Oh. Hell. Yes. That is simply awesome and the level of versatility surprised me! Another one where you looked like you had a blast and a perfect pairing with that amp too it has to be said! Absolutely lovely stuff- this one is a keeper!!!
This was just the Friedman by itself, and a little bit of the volante during the clean parts I think. I could do a pedal video but in this video almost nothing was used but the guitar and amp
as a lifelong tele player who always wanted to add a gibson to my collection, this is the guitar of my dreams and the only one i’ll ever need. has only gotten better with age, too.
@@AudiomoMusic one of these, got it in late 2020. the earlier ones were cool but the new pickups and being able to coil split is what made this a must have for me. mine is just over 9 pounds so not a light guitar, but it is so beautifully resonant and has only become more so after a few years.
Hey Jim👋🏼 Geez, that is a beauty👊🏼🎸🤘🎸 Btw...i'm gassing for a strat, found a 2009 ST72 MIJ, listed here in Switzerland for 650.-, Candy apple red, drool...waddya think?😁
@@AudiomoMusic There are several Ice Blue models available now, along with a sunburst, and a couple of black ones. I'm really digging your white one though. I might have to hold out and find one of those.
yeah I specifically meant the white, I rarely see them come up for sale and often times they are exorbitantly overpriced. I'm not sure if they changed the pickups from the first versions ( ice blue and tea ) and this one, but I don't remember them being anywhere near as impressive as the ones in this. If you dig the white look for a Japanese made one, it looks just like a version 1 ( no matching head stock or block inlays ), but the build and materials are all the same.
wow its like love at first site ..i have had my eyes on a ibanez PM or maybe a Eastmen L5 style but this tele seems to have a very versatile style the ability to play Jazz, Rock, Funl,or Fusion and it looks great, hmmm maybe i will hit lotto.
That's the weird thing about this, it still kind of sounds like a tele clean and can do all the things I typically do but obviously handles gain extremely well too. Love it.
thanks Cappy and the only reason I bought it was because I genuinely thought something was broken or wrong with it because the price was significantly less than what I typically see them sell for - lucked out!
I got the “Kingfish” signature Tele which was specced similar, i. e. stopbar tailpiece, humbuckers, Tele deluxe stuff. I just could never bond with it. I think that I was expecting or wanting something else in the sound/tones.
I 100% get what you mean. I felt the same way about the PRS guitars I've bought, perhaps I bought them thinking I would be able to get a Gibson sound and they just never did because well - they are PRS haha. We live and learn I suppose
Yeah this is the us spec second version, main difference between the MIJ and this is the pickups. The ones in these are absolutely better by some margin to my ears. MIJ build quality and feel is right on par with it.
I just love the big headstocks...🥰
It doesn't work on all Fenders but this guitar and a few others would look wrong without them hahah
Oh. Hell. Yes. That is simply awesome and the level of versatility surprised me! Another one where you looked like you had a blast and a perfect pairing with that amp too it has to be said! Absolutely lovely stuff- this one is a keeper!!!
I knew you'd love this one too, I've been so lucky lately but this is just a cherry on top!
Sounds awesome. I love the block inlays too.
It's always classy to see the big blocks on Fender guitars
That a NICE/BEAUTIFUL GUITAR 🎸& Sounds Good Too 🎶 Thanks For Sharing ✌
Thanks Patrick, I was worried it wouldn't play/sound as great as it looks but I'm very happy to have been wrong
That's awesome, the heavy stuff you play sounds incredible, you're an amazing player!
You're way too kind John, but I appreciate it
awesome playing. rarely see you play something like this. those guitar are great.
That's the fun of it all, just going for it out of your comfort zone and enjoying the moment
@@AudiomoMusic could you make a pedal video that you are using just now. sound interesting and good.
This was just the Friedman by itself, and a little bit of the volante during the clean parts I think. I could do a pedal video but in this video almost nothing was used but the guitar and amp
@@AudiomoMusic no boost pedal as well? that is one fine sounding amp and guitar. not to forget the player playing it too hehehe.
it is so strange to see you go from normal funk playing to that extremely aggressive heavy playing but you pulled it off!
between the friedman amp and the guitar itself it just kinda came out haha
as a lifelong tele player who always wanted to add a gibson to my collection, this is the guitar of my dreams and the only one i’ll ever need. has only gotten better with age, too.
That's awesome! Do you have one of these or the first run versions?

The palm muting 👊
It's tons of fun, rarely do I play a guitar that gets me to go for it but man it's a joy and reminds me of being a kid haha
@@AudiomoMusic were you playing punk or metal as a kid?
Punk all day. It actually came in handy when I got older and into funk playing haha
What a fantastic video I actually enjoyed it to be honest
Not my style of guitar but I love how much you enjoyed it, when an Axe just feels soo good. There's nothing like it. Fun video!
I 100% agree, sometimes when it just feels right there really is nothing like it. Wasn't expecting to like this one as much as I did haha

Love the big headstocks, sounds like a good price give it a try!
@@AudiomoMusic 🙏🏼👍
I love that music
Thanks Rich man it's fun just turn on the gain and have at it
I've been thinking about a new tele, this one might be it. Thanks for the dope video man!
If you can find one id 100% say go for it

I remember really wanting one after Trog’s review. Nice score hope it wasn’t to much, lol.

Telecaster bodies look SOOOOOOO much better with a Stratocaster headstock.
It was the one guitar I missed my chance on. Ice Blue Metallic, used at my fav LGS. Sold as I was calling in to ask to see it.
They are really uncommon to find especially at reasonable prices, I hope you do manage to try one at some point. I really was taken aback with it.
@@AudiomoMusic I wonder if the Made in Japan Troublemakers are any good :D
I've owned two, and even demo'd one on this channel :)
@@AudiomoMusic Will check the backlog then! Thanks!
I'm liking this a whole lot! And sometimes there's just something about a filthy amp and HBs that make you wanna go chugga-chugga! 😄
Even me, Mr. clean funk could not resist the chuggs hahahah
I still don’t get how fender doesn’t add this or a variation of it to its rotation. Guitar looks good on you!
They will point to the KingFish tele and say that's it. A shame it doesn't have anywhere near the same mojo of this one haha
@@AudiomoMusic I agree

I've never seen a Les Paul with 6-inline tuners. 😅
That actually has a chance at staying in tune no less!
@@AudiomoMusic Right 🤣🤣
Not a fender fan but this looks awesome. Sounded good to.
Thanks David appreciate it man!
Did you enjoy that?!!!!
what gave it away? hahahahah
