  • Now, expand your statistical software skills! When building APA style frequency tables, there are other ways to do the formatting than what I showed you in the main video. Here are three great tricks for using Word, Excel, and SPSS that apply not only to frequency tables, but also to working with SPSS output in all of your statistical analyses.
    You will learn how to export SPS output directly to Excel rather than using Word as an interim step. You will learn about using auto-formatting tools in Word for formatting tables. And I will show you a very useful trick for copying formula values using the Paste Special command in Excel. These three hints will work around numerous problems that you may encounter when working between Word, Excel, and SPSS.
