@@tmvijayalakshmi2896 Good to hear from you in Kerala! Thanks for watching my videos. I'm sorry to hear about your husband's health. Hello Dr , I would really appreciate some guidance. I have my share of digestive issues . In great shape other than that . Are you taking new clients ? And if so ? Are you located in Georgia?
I'm thrilled to find a Dr of natural medicine than all of these other doctors who have no clue about natural solutions. I was told years ago from my wonderful Indian Doctor that I must go all natural, because of terrible side affects from all drugs. He also said that I have arthritis through my lower back and spine and also my chiropractor took a x-ray of my spine and it showed a crooked spine and other problems. What has helped me for many years is doing a light bounce on a rebounder and also on a vibration machine. Many people can't do a lot of exercise but could jump on a rebounder, which is fantastic for the whole immune system. I hope this will help many precious people especially if they have fatty liver issues jumping on a rebounder is fantastic for this health issue besides diet. I don't expect a responce but I can tell you that these things work for your health etc.
Excellent teachings: microbiome, digestive enzymes, green leafy vegetables, 500 mg of calcium everyday, magnesium. D3, mk7, multivitamin, exercises, heal the gut, salt. reduce stress... Thank you Dr. We learn a lot from you. Your videos are peaceful, joyful, giving is hope, not scaring us with sick, scary pictures of sick people.
I’m a negative 3.2 hip & -3.5 spine. My DEXA from 2022. I’ve compression fractured up and down my spine. Every spine specialist I’ve seen says I need to take bone meds. Less than 2 years ago I could stand and walk straight. I’m so afraid to take any pharmaceutical bone medication.
This was the best explanation of osteoporosis I have seen. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis before menopause when I was 48. I am binge watching all your videos.
1st time here. This video is a keeper. Thank You. I'm 58 and do 100 jumping jacks at least twice a week. I eat a whole food diet now. I'm 4 years off drugs and alcohol and cigarettes. I can whip a jump rope, hopefully I can learn some cool jump rope moves with my feet before I croak. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. My goal is 100 loops un interrupted.Right now 75 makes me proud. Cheers to bone health and bone density. 1st time in my life I care about me.
Please go out and buy yourself a rebounder. This is way better than doing jumping jacks on a floor or outside which will wear down your joints. I can testify how it really does help and also it helps your whole immune system. Please don't take my word for it look it up. I'am 74 and care.
I Appreciate your efforts for making such an informative video. You are one of the few genuine doctor who really cares for people and tries to show the root cause of the disease. The way you explain is really peaceful.Thank you Doc. God bless you.
Really wonderful video thank you so much. Just had dexa scan hip -2.9 my Dr suggests Prolea I am on anti acid tablets and am worried about going on it. Do you think taking a higher dose of D3 and calcium will be enough? I do exercise 3 days a week which includes weights.
This video summarizes hundreds of hours I’ve spent researching this throughout the 15 years I’ve had osteoporosis! Thank you! The only thing I would add is that I’ve seen top specialists at UCSF and they did agree that hormone replacement therapy was the best treatment for my osteoporosis - particularly since I had early menopause. Plus, HRT is neuroprotective and heart protective. I’ll check out your video on HRT next. Your videos are incredibly easy to understand- and so holistic. Thank you again!

I am 66 years old. I have osteoporosis. My last DEXA showed a decline two years ago. I finally decided to go on Prolia. My next DEXA is scheduled for next February. If there is no improvement, what would be your recommendation? I exercise five days per week, I take a probiotic, I worked with a dietitian to get my microbiome on track (I do have some SIBO and Leaky Gut), and I eat leafy greens and try very hard to eliminate gluten and dairy. I do have hypothyroidism and take Levothyroxine. The only thing I haven't tried is hormone replacement. I am 5'1/2 inches tall and weigh 98 lbs. I used to weigh 103 lbs. I love your videos. I did Prolia for almost three years when my doctor finally discovered the 2000 calcium he told me to take daily. Well when osteoporosis got worse instead of better he ordered xray with bone density. The X-ray showed the calcium went to my main aorta of the heart and caused an aneurysm of 4.5. He was angry I stopped it and couldn’t take foxamax as it killed my stomach. I know take lots of d3, I have white skin and had melanoma so been warned not to go in sun. Seems it’s hard for me to get my D 3 high as it should be. I keep increasing. I take k2/m7, and magnesium. Other vitamins but not calcium.

Greetings from Denmark. What is your opinion about red algae calcium? Is it safe to take that will not build calcium up in the arteries, etc? Your answer is very much appreciated.
As long as you're taking K2, it helps to ensure the supplemental calcium will be directed to your bones and not your coronary arteries. Thanks for watching and great to hear from you in Denmark!

Recently had a DEXA bone density scan w/disappointing results. I take every supplement you recommended as well as having a good diet, consistent exercise & mid-range Calcium lab results. I suspect my Dr will want to increase Calcium (currently on 300 mg daily) or prescribe RX. Is there a concern about taking too much Calcium?
But I also realize that there are many other factors that are contributing to this severe osteoporosis diagnosis, as your patient scenario illustrated. Thanks for this informative video!

Yes lemon juice with water is anti-inflammatory and good for the body. But rinse your mouth with regular water at the end to protect your dental enamel.
Some people are sensitive to oxalates in spinach and chard, but not everyone. If this the case, you can eat low-oxalate greens like arugula for example.

I have history of kidney stones. Is calcium citrate preferred over MCHC calcium hydroxyapatite? I found a research study that stated reservations about taking calcium hydroxyapatite. What is your recommendation?
Usually the problem in kidney stones is not calcium, but oxalates (found in foods like spinach, chard, almonds). Citrate present in Calcium or Magnesium citrate helps bind the oxalates and prevent kidney stones. Thanks so much for watching! 😊

I'm 59 and had a Dexa scan last year given my mother and grandmother had osteoporosis, and it shows I have osteopenia.

Hi DR,
Kale, chard, spinach have oxalic acid that prevent our body to absorb calcium. Is it right or wrong? Thank you.
No, the Oxalates do not inhibit calcium absorption.

Oops - re-watched your video & realize I need to increase my Calcium!
But I also realize that there are many other factors that are contributing to this severe osteoporosis diagnosis, as your patient scenario illustrated. Thanks for this informative video!

Thank you dr for the great video! ❤ Could you please explain if drinking lemon juice is good for OP?
Yes lemon juice with water is anti-inflammatory and good for the body. But rinse your mouth with regular water at the end to protect your dental enamel.
Kindly make it slower

Can you say something about dark leafy greens and oxylates which prevent absorption of calcium Thank you
Some people are sensitive to oxalates in spinach and chard, but not everyone. If this the case, you can eat low-oxalate greens like arugula for example.
great video, you should think about training oncologists they know nothing about natural treatments

How much prunes do you recommend daily please?
Only 3 prunes/ day is needed as per the study. It's best after a meal so that it won't spike your blood sugar.
Would you recommend going through institute of functional medicine or some other platform/method to find a funtional medicine practitioner?
Yes! IFM.org
Is it safe to take Shelcal K

I take 5,000 vitaman d every day with K2 and my VITAMIN D, 25-HYDROXY lab level was 53 ng/mL (normal range shows 20 to 79 ng/mL). I'm 59 and had a Dexa scan last year given my mother and grandmother had osteoporosis, and it shows I have osteopenia. I'm curious if you would recommend I try to increase my vitamin d levels or if my level of 53 is sufficient.
Yes optimal level is 60-80 ng/mL. So you could increase it slightly. Thanks for watching and best wishes in your health!
