I really enjoyed watching your video but I would Have loved if you also put the settings you used on the different items. I am VERY new to this and have no idea about settings. It was great to see all of your results though thank you.
Great video brother. I really appreciate you. This was very inspirational. I've been looking at Laser Engraving and this went very long way towards convincing me that this Tool model or another Xtool is thE way to go.
Mate can you advise where to buy the raw materials (metal business cards, wood keychains, etc) from ? Need it for setting up a small business hence the price needs to be sustainable.
Very intuitive. One of the more simple things to learn. You can get going in no time. There are loads of great software tutorials, but you can pretty easily get started in the software.
Thanks for the fast response@@SixEightWoodworks My state track association has asked if I could be onsite and customize medals for the top eight finishers in each event. Do you think this is something I could set up outdoors in a tent and use for that purpose? Each one would be customized with name, date and event time or distance. Would I just use a laptop to input the info and go?
You bet! Yes, that’s the great feature about this unit. It does quite well on etching metal. Just know it doesn’t engrave deeply. For that, you need a more powerful fiber laser. But a metal medal blank can be engraved and get good results like I showed in the video. Darker engravings would just require slower speeds.
Just a light sanding with 220 grit or higher on a random orbital sander and you’re good to go. I started with masking with medium tack transfer tape. But time consuming.
Great video! Can this engrave in color and how is that done? Also, can this cut metal? Like a sterling silver or vermeil? I want to make personalized name jewelry. Where the words are spelled out in a different font. Thanks for all the info!
Personally I love both and they usually run a combo deal to get those two machines together. However, it really comes down to what you plan on doing. If you want portability and plan on primarily engraving, the F1 is great. The P2 can do everything, is obviously much bigger, and it superior to all the machines for cutting a variety of materials including thicker wood and all colors of acrylic. Some other great features like curved surface engraving, batch processing and more. The two cameras really help with pinpointing on smaller items too.
i was wondering if you have an email I could talk to you at, I need to laser some stuff but cannot afford one so I thought I could ask if you could do it for me! Thanks

I have watched several F1 Videos. Your video has been my favorite so far. Be blessed brother and thanks for the content.
Thank you so much! Glad it’s helped!
Does it work on anodized aluminum? Few sites said you need 30w for engraving anodized aluminum and from what I understand this is 20w?
Thank you for such complete review. This was awesome thank you for sharing this.

Doe this also have the same thing the s1 does with curved or uneven material?
I see you are using the fume extractor. How do you like it? How expensive are the filters and how often do you have to change them out?

Looks good, thanks. Coin cleaning has some laws associated with it, in part to prevent “improving” collectible coins for higher resale.
Good to know!
What is the learning curve like as far as taking ideas for images and script onto the material?
