  • My 6 month progress on the THP strength's "Program" as I said last time it's more of a coaching service.
    Looking forward to spending another 6 months on the program and seeing the results after 1 year!

    You got hops dude! I'm 5'4 with a standing reach of 7'3-4 and a max reach of 9'7-8. I was gonna pick THP strengths program this year but it's a lil pricey, but ik the price will pay off bcs it's probably the best program you'll ever come across, great coaches, great scientists, and they can really get you jumping high. So I went with pjfperformance's program(just started, on my first week), 2nd or 3rd best vertical program along with overtime athletes. I hope to come back to this comment and say I've gained a lot from the program. Keep doing what you doing bro, see you soon! 🙏

    That’s pretty good I run 4.06 was my last 30 meters ago in broken shoes at 175lbs currently 165lbs are running vertical is about the same. Highest I touched is 10”7(37 inches) but I can hit my head on 9”2 so(42 inches) if I’m jumping with my head. Great stuff keep it up ! I’m currently fixing my jump form I only use a lil quad and my calf’s to jump. Trying to make my body engage my glutes and hamstrings instead. I assume it’ll give me a 4-8 inch increase in my max vertical.

      I don't really have a specific number but I know I touched the bottom of a 9'4 rim so maybe like a 9'3.5 touch. At the time I think I was like 5'3 and had a reach between 6'10 and 7 foot so like 27.5" to maybe like 30".

      maybe... but if you don't try you'll never know! my advice would be if you're serious about this then you should really pour a lot of your time into this cause it's not impossible with hard smart work! I'd recommend getting a coach (THP is what I use) but that's only if you're serious about this as its a lot of money to just throw at something that is half hearted! Good luck regardless (and lmk how it goes)

    • @camyjumps
      @camyjumps  2 года назад +1

      nahhh it's just flight time, I got mine second hand on eBay it called "robotics just jump jump mat" it uses flight time to calculate vertical. it adds about 90ms to the actual flight time though cause of mat sensitivity!

    Hello, over the last several months I have increased my back squat over 30 lbs, I have increased my vertical from 25 to 30 inches, and i am 5 foot 8 at 17 years old, I have been sprinting training consistently 2-3 times a week for several months, however I have not seen really any improvement in my sprint times ( 40m) I have been doing only regular sprints and not resisted, and I would usually do repeats of 40 m before my leg workout on that day. Do you have tips for me as to why this may be and how you would suggest to fix this issue from your experience and from how you improved your times. Please let me know!

    • @camyjumps
      @camyjumps  3 года назад

      Probably cause you don't jump a lot. who would jump higher? someone that has jumped 10,000 times or someone that has jumper 100 times. more reps = more efficient motor pattern firing, more motor unit recruitment, tendon elasticity and lots more.
