- I've been using Isaiah Rivera's vertical jump program for about 4 1/2 months, and these are my results! I am 34 years old now, and jumping higher than I have in about 3 years, and my body is feeling better than it has in a long time.
Check out what they have to offer at www.thpstrength.com

Go for it man. I am almost 39 but I still train cause it's my way of life. So I always say just do your best and who knows maybe you will be surprised 😁
I’m just finding this review. But I’m currently 34, and this gave me the confidence to try this program out, especially after getting my legs back to a place where I can take on a workout load after having a number of knee injuries, thanks for this and congrats on the gains!
i'm 5'8 trying to dunk by the end of the year, I would definitely try THP after I end up my program because I think they really are the best in this field
if you can afford it, it's definitely worth the investment
Did you end up dunking by the end of the year??
How did it go?
Awesome progress Billy! Look forward to seeing you hit some crazy dunks at camp!
Hey, I hope you'll stay with thp. Can't wait to see you progress even more.
I’m on the THP program!!! Been on it since Sept or October of 2020 and I’m grabbing a 10’5.5 ft rim. And pushing to get higher💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾.
lets go!
how many inches u get from it?
How are you doing now? Should be 11ft or better
You not old bruh. Just the injuries. Turned 35 this year and I am gone dunk on somebody one day. Can't dunk now but the list is long😂😂😂. Keep doing what you do. One love😇😇😇 I enjoy it. Glad you popped up in my feed. I try to watch them when I can😎😎😎
Wait you can windmill with only a few inches below the wrist extra of height? Man I gotta try some windmills then.
ya, my technique is pretty good. gotta be able to get some good speed into the windmill...I also think I might be able to get slightly higher than the mark on my arm
@@DunkademicsOfficial yeah that's true your technique is pretty dialed
Just think of it like this: when you do a one hand dunk, you're jumping, and then keeping your arms straight until you get above the rim...
If you have enough time to do a windmill motion on the way up, instead of just staying straight...then u might be able to get it!
I mean if ur technique and timing is good enough you can probably east bay even with only 6’ over the rim
@@unknownpotato4140 definitely not. You need 6 inches above the rim to do a 1 hander. Definitely not an easy bay. Both billy and Isaiah have said most dunkers get their first eastbay and their first honey dip around the same time. That means they get their whole elbow at the rim to eastbay. And then personally I touch 11'6 and I can't do either but I think I could grind out a windmill with better technique. You're way off man
Yo I'm 38 bro and I'm getting back into dunking. I'm going to try this program. Jordan Sutherland should do a dunking program for the one foot jumper. I grab the rim and dunk a tennis ball a few day along. Gaining 3 to 5 inches should get me there. Peace brother
Go for it! Look up Andy Nicholson (the guy who runs The Dunk Camp) he got his first dunk at like 44 years old, and is still trying to dunk at 48, so you still have time!
THP is definitely a great option!
Jordan Southerland has one. I bought it (only $10) a month, I mean it gives a good list of solid workouts but that’s it. There’s no set reps/sets or what to do Monday-Sunday. Literally just a list of workouts/stretches. Kind of half assed IMO but you can check it out 🤷♂️
Very honest review
Edit: my phone is also a spider web
Hey I want to get some predictions before I start working out! So I want to hear how high you think my vert will go up in 1 and a half years. I do have good jumping genetics do to the fact that I am 5’11-5’11 wingspan and can dunk of a good self alley. Keep in mind I have never lifted a weight in my life other than playing basketball a lot. I have around a 31 inch vert, how much could I improve my vert in that amount of time if I put in full effort? I have just turned 15 by the way!
I think you could eventually get to 40+ if you stay healthy, and continue to work hard....not sure how long it will take tho
These prices for the program are insane. I can afford it as a softwar engineer, but in a recession how are regular folks gonna justify $100 a month for Isaiah's program? Sheesh.
most "regular folks" throw away $100/month on things way less valuable than a full workout program.
you also gotta look at it relative to other things in the fitness industry...like a personal trainer might charge $100+ just for a one hour training session. With Isaiah, you're getting a full month of workouts planned out for you. And you KNOW Isaiah's workouts are good
what was your squat before hand and your squat now I know they focus a ton on strength work...
I really don’t know if it’s worth it, the gym I live near is really bad, I do not have access to a car yet, so I can’t go too far from where I live. My gym lacks things a regular gym should have especially things that benefit vertical jumping, I am 5’8 touching back board, about 2-3 inches from touching rim and about 10 inches to a foot away from dunking. I really want to hit a dunk but I know without a good gym, it could take about 1 year to see the same progress I would get if I had weights and was training for 4 months
Idk if it was the program that or just dunking with your dog Alex Ardizzone - really hard to say
This is why I train with them
You should make more dunk videos of your self. You are good
Yo bro could you try out PJF vert code elite and get ur thoughts on it? I’m on that program rn
I'm going to stick with THP for a while, but we'll see about the future
35 is not old. Wait until your 60.
it's old in terms of peak jumping ability
would you say it is worth it for a 16 year old?
yup. I wish I would have had this at 16
Is Tyler Currie 5’11 with shoes ????
Pretty interesting.... how tall are you?
5’11”. The rim I’ve been dunking on is 9’9”. Gonna try to move it up soon
@@DunkademicsOfficial I'm the exact same height but i'm 42.
I don't have the motivation to go too far out of my way with specific training programs, but if there were 2 or 3 things you think would make the most difference what would they be? (Apart from just jumping and stretching)
Heavy squats? Something like that? Thanks.
@@DrWeird-zw5dc do heavy legs twice a week and maybe one jump day a week
Can you see if Mikey does have a 46 inch vertical because I think he has a 40 max
he doesn't have a 46....definitely lower
I can get my wrist to touch the rim but i cant dunk off of dribble but i can off of the backboard any tips to dunk off dribble
lots of repetition...maybe strengthen your upper body
@@DunkademicsOfficial aight preciate it i do need to gain weight tho im 6,3 and 150
Noice
So doing the same thing someone that is a professional at what they do did to become a pro works?
Neat
Well, ya...especially with dunking. A lot of dunkers are just naturally gifted athletes, who didn't have to "train" their vertical aside from just dunking and playing basketball.
But the average person needs to strength train to increase their vertical.
Other jump programs are either scams, or have a few good workouts, but aren't optimal for increasing your vertical
Yessir
How high do u think my vert can be?
a lot of different factors go into it.
what are you at right now? how old are you? do you have good genetics? and how hard are you going to work?
Gravity is a bit too much on earth
Did your squat go up??
I recently did a 305lb half squat, and I had never done any kind of squat over like 235
Let's go
Bro, can 170 cm dunk?
with training , sure.
But do you really know the secret sauce...?
Dunkademics T-Shirts! lol
I play at 24 hour with you🤣 go to the same gym. Would be dope if you could help me with my vert🙏🏽.
I could give a few tips for sure, but if you're really serious about trying to jump higher, you should consider this program! thpstrength.com
stop clowning on Dexton you're a clown for clowning him
what does that make you?
@@DunkademicsOfficial dexton is good basketball player i don't like that he clowned him smh
