ooh that Chuckle Brothers joke is the most savage on Mock the Week in ages
Reminds me of Frankie 😅
I don’t get it
Tactical Ultimatum Well the chuckle brothers was a TV show with 2 brothers who usually used the catch phrase "to me" "to you". One of the brothers died recently so the phrase is only one sided.
Oh i knew that, i was overcomplicating it lol
A joke Frankie Boyle would be proud of
That Pingu joke lmao
Yes it was quite a good one.
I like to think that the reason we can never understand what Pingu and his family are saying is because everyone is actually just swearing profusely and they had to censor the entire dialogue.
@@killdozer7792 😂😂😂
Ed's Chuckle Brothers joke is savage. Channeling Frankie Boyle there
Too soon, too freakin soon!!
Please, explain. Am Spanish
Abel Israel Cruz Ayuso The Chuckle brothers had a recurring catchphrase where they said, "to me, to you," back and forth between the pair. However, one of the Chuckle brothers unfortunately passed away recently, so we'll never hear it again, hence the joke.
OHHHH TO ME.... thought he meant Timmy
@@ryancasey9763
It did sound like Timmy when i heard it first lol.
Well, we all knew nothing was going to top that first one...
Personal Crisis Homer could you please explain it good sir
@@smelbop4437 The Chuckle Brothers were children's entertainers for years and years, with a popular catchphrase "To me! To you!" Back and forth. Barry Chuckle died last month, so Ed Gamble said "To me!..." and got no reply
Personal Crisis Homer Never mind, I misheard the line as "Timmy!"
Oh right
Me too.
That joke was worth a chuckle
or 2
Rachel Munday Nah, you can only get 1 chuckle now.
MHSchonberg ouchhh
Ed actually looks upset with his own joke at the start
He realised he may get backlash for it
I thought he was just acting like Paul realising no one was going to say it back
aa
I dont understand the joke
Oh chuckle brothers
I appreciate the toaster bath joke on a personal level
R u alright there m8
The actual film was almost as dark.
@@jamesbrice3267 Which film?
@@pineapplepenumbra The Brave Little Toaster. It's a Don Bluth horror movie for children.
@@jamesbrice3267 Thanks, I'll look it up.
Lmao i thought he said "timmy" and i was so confused
Hahaha same 😂
Wait what did he say because Timmy is all I hear 😂
@@jamjamwithbread3514 "to me " chuckle brothers rip
Simon Fetwi same 😂😂
What did he say?
Hugh’s Pingu impression is spot on!
That Paw Patrol joke is hilarious after watching an hour of that shit with my niece 🤣
Wait, what did he say the man used to kill Rocky? A rolled-up 80s cassette?
@@themightygallium9509 A rolled up A to Z.
@@hydro10 That... doesn't really make any sense.
@@themightygallium9509 Yes it does, an A to Z was a book of maps that many drivers kept in their cars back in the days before GPS, and they were bulky old things so rolling one up and hitting someone or something with it would likely have hurt.
@@TheTradge Ah. You see, I was born in 2005, so I wouldn't know. Thanks for your input!
"Panda is both black and white and asian!"
- Where have I heard this joke before?
About 4 months ago I feel I heard it somewhere, it's so good.
A Slavoj Zizek parody video called Perverted Dance (Cut the Balls) definitely makes that joke, and that video is from 4 years ago
Its from the internet, nothing new
I think Jim Gaffigan made that joke once. Can't confirm, though.
"To me".... At the time, this was the most heart wrenching joke for numerous generations ever told in just two words.
Did Ed's joke make Barry Chuckle, or is he rolling over in his grave?
Rachel idk how ?
Comedian: this definitly won't go in
VIDEO: *GOES IN*
Naturally this was some of the darkest humour Mock The Week have had since Frankie Boyle. Say what you will about it now, but I still find it hilarious.
The Chuckle Brothers joke was hilarious.
And sad at the same time
I don’t get it
ULTREZ are you joking?
Brandon Richards no I realised it now😂
ULTREZ haha
"Baron Greenback used to be Danger Mouse's arch nemesis. However, one day he had a change of heart, became a good guy, and eventually got a job presenting Mock the Week."
_To me..._
I'm done. I'm tapping out ... Enjoy the rest of the video everyone. 🤣🤣🤣
Can u explain it to me plz i didn't get i guess because I'm not british
@@cmacompilation4649 There was a children's TV show called ChuckleVision which, if I recall (unfortunately my childhood is a depressingly distance memory), was a lot of slapstick comedy and they were part of most people's childhoods as well as many children at the time.
The show was fronted by two men who called themselves The Chuckle Brothers and their shows usually had a segment of them carrying something together in situations where they had to be careful and as they did it, one would say 'to me' and the other would then say 'to you' and they would repeat it as they attempted to not mess up.
Unfortunately, one of them passed away at some point before this episode so the joke is the surviving brother working alone and attempting to do the bit, which would be sad.
That Chuckle Brothers joke has given Mock The Week it's bite back.
Yep this round was definitely a brilliant one, I just hope it's like this more often
Yeah... although he looked ashamed to make it.
The first one took me a few watches before I realised he wasn't saying Timmy
One day in the Big Town, Brum went to fill up with petrol. But when he got to the petrol station, there wasn't any fuel at all. "Those stupid lorries!" grumbled Brum. "They obviously don't care for little cars like me."
Ed fucking KILLED IT this episode.
For the Harry Potter one she should have said "the good news is I have learnt the spell fetus deletus"
Best episode yet 😂😂😂 they didnt hold back at all 😭😂
they held back a lot of quality boobage
Risky Chuckle joke. I’m amazed that the BBC even let that broadcast given that the Chuckle Brothers were on the network for years
This round was very good overall
i don't get it
Barry Chuckle died.
They also allowed Jimmy Savile to be on their network for years...
@@MMR_LM who is that
I don't think the audience has ever made such a sound on Mock the Week. That's a damn first where the audience's response was "Too soon".
Also an essentially British thing... given how many “explain the first joke” comments I’ve seen here.
"Today's episode of Sesame Street have been brought to you by the letters S, E, and X"
"And the number 69"
And K and Y
I cant believe that joke actually happened!
Which one?
The new Star Wars
That Paw Patrol joke at the end is underrated.
That first joke was a bit too far. Ed somehow didn’t get in trouble with BBC for it
I personally think it is right up there with the first one
@@jellyslopefall572 Frankie Boyle made WAY worse jokes back in the early days of MTW, the first Chuckle Brothers joke was pretty tame in comparison.
@@TheTradge them jokes still made laughs. The audience here was legit speechless and in shock
@@jellyslopefall572oh don’t be so pathetic and delicate. It’s a brilliant joke.
Lost it at Pingu! XD
This is an art attack.
This is an art attack.
Would ya fuckin’ help me, I’m ‘avin’ an ‘eart attack.
Hahaha, nice!
I thought he said timmy, When I found out from reading the comments, that f**kn hilarious
So Frankie Boyle can make jokes about Madeline McCann or Shannon Matthews disappearance and also joke about jade goody but yet Ed Gamble gets alot of hate for saying something To Me that was hilarious.
@Nik One of them died relatively recently.
I'm not from the UK. Can you explain the first joke, please?
It’s Ed Gamble not Campbell
I can’t see anyone getting offended
@@fatimartinez8365 The Chuckle brothers were a comedy double act (mostly for an audience of children) one of their catch phrases was:- One brother says "To me" the other replies "To you". But one of the brothers had recently died so the first phrase is left hanging.

After all, Sodor had been flogged off to Richard Branson.
In place of it they are showing Ronald the replacement bus
Damn it Ed, too soon! XD
Should have guessed it would get this dark given the thing chosen.
Did she just call the Krusty Krab the "crab shack"?
Ed. So savage, yet so funny!!! Never laughed so hard in ages..
Haha, me to i had pains in my ribs, so savage yet so funny.

Winnie: Rabbit perhaps you should push with your shoulder and not your fist.
Rabbit: don't worry about it.
That first one was so mean, I feel attacked
@Alan Cogan Glad you're feeling good about it.
"I am Amazon Prime. Deliveries, roll out"

I told the Kung Fu Panda joke to one of my coworkers and her brain pretty much melted.
Sheer brilliance. This show rocks
0:23 you know it’s a great joke because Robot Chicken used it.
1:44 is just the best
2:02 THIS PART BLEW MY MIND

Thomas the Tank Engine was very cross, A Romanian diesel engine came to Sodor and took his job.
I love the Pingu joke
3:27 It's plainly obvious that she's never seen Spongebob
All of his spongey mates at the Crab Shack.

That Quasimodo joke was taken from an Adam Ellis comic.
It’s funny cause at 2:52 she looks like dobby
Never thought I'd see a clip with Rhys and Ed on the same team
Wait, they’re not both Ed?

It’s your boi Chungus there was a comedy duo called The Chuckle Brothers, in their shows they would always say ‘to me, to you, to me, to you’, one of them died shortly before this episode was aired
That last one killed me.
Too soon Ed. Too Soon.

He should be put down
@@mtisya but that joke came out the wrong time.

Well, half of everyone. The other half just asks "What was that about Timmy?"
the chuckle brothers joke i-
Hello! This is blue peter. Its not a new episode though. They were all made earlier.
This show would still be good if every joke was on the same level as that first one.....
Any show would be good if every joke was on the same cosmic level as that first one!
Sadly, such a high standard show has never existed yet.
I don't think it will.
Thing is, that one needs context. And a lot of commentators here didn't have that context.
Fuck the first one stings!
Almost made me cry.
Ed Gamble's joke is Frankie Boyle standard.
Frankie’s jokes still made people laugh. Ed’s joke left everyone in shock
2:50 that wont go in
I did not get the "To me" joke.
Could someone please explain the "Timmy" joke/reference right at the start?
I'm Australian, so it's probably a reference I don't know about.
It's a reference to the Chuckle brothers, Paul and Barry, whose catchphrase was 'to me, to you'. One of them died, so it was only 'to me'.
2:50 fetus deletus
If you are not having an affair then whose squarepants are these
Im crying now
Please explain Ed Gamble's last joke? What does "a rolled-up A to Z" refer to?
An "A to Z" is a street directory, i.e. a hard-copy of Google maps for a particular area. It might be the heaviest thing some people have in their car to put an injured animal out of its misery.
@@wunnell Thank you!
I dont get the first one!
