Please can you tell me if there is any kind of test that I can get done to find out if I have been affected by living in damp and black mould overgrowth, home for a dacade. Is there any particular tests that will show how much our health has been affected by living in such environment. So we can find good cure once we know the root cause and diagnose what is causing the symptoms like headaches chronic fatigue and memory problems.
I am 75, and feel better than in my 40s. No meds, no aches or pain. Never had any surgeries or hospitalizations. Eat wisely, and exercise regularly. Keep negative people at arms length, and live a life of gratitude.

Same here.. slowly becoming one! I want to research longevity. Life is too short. I am 25, which means I'm 33% through my life. I may still be called young by older people, but by no means do I feel like I have all the time left. Because I don't. Time never stops. This is my main motivator, and I hope to affect as many people as I can with research. Important stuff!
I’m sure I am aging backwards. At 65 I was horrible and sleeping 4 hrs in the middle of the day. Fat and all metabolic markers were way out of range. But when my Pre Diabetes had advanced to #2 diabetes, that got my attention. Today at 75 I feel great and my metabolic health proves it. 80 lbs gone and I ride a electric Unicycle for transportation and I high intensity sprint. And listen to Doctors like you!

Unknowingly following your advices so far like eating veg food, sleeping, interacting with a network of relatives and friends friends, moderate exercise on bed only for1 hr daily etc. I am glad as you confirmed my habits are good in your seminar.Thanks Dr.

I watched dozens of SIBO videos and I discover Dr. Nambudripad's videos which are the ones that makes more sense than any other. I watched her SIBO/IBS/SIFO video's and her giddiness is what has been working for me, unfortunately I am on antibiotics at the moment since I my issues got to a significant level. Now I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and hopping that there is no severe damage after antibiotics. Thank you for these amazing videos Dr Rajsree. Now, I need to start thinking on supplements and pre/probiotics, the question is, how am I going to know that these products are good quality? Please, no offense, but I bought so much product and nothing work that now, I am so skeptical of everything. Maybe nothing work because I was doing everything wrong until this channel .... It's the worst when you appear older than your peers. 2 years ago, I attended my paternal cousin's marriage. My cousin and I share many physicial resemblances and, we can easily pass by as siblings. At the wedding ceremony, many of the groom's relatives and friends assumed that I am her older brother despite the fact that I am 6 years younger to her. I look much older than my real age. It wasn't a problem at school because I was the "big boy" but as I am getting older, it's becoming a major problem.
Best video on "health span" I've seen. Very comprehensive. One question. Why are some Keto advocates pushing the notion that legumes (beans, peanuts, etc.) and whole grains (oats, wheat, etc.) cause leaky gut and the diseases associated with it? But we see that beans and whole grains are popular in the blue zones.
Thanks for watching and great question! It comes down to individual sensitivity. For some people, whole grains and legumes are harder to digest and cause bloating and gut irritation (due to lectins).

Great video! It covers practically all the many angles. I pretty much do all the things in this video and feel like half my age (70). I would only add that I get out early in my day to get the morning sunlight which has been key to my circadian rhythm and great sleep.
Excellent summary of the biology of aging! The most comprehensive I have seen. You are definitely not a typical medical doctor. Most M.D.s are not very knowledgeable about biological gerontology, or even more general biochemistry and physiology outside of their specialty. If all doctors were as informed as you people would be much healthier.

Some of the Blue Zones eat fish. I agree Fish is a healthy part of the mediterranean diet that has proven to be one of the better diets for heart health.

Clearly the OVERWHELMINGLY SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT factor here by a factor of 100X for anti-aging is to be wealthy. Think of all the time and costs to do these tests and keep up with this. The reality is that for those struggling to earn a living in this world, diet, exercise, sleep (and all these other wonderful supplemental anti-aging techniques) are the FIRST casualties. So my friends, be rich to live long.
When I was in Jordan for my birthday in April this year people thought that I was 40 or so. Most of them were on my tour. Well I turned 67. A few months earlier I was in Peru at 4000 metres altitudes. Many people that were between 50 and 56 had problems breething with a few of them ending up on Oxygen in hospital. Not only I did not have issues with breething but on our day off in Cusco I went to the Rainbow Mt. I thought there was a bus taking us very close. Not close enough though. We stlill had to walk up the mountin the hardest steep side. The young ones were taking horses to do it for them but I like a challenge. It was the hardest thing I have ever done, harder than giving birth too. But I did it. 5100 metres. No oxygen. I was so proud of myself I cried when I was back in the car, and under my sunglasses. The young girl, our guide thought I was in my late 40s. Most people were quite young in the group. I think I owe this to going to gym classes 3 times a week and taking one hour walks the days I was not working as Live in carer. Also to drinking 2 mugs of hot cacao daily which they say it crosses the blood brain barrier. Deyermination was from my life experiences of course. Do your best in every situation and you will always be happy.

Thanks for a very informative and useful video. I am a bit confused about the vegetarian diet. A while ago, I read a study in BMJ, which showed increased risk of stroke in vegetarians. Just wondering about your thoughts on this.
I am no doctor so my knowledge is limited. I heard from study that meat giving higher cancer was inconclusive. For some reason people who smoke eat more meat relative to vegetables (Vegetarian). When the smokers were removed from the equation there were no difference in cancer mortality meat vs. vegetables. Tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and white potatoes are nightshades which is in the same family as solanaceae, which also includes tobacco, belladonna and mandrake isn't considered healthy? They can cause inflammation which is gives you ulcers which can lead to cancer. Also your body absorbs more protein from meat compared to vegetables. Protein is the building block for your body. Why would your body absorb more protein from meat roughly 20% higher than plants?
Fasting when you are older causes you to lose muscle mass rapidly and you cannot replace it. The latest study shows that calorie restriction is the driver for autophagy and if you restrict branched chain amino acids through calorie restriction..it doesnt matter when...or how often..you eat food.
I am doing great with my life style. Great nutrition, spirituality and appreciating life. Mature life is great when healthy and seeing life being a gift. Longevity without a positive and joyful living is not good. Many are suffering even though they live long into their 90's... The important thing is to live a healthy and happy life. Great video! It covers practically all the many angles. I pretty much do all the things in this video and feel like half my age (70). I would only add that I get out early in my day to get the morning sunlight which has been key to my circadian rhythm and great sleep.

Excellent summary of the biology of aging! The most comprehensive I have seen. You are definitely not a typical medical doctor. Most M.D.s are not very knowledgeable about biological gerontology, or even more general biochemistry and physiology outside of their specialty. Clearly the OVERWHELMINGLY SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT factor here by a factor of 100X for anti-aging is to be wealthy. Think of all the time and costs to do these tests and keep up with this. When I was in Jordan for my birthday in April this year people thought that I was 40 or so. Most of them were on my tour.
Well I turned 67.
A few months earlier I was in Peru at 4000 metres altitudes.
Many people that were between 50 and 56 had problems breething with a few of them ending up on Oxygen in hospital.
Not only I did not have issues with breething but on our day off in Cusco I went to the Rainbow Mt.
I thought there was a bus taking us very close. Not close enough though.
We stlill had to walk up the mountin the hardest steep side.
The young ones were taking horses to do it for them but I like a challenge.
It was the hardest thing I have ever done, harder than giving birth too.
But I did it.
5100 metres.
No oxygen.
I was so proud of myself I cried when I was back in the car, and under my sunglasses.
The young girl, our guide thought I was in my late 40s.
Most people were quite young in the group.
I think I owe this to going to gym classes 3 times a week and taking one hour walks the days I was not working as Live in carer.
Also to drinking 2 mugs of hot cacao daily which they say it crosses the blood brain barrier.
Deyermination was from my life experiences of course.
Do your best in every situation and you will always be happy.

Thanks for a very informative and useful video. I am a bit confused about the vegetarian diet. A while ago, I read a study in BMJ, which showed increased risk of stroke in vegetarians. Just wondering about your thoughts on this.

I do not eat any vegetables that have pesticides sprayed on them
I am no doctor so my knowledge is limited. I heard from study that meat giving higher cancer was inconclusive. For some reason people who smoke eat more meat relative to vegetables (Vegetarian). When the smokers were removed from the equation there were no difference in cancer mortality meat vs. vegetables. Tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and white potatoes are nightshades which is in the same family as solanaceae, which also includes tobacco, belladonna and mandrake isn't considered healthy? They can cause inflammation which is gives you ulcers which can lead to cancer.
Also your body absorbs more protein from meat compared to vegetables. Protein is the building block for your body. Why would your body absorb more protein from meat roughly 20% higher than plants?

Fasting when you are older causes you to lose muscle mass rapidly and you cannot replace it. The latest study shows that calorie restriction is the driver for autophagy and if you restrict branched chain amino acids through calorie restriction..it doesnt matter when...or how often..you eat food.
