Love the video. I nearly busted a gut laughing when you turned the saw on and you cut to the power outage! Keep up the good work
Haha thanks!
Ahahahaha, hilarious when the lights went off & the video shorts of your friend's unboxing!! I'm so excited your business is doing so well!! Thank God you're a brainiac & can figure out how to run that equipment! God bless y'all!! ♥️🙏♥️
You definitely need to connect that saw to your dust collection system. Maybe Neighbor Doug could figure it out.
That would be cool
Love seeing the two laser engravers in production. You are the straight man (in a comedic sense) in your interactions with Spicer. Always look forward to your videos.
you are following the American Dream. Great job....
I remember my dad having an old Craftsman aluminum body 12" circular saw. Hadn't seen a 16" model before. That's a seriously nice piece.
It is. I’m very happy with it
“Say hello to my little friend” that saw is sick!
Another neat way to cut on the saw mill is jack one end up so you get oval waffers with the bark all the way around! Might be some more value added options!
Adam. You REALLY need to make a couple of sets of folding saw horses. Those metal ones you have look like they're going to collapse!
I’m loving it! Keep up the good work!
when is your next video?
@@joemurray9131 I’m hoping the weather gets better. Rainy every week and cold. Too muddy to do much here outside
Absolutely loved the shot of the lights going out when you fired the saw up!
Adam, another excellent piece of work and congratulations on spreading your wings into a
New world for woodworking 😮😊❤
Marvellous. Blessed lad. So nice to see you growing
You could use thaat rotary attachment to engrave drinking glasses etc. That could be a nice idea for events. Think, all guests at a wedding/reunion get a glass with an engraving specific for that event. It would need some experimentation to get efficient at doing volume.
You could contact youtube channels you know, that go to shows, and make their business cards for them to give out, with on the back or in a corner "made by" your website. This does not need to be limited to business cards, think keychain hangers, toasters etc.
Lots of opportunities.
Good day Adam , much appreciated sir I have just received my sign and I am happy with the product. I will showcase this on a up coming video. Thanks again Adam pleasure doing busing and enjoying the content you bring keep it up my friend cheers. 👌🏻🔥🇨🇦
Friends of mine nine years ago started selling their own brewed beer from their garage, they are now in a brand new $18 million dollar brewery and have 5 other locations around the New England area... Treehouse Brewery.... All started in a garage....
That’s an awesome story!
@@HometownAcres Your an awesome story, I've been here since your last house!!
Apple started in a garage.
I have been watching your channel for sometime and so happy for you ! Glad it’s all coming together. Small business owners make this country great!
Thank you so much!
That definitely gives you more accuracy and variations to use. The color palette was cool also.
Keep on living the dream Adam!!! That is a fabulous setup and business operation!
Love the added revenue stuff, but crave more video content of you having fun with your great family. Watching kids growing up in a traditional type family gives us hope for the future when all we see everyday is destruction, lack of morals, lack of family, country going to hell, wokeness, and lies about politicians / economy. Uplifting videos are the new gold.
Couldn’t agree more!!!
Good job!
Good luck with your new adventure. Stay safe.
I've had the S1 for about 2 months and love it. I also have X-Tool D1, the og of X-Tool lasers. Like you I have to run both at the same time but the S1 is just so much nicer and faster.
The new saw is nice. You need better, sturdier saw horses since this is more than a hobby
How cool is that engraver & saw wow!! Keep up the good work!!
Interesting video, I guess the next step would be adding color to signs? Wonder how that could be automated?
17:45
The best sign so far .
So Adam, you’ll be hanging that sign in your house?
Perhaps a copy in your Son’s room.
Great signs, they really look nice. Have you considered cutting logs at an angle to get oval shapes that have live edge all the way around?
I haven’t but that would be cool
I really like this idea!
Great Job !!!
Парень - ты настоящий жук! Молодец, что улавливаешь способы заработать! Так держать!
Wanted to say TY! Your first laser video got my neighbor and I into dueling laser shop set up! I went with XTool after loads of research and their new software is da bomb!!!!
xTool is the Apple of lasers. Love my xTool.
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
It doesn't hurt that some people think you will showcase their logo in one of your videos. Buying tools is always fun.
Beautiful.
Very well done, as always, Adam.
I admire the wisdom by which you proceed at. Creativity is also paramount in this type of work.
I've been told being an overnight success takes about 15 years, and I believe that you'll see it come to fruition long before!
Lastly, do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings and not obscure men.
Keep getting after it!
Congrats on the beginnings of the new business nice work Adam
Congrats on growing the buisiness. Continued success!!!
well done great product good luck with it ken from kent england
Thanks Ken!
Hi Adam, Very nice!!
Great video Adam! Thats my favorite laser by far.
Samesies
Cool video. You are definitely set up for production. I bought a Ortur LM3 with everything including the rotary for spindles. Sold all my wood turning equipment to make room in my shed. So now need to get this set up. Out wit the old work bench, and build one to fit the Ortur. Lightburn scares me, and will be a huge learning curve for me. Thanks for putting this video up. Very well done.
Awesome video! Best wishes for continued success! Well done! 👍
Love the new addition to the shop. You are becoming quite the comedian 😂. How is the level of the pond coming along? Do you feel that you've finally got it sealed off? I can't wait to see it finally full.
I’ve use a big circular saw like that, as well as a 12” circular saw. The 16” is a beast to handle. The blade size helps stay straight, but they tend to bind up quick if you get off a straight line at all. Big power draw too for sure 😆.
Great video. Glad you’re getting good traction with this new revenue stream. 👍🏼
After you crosscut with the big skill saw you may want to invest in a band saw to take of the sides. I guess you could do that at the saw mill as well so you are bringing up pre-dimensioned slabs for the planner.
Excellent Adam, I'm delighted your getting good business from this and making profit. Some sort of a custom spray booth to clearcoat etc would be so worthwhile for you with a small compressor and a LVLP spray gun. Dougs the man to help ! Best wishes and continued success !
Fantastic photo engraving. I will need to consider about doing one for my wife's grandfather Allis Chalmers's 1942 tractor..
I’m very happy for your success and hope your business keeps growing. However I do miss your regular building projects, pond updates and firewood content…back to basics!
We’ll get there. It’s just been very rainy and muddy lately
GOOOOOOOD
AFTERNOON EVERYONE!!!.. sorry Adam I’m late 😮….wicked nice Adam!
Glad you’ve upgraded to something you really like & enjoy. 🤑🤑🤑
Have a day
It’s alright. So was I. This video was supposed to publish on Sunday haha
Amazing work!! But i couldn't help but notice Puddins Garage.. That's the place i need to have my stuff worked on!! Great sign!!!
Wow the sky is the limit. Wait til the Bars and Restaurants get wind of your products. You could produce washroom signs and help these establishments get rid of those ugly plastic signs. Those signs could go from rustic to very sophisticated and incorporate the business logo. Great job...
A quick glance at the thumbnail and I thought you were baking large loaves of bread! ha Happy to hear that's picking up for you!
Howdy Adam! I hope your new business pans out and is successful. Have a great day, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
Thank you! You too!
Beautiful work Adam! Pretty soon you’ll have a whole line of those things! You ever consider doing bar tops? I’ve got a none enclosed laser and was able to put my logo on it along with deer tracks that go clear across the 8ft slab. I just sat it up on the floor and kept moving it along the slab. Easy and turned out awesome. With your channel I bet you could literally sell a ton of them! Take care!
great job. I have the XTool D1 and looking to get another laser. The S1 may be it. thank you
Awesome
If you close your eyes, it’s like Ron Swanson is telling us about his tools
That was a great video Adam. I know your business will be very successful. Also, after using that monstrous Skill saw I bet the Milwaukee battery operated saw felt like a toy. Anyway, stay safe, healthy and warm and dry. Bill H from Cranberry Township
Yeah it sure did haha. Both saws have their place
I laughed out loud at both the words and the logo for one of them. I thought it was "It's Fucked" Garage. In my mind, it always will be. Ha ha, I'm still laughing at that ! These signs all look fantastic. Random thought : Is that how they do headstones that I sometimes see with pictures etched into the granite ? There's a revenue stream for you ... headstones ... pets and people ... we all gotta go sometime ....
Haha glad you enjoyed it
A monster saw indeed. MUCH safer than the Mikita or B&D I used in my day.
Adam make yourself some lower saw horses for using the big skil saw
It will be much more comfortable and easier to handle the saw.
I know from experience Sir
Lightburn is NOT $120/yr. For diode lasers it is $65 and that is a lifetime license with free updates for a year. I think XTool including a simple to use software is great for a new user, but Lightburn is the king for its broad range of advanced functions.
Hi Adam. I know where I live there are a couple big flea markets and I know without a doubt, if I went there with a couple Clemson and Gamecocks boards, they would sell out. Especially during football season. Then have some of those business cards that you can make, you'd be in business.
The saw sounds like a v8!
Not sure if you couldn't get away with chain saw cut edges rather that smooth saw cut edges. I would prefer chain saw edge on live edge sign.
Hope your experience with xtool is better than mine. I had laser head fail under warranty. Took a dozen emails and almost 3 weeks to resolve. Their after sales support is very poor. Nice work on signs.
I would love to see you get a larger planer or a power hand plane it breaks my heart when you have to cut off the live edge on those 3 inch slabs. Leaving them with live edge would be amazing. 😊
The price difference between a 20” planer and a 24” planer is about $4,000 vs $12-15k. Plus you’d need 3 phase electric which we don’t have. So unfortunately a larger planer just isn’t in the cards
P1 is even better
Such an AMAZING job 🤩🤩
What's the coating you use to make it glossy?
Congrats on the new saw! I'm currently saving my pennies for one. Curious if you're treating this new venture as it's own small business or if it'll fall under your larger media company? Don't feel obligated to answer; just genuinely curious if you see any advantages from your CPA perspective. Thanks!
Really happy for you that you’ve hit a stride with this! Would it be worth advertising on places like Etsy?
Cool video. Is there a much larger laser engraver out there? I was thinking about a 5x8 cnc router table in size for example. I would want something that can do rather large conference tables in addition to full size family table types.
I think you should make one for Mike from Out doors with the Morgans, If it was not for him
do you have enough oak slabs dried to fill orders ?
Turns out the American dream is alive and well if you’re willing to work for it.
Question:
As a CPA, do you offer on consulting/tax services ?
I do not. I used to practice corporate accounting. Not tax services. Tax laws change with every new administration so if you are not doing taxes everyday you are kind of out of the loop
i use my engraver for hobby but looking to startup a small order for extra spending money. how do you deal with 1099 form for uncle sam? the dreaded EARNED INCOME taxes. was just wanting to know if you have to proof your extra income and any info would be helpful. thanks
What do I search for on Google to see if someone in my area can add text to a walking stick ?
3:51 Where is your dust collection system?!
Seems like as soon as I buy it I don’t use much for a while lol
😃
X Tool is good but over priced. I have had the Atomstack 10 watt for 2 years and love it and have now just bought the X70 70 watt for the same price as your 40 watt which is also super quiet. Atomstack also has great customer service but unfortunately they just stopped shipping to Canada. And to clarify Lightburn is a one time purchase of $83 with free upgrades for one year. Not sure where you're getting your information from but you might want to correct your video.
Speaking of neighbor Doug, is he still making videos?
He is it’s just been pretty muddy lately.
Please never work for the “Man” again. You have a lot of great things going on! Love the laser engraving business. Saw a business for sale and he specialized in AirBNB signs. Nice niche, Etsy would be a good place to sell.
Day 2 of requesting a pond update
4:30
OKAY !
I'm gonna have to say it : *SAFETY FIRST* !
*THIS STAND IS IS UNSTABLE *
Please stop being penny wise, man.
Your family will be all the more grateful.
Rant over.
Thank you.
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Front Windshield for your Polaris Ranger 570 Midsize( if your car is 2015-2021)
$2300. It would be nice to have, but not in the budget for now.
Love the product. But why do you use such a crappy saw horse?
They are very fast and easy to setup and tear down
starting a small business in your garage, when the main piece of kit is given to you by the manufacturer....
Well considering I mill all the lumber myself as well I would say the sawmill would be the main piece of equipment. And the planer is more expensive than the engraver so really the engraver is 3rd on the list.
Thank you Adam! Thank you for using the correct grammar when stating that you started your business “by accident” and not ‘on accident’ like some other language butchers.
Many thanks from Australia.
Adam don't wear a hat inside let your hair breathe, hair is just like some trees shade intolerant!
Well done Adam, bet you knew there was Gold in those Trees and you are well on your way to Mining the Riches they Provide. Your new and expanding Skill Sets are Seeding a Path to a bright future. 😀👍🪵👍🪵👍
Thank you Richard!
