOL DENANT should be band from all hair and skin products. It's very drying, not good even if you have oily scalp. The Redken 25 leave in conditioner does not contain either of those two ingredients. Both have some less than stellar fragrance related ingredients.

Botox was one of the best decisions I made. Where products and good skin care can’t touch - Botox is there. I wish I had started sooner as my issues (much like yours) would’ve been better treated prior to them becoming an issue. Products help, absolutely, but when you have a structural/muscular caused ‘imperfection’ (ex, your dimple/dent, large or over active jaw muscle etc) Botox really did wonders for me. As for naturium, it’s hard to support/get behind a brand whose owner was so shady when first introing the brand on her channel. She first made videos of ‘favourites’ and would rave about that brands products - without notifying her audience that she has an affiliation with them. It was later only addressed when people in the comments started to leave one too many connecting the dots and she wasn’t able to delete them fast enough. I understand you separate the brand/product from the ‘drama’ behind them, however, I do believe these types of cases are something to take into consideration

So glad you liked the Redken One united.
I just ordered it before seeing your video, hoping it would be a dupe for the Pureology, which is twice the price of the Redken. Hope it works !
BTW the Matrix Miracle Creator is probably another dupe of the Pureology Color Fanatic, the ingredient list is similar also, but with different oils. (Matrix also belongs to the L'Oreal group)
Still bummed that I can't find the OGX Miracle Coconut Oil here, though...
