I'm 61 and broke my hip 2 1/2 years ago. I gained weight and became less mobile and just gave in to it. I've recently lost 25 lbs and started to move more and desire to take my life back. I want to make an effort to get up, get dressed, do my makeup and hair. Your videos inspire me to do better.

Now, at 83, I think back to what my mother said when she was 99. I had asked her how old she felt inside. She replied, "18." The older we age, the more we feel comfortable in our skin. Today we have beauty tips to help us look a bit more like we really feel.

Good morning ! I enjoy your posts and approaching 93 in 3 months I continue to learn about makeup for my age group. I lost my husband suddenly 15 months ago after 73 years of marriage life has certainly changed. Thank God for his blessings each day. Keep up the great job.

I’m in my late 70s and live in Northern California and most women in my area in their early or late retirement years seem to be embracing their old age rather than trying to defy it. Women cease coloring their hair early on and don’t wear makeup but do place an importance there on health and fitness. I feel that looking as attractive as possible is a gift to people who we come into contact with and helps boost our own confidence. We should strive for both good health and take pride in our appearance. You are inspiring and I hope more older women find your channel.

Patti…at 71 years young, I so dearly appreciate the fabulous community of over 60 content creators. I do have some younger ladies that I truly enjoy on RUclips, but I feel like I better absorb content from you and your fellow lovelies. Life is an ever changing, “ nailing the jello to the wall” adventure. I feel like with each candle added to the cake, the goal posts keep moving on how to take the best care of me that I can. I do believe for me , the focus shifted to being the healthiest, best version of myself to live my best life. I do use makeup on most days, but that is because I feel better when I present the best version of me as I go through my days. So glad you are giving these amazing women a well-deserved shout out. You and Nanny are such amazing women and I love having roll models like you for navigating the coming waters. Do take good care and thank you for all that you do and give to all of us.❤💄😊

I've been afraid of aging because of what social media says we are supposed to look like a 25 year old for the rest of our lives, but when I see you looking so beautiful and being so proud of reaching a certain age and wearing it like a badge of honor it uplifts me and gives me a new perspective. I am 84, we’ll not until December. Have two daughters that help to keep me young, won’t talk about my three sons😂. Everyday I put my makeup on , feel good about myself. Have many wrinkles, but many people don’t see me that way. A happy spirit and appreciation of life has a lot to do about a youthful appearance.

Thank you, Patti. When the young ones would ask my Mama how it felt to be old, she would say "you'll have to ask somebody older than me". :) She lived to 91.

I also watch Little Poet. I did not know Diane Gilman started a channel but I do know I have about 15 pairs of her jeans and jackets which I love.

Hi Patti. I don’t comment often but I always look forward to your videos. I’m 63 and so appreciate mature skin, makeup, clothing and lifestyle choices I have. As I embark on my new skincare and makeup routine, I’ve made sone recent changes that I love and see results from. I appreciate you and putting yourself out there. I have an art page which I’ve recently put on hold right now but I know how the comments can make a difference and you have to be a strong confident woman doing this. I’m embarking on a new life. Bought a house on SC moving soon from NY out of the snow. I am realizing how much junk I’ve accumulated and how much longer it takes me now to go through and donate items I no longer use. Things get a little harder for sure but you being a new light to things. Thank you.

Patti...I adore you! and have been watching you for a few years now. I turned 70 in June. I have always been a "girly girl" and my two living sisters have never been into make up or fashion. My girly sister passed away this year and I miss exchanging girly things with her (among other things of course). So it's nice to be able to tune into your videos and see someone one 70+ talking about make-up, fashion, and looking so beautiful while enjoying life to the fullest. Hi Patti, I love your channel and never miss any of your videos. I was introduced to Nanny and the Moose`s channel through your recommendation and I love them. They make excellent use of their small adobe cottage. They have an amazing view and their flower garden is well tended to and beautiful. Nanny is a very talented lady in many areas and offers good advice to the young and old. I myself am 84 years old and a breast cancer survivor of 7 years this coming January. I had a mastectomy, but refused any other treatment , because of my age. I wanted to live the rest of my life in peace and not the suffering side effects the treaments cause. Since that decision, I have been blessed to see several grand children get married and my first great grandchild born, and the second one to be born within 4 weeks from now. So far I`ve been experiencing good health, with only aches and pains expected with the age process...You ladies are a great inspiration to all who view your channels. I jnow you are to me. I am 71 and have been following you for a couple of years! My content is cooking simple foods to teach my young teen granddaughter,to cook so when I am not hear anymore she will feel close to me and know I am here with her in spirit and know a bit of our culture and dishes!
