funny how first y'all come up with a possibility of a collab with Joe from Be Smarter and now y'all got NautiStyles on the channel! Loved it, I hope there're more collabs coming!
Because of the indepth research we've seen you do for a myriad of subjects, I really feel comfortable in just how reliable this daily supplement must be. And it comes at a point where I've just decided I wanted to look into finding a good quality product for myself. Thank you for doing the legwork on finding a fantastic product to incorporate into my ongoing quest to improve the physical quality of my life (after experiencing a long downtime due to medical conditions). Not only do I look forward to Sunday mornings to catch your videos for enjoyment, but I'm now also finding information that will benefit my personal health! Thank you ever so much for choosing this lifestyle adventure as SO many of us benefit in so many ways from it! Happy sails. 🥰
Only one problem with Floriduh, it's sinking....so those $2+million homes in and around Miami are soon to be underwater if they don't float....IMHO....
I love following the Nauti channels.... they are a great couple with a lot of knowledge on the boating lifestyle. And the Wynns did a great job with this video - the layout, the presentation, the questions, etc.
So what you're saying is if I ever have a humongous stack of paper I need to staple, all I need to do is buy the yacht so I could use its staples with a giant stapler and then keep the rest of it for a trip to the Bahamas...got it 😂 seriously though, they weren't lying when they said this tour would be detailed. This was great! Gotta say though, a trip to South Florida isn't complete without some good Cuban cuisine or at least a cafecito! A cafecito is some of the strongest stuff on Earth.
Fort Lauderdale fun fact: The City of Fort Lauderdale is named for a Second Seminole War fortification built on the banks of the New River in 1838. That year, Major William Lauderdale led a detachment of Tennessee Volunteers south along the east coast of Florida to capture Seminole agricultural lands and battle the Seminole warriors. William Lauderdale also participated in the War of 1812. As nice as that looks, I'm sticking with the 260-foot party luxury yacht I already have. You're always invited to come on board if you're ever in northeastern Asia
Really enjoyed this. Getting opposing points of view is refreshing. I love both of your channels, so this was a pleasant surprise & I'm not even a boater.
This was so ENLIGHTENING! I had never thought about boating like this or living on a boat versus a home in what I would call “paradise”. Thank you for putting this vid together. I’m super stoked to see this other channel too! Take care!
This was a great video however as a Realtor, I will say that a condo or house will only go up in value in time, a yacht does the opposite and the price of dockage and gas and maintenance is pretty pricey on a yacht so price wise I would say that a Condo or House is a much smarter option if you are looking at it from a price point of view but outside of that, that is a beautiful yacht and that’s great that they can afford and enjoy living on a yacht. Btw I’m going based off of the yacht they have now, the last yacht they had that was around $200k, that right there sounds much more realistic however, the same concept goes, in time it will go down and you might not be able to find a $200k house but you have more than enough for a down payment on a $500k-$700k house that will only grow equity each month versus a yacht that will lose value every month. Pretty much if you are trying to figure out what is financially smarter, a house is always the way to go but if you can afford to live on a yacht then and not have to worry about it making money for you instead of losing money for you then that’s great.
Exactly. These people are very deceptive.. The motor Yacht is a luxury that; a 60, 80 ft yacht to live bought new or used (let's say you paid 2million for a used) will go down in value no matter what. And the wear and tear will add to the very Hight maintains cost over a luxury condo worth $400,000 (a commodity that is a true necessity). The Condo is a necessity and a necessity that will grow in value.. however not the yacht, the yacht is a luxury to live, to experience an alternative lifestyle, something most humans aren't able to experience or grasp such different living conditions.
Thank you all for gathering in this video. I've been a dedicated viewer of both channels for a long time, so it brings me immense joy to see my two favorites collaborating. I particularly value your advice to dive into the yacht life and learn and upgrade as we go.
Very interesting and great collaboration. I'm partial to sailing, but, absolutely appreciate a motor yacht. I have lived my life around water and to be honest, there is nothing finer. Two major expenses set aside sail/motor yacht living from land living: 1) 10% min of purchase price for yearly maintenance/repair - 100,000 for a 1M yacht and 2) Depreciation 6% - 7%/yr exponentially declining as the yacht value depreciates. 1Million purchase price: First year maintenance/repair: (100K per year ( 8,333/month)) Depreciation first year at 6% ( 60K/yr (5,000/month)). It's my experience that depreciation in vehicles etc. is often never considered. It's a real loss of money and needs to be factored. Maintenance/repair + depreciation is easily 13,333/month in expenses that would be arguably 10,000 per month less for a land condo as maintenance is much less costly and real estate does not depreciate over the long term, but, of course appreciates. I didn't really consider it, but, fuel for a motor yacht fuel costs would be highly variable based based on individual preference and always increasing. So, land life is less expensive comparatively but quality of life on the water - well - that wins hands down and is priceless. My two cents.... :). Cheers.
I lived in West Palm Beach in a penthouse overlooking the inland waterway. Ft. Lauderdale is known as Ft. Liquordale, a bar on every corner and a nail-tech in between. My late wife and I loved to go to the Bimini Boatyard and that big restaurant on the ocean-side of the 17th Street Bridge. Victoria and Enrico are fixtures in the yachting world and in my house. What a lovely yacht. I love the wood finish. Nikki, as you said, it's one big storage space. Well, its much more than that. For two people a floating luxury condo at 8kts. When you're young those H H Catamarans are the way to go. Maybe you'll move to a 50/55 after this one. So, next week we'll find out if you got the Zero-Jet for the tender or not...LOL! Every week is a new adventure! Love it. Love you guys! Un abbraccio forte a due!
I love these crossover videos, when you meet up with other channels. It was hilarious how you were disrupting the "normal flow" of how they do their tours!
cute outro. I've been watching Rico and Victoria for years also. No polarization SY vs. MY in this house. It's all good, like Rico said. Just enjoy being out on the water.
You four have CHEMISTRY! that works way too well. My husband is a NautiStyles viewer and he loves their channel, where I love your channel, but when you merged, WOW! You need to do more videos together. Great details without dragging it out, fun all the way and it looked like four great friends having a blast. You knew each others language and could be in the moment. Loved this time together and can't wait to see more! Thank you for another "happy place" time :)
Imagine having friends over at your house and say "hey, let's first burn 50 gallons of fuel purely for fun!" Powerboating effects on nature: 1) Climate (Fuel) - Climate change and 2) high toxicity in the water; increased pollutant concentrations in aquatic organisms and sediments; increased erosion rates; increased nutrients, leading to an increase in algae and a decrease in oxygen (eutrophication); and high levels of pathogens. And this is the problem in 2022: personal benefits before the global picture. One powerboat has no effect, but millions of powerboaters do. I owned a powerboat, had great fun with it, but at some point I realised it was just plain insane.
Nikki, those figures you were explaining to us and the economies of a live a board lifestyle were nearly as good as your own figure ... Lookin Good Girl!! Stay Safe & Fair Winds!!
Victoria and Rico sent me here! I'm looking for a liveaboard motor yacht myself right now, to tie up in Monterey Bay in California. One of my own criteria is that it has to have either a fully enclosed upper helm or a fully instrumented lower helm. (Often, when the upper helm is the one that's most often used, the lower might lack things like a chart plotter.) Both are fine, but I want at least one or the other. It's not that it rains a lot here, but it does get uncomfortably cool. The seawater here stays pretty cold all year round, so although summers are dry, fog or even a light drizzle is something you'll encounter fairly often. So the weather doesn't have to get really cold or really wet for you to wish you could stay warm and dry while underway. So if all I have is an upper helm, I would like at least some canvas around me that I could close off. If I were in Southern California I could totally see using an upper helm with maybe just a bimini nearly all the time. But not only is an enclosure more comfortable for where I will actually be, but I just might want to cruise up to the Pacific Northwest at some point. I have to say, my eyes bugged out when I heard the cost of that slip. $10 a foot is much closer to what you pay around here, with liveaboard fees usually less than $200 a month, in a spot where the cost of living is otherwise just about the highest in the country. That's not counting utilities, but you're not going to pay $1000 a month for electricity.
YES, you MUST research the ENTIRE cost of maintaining.... Helicopters are super expensive... the maintenance annually is even worse ! So make sure to be a good detective. The BEST people to talk to our people who just left a certain category. For example if you can find people who recently stopped renting at a slip they will give you their more honest appraisal of the experience. I always used to interview people who just moved out of the neighborhood and it was frightening how much I learned from them so my suggestion is go out on weekends and walk and talk with anyone who will talk to you at any marina. Often the expense and the stress is far darker than you ever imagined. I say this because if you don't go into this with your "eyes wide open" it may be a costly mistake. Good luck!
@@LJ-jq8og Such is the cost of living around here that even considering maintenance costs living aboard a yacht is either a wash or slightly cheaper than a condo or apartment. Santa Cruz, California was recently noted as the least affordable community in the country. It's actually more expensive in Santa Clara County (that is, Silicon Valley) but what makes Santa Cruz unaffordable is the cost of living relative to the average income. Not that I'd be in Santa Cruz. The harbor here has a very limited number of slips for boats over 45' or so, and even their small waiting list is years long. Fortunately, there are alternatives in the bay.
What a nice treat!! Two of my favorite ladies in RUclips land side by side. Christmas came early. Looking fabulous ladies! Looking forward to the new channel, 'Naughty Styles' Rico and Jason, well, you know, the ladies are the stars of these channels.
It has always been the freedom of the wind and the wind in your sails that motivate the sailors over the motor boaters. It is magical experience of being under sail that separates the sailors in a way that can not be duplicated in a motor boat. There will always be that argument. Having said that, it is a lot (not a little) more work to operate a sailboat. :)
I'm looking to make a change so I really appreciate the budget break down at the end. I know there are dreamers, and whimsical folks, and I know there are spreadsheet nerds (I'm the latter). For the past four years, I have lived solo in a 36' RV (2 bedroom, 1 bath, 325 square feet) out of the Bay Area of Northern CA (less than a 1/2 mile from the beach) for $900 per month. I'm not a minimalist, so I have a storage unit for larger tools, camping gear etc., but all in, its still only $1,200 per month. That is very cheap for this area. Plus I like all the redundancy. Three sources of electricity, 3 weeks emergency water storage, 15k watt hours of LiFepo4 for energy back up, earthquake approved etc. etc. and I can take it almost anywhere on paved / flat-ish land for a $1 per mile in fuel. I couldn't agree more with your cost analysis UNTIL you dropped the maintenance bomb. 10-15% of the boat's value? REALLY? Holy smokes. 15% on a $280k boat is $42k per year / $3,500 mo in maintenance alone? I guess it is what it is, but now I'm sad - no south pacific for me. lol
I never had a glimpse into the 'Yachting Lifestyle' until today. I never gave it much thought, frankly. I have always liked Sailing for so many reasons. Now seeing a real Yacht, alluding to the operations of one, doing the walk-around of this lovely Vessel I see that world through new eyes. I Loved the Features and Amenities, especially the Dish Washer! Beautiful classy construction of the Interiors, spacious, comfortable, plus A.C. and all the Bells & Whistles. Unless I find a partner it will not be on my list, Yet. Another lovely Sunday with the non-stop Wynn's, adventuring through the World on Water! Coffee, a healthy Danish, and Fruit; what a way to start my Sunday! Thank You, for the new 101 of Luxury Yachting in Style! Be safe, God Bless, til next time. Trudy
FUN STUFF FROM BOTH CHANNELs GUYS! I am totally BI. I have owned Wharram catamaran, a Piver Tri, TMI 30, sailed all of the great lakes and now live on my 40 Year old Motor YAcht in Mexico , old Defever 52. ,
This was a total surprise for me. Two of my favourite boating channels got together, met and did a tour! I’m subscribed to both of you for a long time but didn’t know you guys actually met in person. Keep up the wonderful, entertaining and informative videos guys. Xo.
when you run out of fuel wind feels good, when you run out wind, sun feels good, when you run out of sun, drop anchor and sleep. When you get enough sleep, break out the oars. When you run out of food, fish.
I remember when I moved into a house (solo mum n 2 boys); and I discovered it had a dishwasher, I cried. Tears of joy obviously. And when I retold the story to another mumma friend of mine she said “I did the same when we moved into our home!!”😂
Another factor to consider, that wasn't addressed, is how much easier it is to just go where you want and WHEN you want, in a MV. If the winds are against you(or storming), you could be stuck where you are for days or weeks longer than you wanted, forcing you to spend more money on mooring/marina fees or just food, while you wait. Conversely, the winds can force you to move earlier than you wanted because of a favourable weather window.
That what is called a cockpit motoryach. Usually they have the same boat as a aft cabin design without that lower cockpit and they offer a second design where they add the cockpit behind the aft cabin. Many cockpit Motor yachts have that rear door straight into the master suite. Meridian’s 459 is a 408 aft cabin that has the cockpit added on and that rear door entry to the master.
One topic that didn't come up, was finding a liveaboard slip. The cost of a slip is one thing, but finding one that will allow liveaboards is another...
What a fantastic collaboration between four terrific folks! Sailor's perspective ...one of the things every sailor relishes is turning off the motor. I'm sure it's pretty quiet on a big Cruiser at low speeds, but the real peace and quiet that comes with wind power couldn't be overcome even if fuel was 50 cents a gallon. Alas, there's a toy for everyone!
I've had a Freedom 21daysailor for 15 years. I'm a long haul truck driver and gave up my house to live in motels two weekends a month. Last month I bought a 1979 Freedom 40 as my new home. It's cheeper than a house or even an apartment and, like you said in your video, "you can't cruise a house."
Great vid! Its a balance between great on-water million $$ living on the cheap versus weather forecast and storm prep. That latter is constant stress. Just recognize its a trade off. In a house, you just leave and hope for the best. With a boat, you gotta haul out (expensive) and many boats that do haul out end up falling over in soft ground under jacks, wind, and flood debris.... Do it for a season or two and live the zillion life for just a few hundred bucks a month. Then, sell and get out...
It's a fun prospect to live this sort of lifestyle. However, this is not a lifestyle that is truly accessible to “everyone.” Of course, it's all relative to the basis for comparison. But taking the example of the Meridian 408 on which Rico and Victoria were living, crunching the numbers of the estimated purchase price of approximately $200,000 and factoring in maintenance of roughly 10%-20% that’s roughly $1,700-$3,300 dollars a month plus the payment of the boat not including other aspects of living expenses. For the average person, these numbers are cost prohibitive. Even if you could find something truly liveable for $50,000, this would equate to $625 per month to maintain, but I suspect the numbers would still be much higher given the size one would expect to have for even modest living quarters as compared to say, a studio apartment somewhere. I’m curious to know what an aft cabin engine extraction/replacement would cost when the engines reach the end of their service life. I’m operating with the idea that no engine is infinitely rebuildable.
Love the NautiStyles guys - Victoria has so many striped outfits to show off and Rico really knows all the tech. Power boat content aside (LOL for the motor boat gaff you salty sea dogs!) its fine to see these guys hanging out. Maybe we can do a reverse episode where the Wynns take NautiStyles through a sailboat. Don't forget that the new Wynns sail boat will be well north of $1M even in the base configuration. None of this is a budget option either to buy (new) or operate.
Nikki and Jason, First thing I noticed was that Nikki's skin was glowing.. I loved learning about the AG you are consuming every morning.. You both are looking so healthy.. This was a fun video.. I loved seeing the tour with the Nauti channel couple..It was very informative and impressive for the amount of info. Happy That Ian didn't hit this area in Florida,. Thanks again.. Wishing you well! xoxo
"Any day on the water is a good day." There's a quote we can all get behind. Swim, Paddle board, Canoe, Sail, Motor, it's all good. Let's get in the wet stuff.
Two fantastic channels. Kirstin & I (Andy) were just talking about how amazing it would be for you to do some cross over videos while in the states... and you delivered with a fantastic cross-over episode! Fantastic
This was an excellent video...we love Rico and Victoria! Great information...you guys asked all the questions I'd want to ask them. OH! Love the last snippet! Heading over to their channel right now.
That's so awesome that they also support you on Patreon and Victoria has mentioned you two in their videos several times. I would love to see all 4 of you do a review on a Silent Yacht.
I'm an a 1999 Fleetwood bounder,RV ,when I lived in Jamaica,it was my dream to build a yacht from recycled aluminum, and carry tourist sight seeing and snorkeling...
Generator usage: Using the generator for one or even a couple hours a day at anchorage would probably equal what land lubbers use in their vehicles per day and you're not using a vehicle at all. Therefore it averages out. So boat if you want or sit down in your stick, frame and mortar home, either way, enjoy life. Ciao
A comment of a different nature… We are streaming your telecast via RUclips on an iPad, then broadcasting to the TV. On the iPad screen, it’s following the topic of discussion. I love that feature! I don’t know if that feature is provided by RUclips or you, but it’s much appreciated!
This was great. I subscribe to both channels so it was awesome to see the four of you interacting. You all produce such high quality content. Keep it up!
I have been following both of your channels for quite sometime. LOVE YOU BOTH! This was an awesome collaboration! I am building up my information for foray into this lifestyle and it helps me to develop my preferences to see all of the sides. Thank you, thank you, thank you all.
Not that I am of the age to even think about this idea - I DO have to say ...... back in the day.... this would have interested me no end!! Great vid guys!! Thank you!

Love the double team up! Do start a boat lifestyle network and I'll handle the data science! 🚀
Wynns AND Nautistyles can't go wrong.
We had such a blast with you guys! Let's do it again! 😁🎉
Victoria & Rico
omg I was waiting for this collab!
Bring us with you again!
I love this collab. My two favorite boating channels. For some reason I never considered you two crossing paths so this was a fantastic surprise.
Count on it! 💙💛💙
Great team effort:). Luv both your channels
The two bestest sailing/motoring youtubers on the planet meet .. looks like you had a lot of fun together . Great tour , thanks
waaay too much fun!
No such thing as too much fun! 😆😜
WOW, AWESOME, MY 2 FAVORITE YACHT TEAMS,
hey Rob 👋🏻
SAME!!!
I love following the Nauti channels.... they are a great couple with a lot of knowledge on the boating lifestyle. And the Wynns did a great job with this video - the layout, the presentation, the questions, etc.
Thanks @Jerome Hebert
The collaboration we all wanted but did not deserve. I hope you do it again. You all are great!
I think I deserved it.

whaa? did you see Rico?? 🤦🏼♀😝😂
Really enjoyed this. Getting opposing points of view is refreshing. I love both of your channels, so this was a pleasant surprise & I'm not even a boater.
When both of your yachts are finished, I'd love to see you do a walkthrough of each other's yachts. Can't wait to see both of the new yachts.
That would be FUN!
This was so ENLIGHTENING! I had never thought about boating like this or living on a boat versus a home in what I would call “paradise”. Thank you for putting this vid together. I’m super stoked to see this other channel too! Take care!
A home builds equity and a boat losses. Not a good idea to put your money into a boat alone.
So glad you found it interesting! @J_Rains GOAT but you can't take your home for a cruise 😝

That's not counting utilities, but you're not going to pay $1000 a month for electricity.
hey @ChrisC wishing you luck in your search!
Good luck!
@@NautiGuys Thank you very much!
@@the-chillian BUT a house with land APPRECIATES ❗
Great synergy and yachting camaraderie amongst you guys. Two favourite couples on UTube! Now where are Nick and Meagan?
Great to see two of my favorite couples together! Great job.
yeeayy! 💙💙💙
Awesome video... we're huge fans of both channels :)!
I love Nautistyles, they are excellent at what they do! Fun, a bit wimsicle, honest and just overall good WT of all kinds of boats. /Catta
Great episode! Love both these channels and the new Nautiguys channel as well! Stay safe and keep rolling!
What a nice treat!! Two of my favorite ladies in RUclips land side by side. Christmas came early. Looking fabulous ladies! Looking forward to the new channel, 'Naughty Styles'
Rico and Jason, well, you know, the ladies are the stars of these channels.
❤ Last half of the video was one of the BEST you have ever done ❗ 💪
It has always been the freedom of the wind and the wind in your sails that motivate the sailors over the motor boaters. It is magical experience of being under sail that separates the sailors in a way that can not be duplicated in a motor boat. There will always be that argument. Having said that, it is a lot (not a little) more work to operate a sailboat. :)
Dream come true! Ya'll together in the same vid!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
ooowww thanks!
You guys could present paint drying and still make it a joy to watch! ❤
I don't know about that, but thanks for the 💙💛💙
this collaboration made my day, my two fav streamers in one video
I have to liken this to watching your favorite actors in the same movie together. Just cool.
😁💙🙏🏻
I guess it is what it is, but now I'm sad - no south pacific for me. lol
Fascinating insights really enjoyed this vid. Great job by both couples.
Xo.
The woodwork is Gorgeous!! Huge engine room!!
I love the power boat tours , as most of us use them for recreation. what a dreamy time!
So cool ,often hilarious and sincere .
when you run out of fuel wind feels good, when you run out wind, sun feels good, when you run out of sun, drop anchor and sleep. When you get enough sleep, break out the oars. When you run out of food, fish.
Two of our favorite RUclipsrs together. Love it!!
Two of my favourite boating channels together, delicious!
I remember when I moved into a house (solo mum n 2 boys); and I discovered it had a dishwasher, I cried. Tears of joy obviously.
And when I retold the story to another mumma friend of mine she said “I did the same when we moved into our home!!”😂
Great job. Luv the presentation.
Nice to see both couples doing a segment. Thank you!
This is a Collab I can get behind. Two great channels
🙏🏻💙
Another factor to consider, that wasn't addressed, is how much easier it is to just go where you want and WHEN you want, in a MV. If the winds are against you(or storming), you could be stuck where you are for days or weeks longer than you wanted, forcing you to spend more money on mooring/marina fees or just food, while you wait. Conversely, the winds can force you to move earlier than you wanted because of a favourable weather window.
Great vid guys, I have followed Nautistyles for years and they are great and great to see they are supporting you guys!
I love nauti styles. The bering that they are building is by far my favorite boat
🙏🏻💙 Thanks for the love!
Great Collaboration. Really enjoyed the Wynns (first video watched.)
This was a great crossover video! Two of my favorite channels.
yeay!
Outstanding! Two of my favorite RUclips couples in one video!
Wishing you well! xoxo
Thanks for watching!
"Any day on the water is a good day." There's a quote we can all get behind. Swim, Paddle board, Canoe, Sail, Motor, it's all good. Let's get in the wet stuff.
agreed!
...and now over to NautiGuys for their collab-video...
we are still working on editing ours! Coming soon! Please don't forget to subscribe, so you get the notification 💙🙏🏻
It'll be worth the wait! Thanks for the 💙💛💙!
Two fantastic channels. Kirstin & I (Andy) were just talking about how amazing it would be for you to do some cross over videos while in the states... and you delivered with a fantastic cross-over episode! Fantastic
I can not wait until you get your electric boat, I hope it is not delayed! Keep up the awesome videos in the meantime. 😀
Lots of great chemistry from you four. I like both of your channels. I hope we can see a video of the after-party. Bow chica Bow Bow ;)
This was an excellent video...we love Rico and Victoria! Great information...you guys asked all the questions I'd want to ask them. OH! Love the last snippet! Heading over to their channel right now.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video, we had way too much fun making it with them 🙏🏻💙
Generators suck a ton of fuel even when you are standing still. Oh, and you didn’t discuss insurance which can be big $$$$
That's so awesome that they also support you on Patreon and Victoria has mentioned you two in their videos several times. I would love to see all 4 of you do a review on a Silent Yacht.
Great visit….
Whoa...What!?!? Nikki AND @NautiStyles Victoria in the same video? I've done died and gone to heaven. Jason and Rico really know how to live! 👏👏👏👍👍
As soon as AG 1 started sponsoring, amazing how that happens. Not a hater just a realist
So fun to see the RUclips crossover! We follow natistyle too!
I'm an a 1999 Fleetwood bounder,RV ,when I lived in Jamaica,it was my dream to build a yacht from recycled aluminum, and carry tourist sight seeing and snorkeling...
Love watching the four of you together ‼️
Big Fan of both of you guys.
Generator usage:
Using the generator for one or even a couple hours a day at anchorage would probably equal what land lubbers use in their vehicles per day and you're not using a vehicle at all.
Nice to see you together.
This was great. I subscribe to both channels so it was awesome to see the four of you interacting. You all produce such high quality content. Keep it up!
Two of my favorite shows together! Woo-Hoo!
yeayy!! so happy to hear that!
Your gonna make Nick cry. I use this channel as a drinking game. You have to take a drink when someone says "proper".
Loved this video collaboration! I watch both your channels and when I saw this I literally sweeded with joy.
