Maybe it’s only me but when I spray both on shirt even day after I smell they are completely different scents. Smells similar but flame has his own character.
I absolutely agree with you the drydown is also different - the flame is more spicy and really remind you of "flame"
Just got this I haven’t opened it up and I haven’t even smelled it yet. I just got it hoping for something nice as I haven’t bought cologne in over a year wanted something new.

Flame is the better one, its not as sweet as Eros, its just more balanced and it is edp not edt.
This is perfect for me, as the original has that sweaty/musky/funky mint note in it.
Can't get along with it.
Flame has citrus instead and....that...is perfect for me! AND I get that beautiful dry-down of vanilla too!?

Well I think this frag is a really good deal because you can wear it in normal terms while the original Eros you can only wear in spring for clubs and that stuff plus it gets nice compliments so I think it's worth 😉

How much did u apply with it? I have the original Eros and i really dont want to overuse that one, is Flame the same? Should i shy away from putting on around 3-4 or is it more pleasant.

Over the summer, I wore Versace Eros EDT. I got a few compliments, but women/people in general definitely love the Flame scent more. It's seductive and masculine. I get compliments almost daily.
I even like to spray the tiny bit of EDT that comes out from the bottle onto my neck, then add the flame on top of it. Absolutely amazing. I have the miniature bottle, but I'm going to purchase a bigger one. It's definitely more of a fall fragrance, in my opinion.
I wear it at work so it's going to be my signature daily until the wintertime.
Eros just works, people say scents get outdated but if you like it and it works use it.I enjoy the original Eros and wear it but my collection isn't crazy like others with more to choose from

Both are falling scents for me. Dry airy sweet.
I really like the opening of flames. I can handle some challenging aspects at this point, but I really don't like the opening of the original. It is off putting to me. I think it's because there's so many synthetics used. I think that Flames used a few more naturals then amped up the concentration. The result is that it lasts about the same but it is slightly more natural in the opening.
For someone that doesn't own a bottle of the original, I don't mind the dry down being similar. I'm not sure what you wanted Flames to be. How different did you want? I sometimes see complaints about some flankers that are too different. Too similar and too different aren't strong arguments to me. I am not sure the dry down is 100% the same either. It's slightly more spicy and zingy to me. Maybe after four to five hours I could say they are almost identical.
I tested them at Ulta, OG on one arm and Flame on the other.. Flame def outlasted the Eros and i noticed a slight whiff of character in the Flame, kinda of a sweet citrus. I liked the Flame better
x2 I can´t stand the original, but i like a lot flame... even though it's so strong that it might give me a headache after 10 hours xD
the dry down to me is more vanilla like but for a perfum its performance is light but rather lovely

The dry down smells quite different to my nose the original eros smells more amboxin heavy and flame smell more smooth
Spot on review. They are the same fragrances with only minor differences. They just added Citrus notes, rose, and made it a bit earthy with Versace Eros Flame, which might have been enough to make it a compliment beast compared to the original Versace Eros. May not be enough changes to justify buying the new Versace Eros Flame at retail, so probably better off waiting until prices go down or hits discounters to purchase.

Yeah I just picked it up at Nordstrom . . . I liked it better than the original and so did the cute girl behind the counter giving me the samples . . . not only that but I felt it has more autumn vibes and it's November so yeah, what the hell. Nice review tho. I lol'd at the opening segment.
This has rose in the middle note, so I am not surprised it is a complient beast because women love rose and the note of rose works well on some men's skin. It projects and drives women crazy on the right guy. Rose note in any men's fragrance just works well for some guys and they cannot explain it.

I like the original but never reach for it anymore cause it feels a little clawing at times but I’m going to have to try it out when it gets to the USA since you say it’s a bit less loud

Brother one piece of advise for you- if you want your reviews to be genuine do not write off any perfume. Here the difference can be slightly different and that slight difference is what stands out or seperates the two different tones of a similar perfume. You may not significantly feel as if you dived into a spice mill where it's all getting crushed:). So don't write off the product straightaway cos there are people who bought it and loved that still came to see some reviews. Peace ✌️
You say that it's not suitable for high-class e.g job interviews, but you use it for work?
I do, and it works wonders. My boss says I smell fresh. Even one of my Uber drivers complimented me. I'd say you can wear it at work. I work in the retail industry, and I got no complaints of it being too powerful.
I used to wear Eros EDT. After two or three sprays it became too overpowering. With flame, you can't really over-do it. When you put lotion on before applying, it lasts longer.

I personally dislike Eros but I do enjoy flame; I don’t see it’s the same fragrance but they are similar. I just finished my decant and I can agree it is a “crowd pleaser” and I will be buying it when it hits discounters

There’s definitely a big difference on the dry down between original and flame its just that some people have a very weak sense of smell that they cant tell the difference but FLAME is the shit😉

Eros 2019 has poor performance , they destroyed the fragrance with reformulation , at least on my skin only last maybe 4 hours .. thats a reason to go for eros flame
That must be a fake cause I bought a 2019 version of Eros and it stays 18+ hours on my skin easily with 4 hours of beast projection at least.

i'm not the biggest fan of Eros either, but i can't deny the fact that when i used to own it, it probably got me more compliments than any other fragrance i purchased after it, including expensive niche ones, and it was so damn strong, so yeah, i get him too, Eros doesn't speak to me so much anymore but can't deny that it's a swiss knife fragrance, and it's so cheap too

i'm gonna put 2 sprays on neck, 1 on my short before going out. then I am gonna reapply to my neck 2 separate times during the night. This way I get the sweet sexy seductor smell going on for the whole night out, being 8-10 hours total. But if I go on a date or meeting that's like 2 hours ish no need to reapply. But the dried base of the fragrance is definitely sweeter and more musky than the default eros base. I think you are little off there by saying they are exactly the same. But the base DNA of flame is god tier anyway and women love it even if it was almost the same as the original

I started off not taking serious also, but give him some time brother he grows on you. What’s even better is that he’s one of the few young purfumetuber that I found who’s taste and style is around my age with really nice quality and well edited video. Now Timmy and Jeremy are my go tos when it comes to fragrancers.
