Yo girl! I am collecting a series called the Benni Harper Mysteries and it is so good! The MC girl is a Christian too!
I think you should check it out.
The romance in it is super cute and it has NO smutt scenes. It will make you have a thing for 90s cop guys. It is the first cozy mystery I have ever gotten and I love it.
There's some "yikes" moments but most of the time the main conflict gets resolved pretty well. (And obviously the mystery lol)
The first book is fools puzzle.
I don't think it is in print anymore so the easiest way to find it is to either check your library, your local used bookstore, or get the kindle version.
It was published in the 90s so some of the jokes are a bit "edgy" but man is it funny.😂
