I can't stop smelling it when I wear it, that mandarin citrus blast with spice is just incredible to me. I wasn't a major fan of eros, but eros flame hits all those right notes for me

@Kopper Klan Yeah, spray it on your clothes. Honestly this is an absolute performance and projection monster. It beats my Aventus decant and JPG Ultra Male which is an absolute power house.
If you still aren't getting performance you got a bad bottle or a fake or something, I'm not sure which. My girlfriend could smell Eros Flame on her bed for *FOUR DAYS* after I left her house wearing it, I'm not even lying. She kept texting me about how she could still smell it on the sheets and pillows.

I liked the original Eros. A bit sweet for an everyday type but was good. I like Flame so much more. It’s a little less sweet, more versatile. Solid release. The citrus is going to make this a great summer night scent

Sephora sent a sample and I loved it. Went to order it and realized that it is marketed as a men's fragrance. I loved it so I ordered one for my boyfriend because I wanted to smell it. Long story slightly shorter, I have another, purse spray, on its way for myself. I had to have it for Fall.

Hey Red, found this super helpful. I think I'll grab the regular eros as I'm on a budget but want a heavy sillage cologne for going out. I think it's a tough choice though as I loved JPG Ultra Male but only have enough for one.

I have sampled both. Up close Flame has an element of spice after it dries down. In light of that, it seems a bit more mature and would appeal to a slightly older male crowd. I agree with the versatility factor not only seasonally, but in a variety of wearing scenarios.

I tried this in macy's and liked it while back, few months later I purchased it online for cheaper price and was disappointed when I received it initially, but then I tried on few times and it grew on me, i am liking it alot now. It definitely is one of my favorites along with azzaro wanted, sauvage edp, la nuit del homme
I’m in love with the citrus blast on this one...I like Flame better than the original, and I really like the original. I’ve seen more neutral or negative reviews than positive, but I think it’s a good release.

I enjoy the Flame better than the original Eros. The dry down does smell very similar though. I enjoy the freshness for warmer weather. Great review!

I put my nose on this frag today and it smells delicious and delicious is not a word I use often but when I took my first whiff of it I was like DAAAAAAAAAAYYYYUUUUM!! I need this in my collection.

Great review as always. I didn't care for this one very much. I absolutely love the Original. My opinion is only that, an opinion. But I felt the citrus notes (which I smelt more lemon and orange than anything) were kinda harsh smelling, and not very pleasant. I do not have your nose where you can break every note down to a T, but I believe this is definitely a crowd pleaser for sure. There are just other fragrances I am gathering up at this time. I always appreciate a great review and wanted to see what you had to say. As always, never disappointed Steven!

when i first got it, i got caught by surprise wit tha lemon style smell at first because i didn’t smell it when i went to go look at it tha first time. but it does go away like you said nd really brings out those sweeter smells

I just bought a magazine that had the sample of versace eros flame it does smell very similar to eros it has a lighter cleaner smell and fruity I get more compliments from versace than all my other colognes Tom Ford noir extreme dior sauvage edt and edp invictus blea de chanel edp Tom Ford noir extreme is my favorite but versace gets me the most compliments

Thank you for your input and it's good to finally see a fragrance review worth digesting. However, I would recommend eliminating so many double negatives and "counterparts". It was very confusing on what you were actually addressing. Otherwise, keep up the great work.

I think you're reviews are fantastic, but a clear score/ratings on certain categories and an overall rating out of 10 would really add something beneficial to the reviews.

On my skin flame and the original only share similarities early on. In the dry down they are totally different. Flame smells like a creamy orange, floral vanilla with some sandalwood. Its very nice.

Sup Steven, Look at that fragrance collection! Always impressive. I have to see what the Tonka Bean is about, want to try Invictus after your review. I have been wearing Emporio Armani He, JPG Le Male and Aventus 17/18. Have Aventus 14L01 and 15Y11 samples coming in try. Have you tried Emporio Armani He? I fell in love with it in like 2001 and started using it again this, alt ought original formulation was a little better IMO.

I have the original. My first minty sweet fragrance. I really love it. I might pick this up after my bottle of Versace Eros is finished

How do you keep ur versace eros bottle good? My previous ones havent been so strong and it smells different.
Futura Free I keep mine on my desk. Usually the is cool so my bottle is ok. Except for the cap which got loose for some odd reason.
Eh honestly I'd get it now, don't risk any reformulations. The current Eros Flame EDP is a projection and performance MONSTER. I pray to God they don't ever water this down, it's just such a powerhouse and that is what makes it so unique in my opinion. It is hard to come by such a fragrance that will just cut through everything else in the club or bar.
I don't know why, but I always seem to be really attracted to the note of apple in fragrances. Hence my love of PDM Layton! I think the Flame version loses that for me. As my nose has developed, I don't wear it as much anymore, however I still think I prefer the original because of the apple note.

Eros Flame smells exactly the same as Eros after 30 minutes on my skin. I was really hoping for something nice as I really like all the other fragrances but was incredibly disappointed with this one. Glad that I was able to get a sample before I committed to a full bottle

If you still end up getting to read this comment, the one thing that you shouldn't overlook is the EDP concentration of this particular flanker. Yes, in many cases EDP doesn't mean anything and still sucks (i.e. Mont Blanc Legend Night) but in this case, we are given the gift of enormous projection and longevity that actually outlasts and outperforms the original Eros, even though the original is VERY GOOD. This one just performs so much more.

Good in depth review :-) not a big fan or eros don't get the warm sensual kinda vibe was very dry and flat on me. Do like the sound of the citrus in flame but not if it drys down identical

I like the flame better seems a little more minty and citrusy to me. I think it’s a more refined tuned up version of the original . It’s actually what I wanted the original Eros to smell like! The original can smell a little cheap in my opinion?
People say it has more depth and not as basic as the original Eros
Just finally tried Eros Flame... Ehhhh, I don't know....The original Eros was sooo good that it's hard to replace it. Initial opening I'm not blown away by EF, unlike E that smells super from the get-go. Have to get to that dry down and that's where these two differ. All in all, it's ok, but Eros was just that good it's hard to beat.

While I like the original, I actually think I like Eros Flame better. It took me a few wearings to properly form that opinion. While the first one was more of a “club banger”, I think the versatility of Eros Flame allows me to wear it to the office. I’m looking forward to wearing this a bunch as the weather becomes warmer on a more consistent basis.

dude, have you ever thought of being a fragrance consultant? like - making money out of it? in the sense that you can have people over that want to find their ideal fragrance and present them with alternatives - because you have a larger collection than most retailers

I disliked Euros at first. Packed it away right at the back of my collection and randomly used it again after some time. However, I used it again and complements were quit surprisingly good. Even when I did not smell it on myself anymore, those in my surroundings would.

It ain’t cheap that’s for sure more than the original. It was $122 @ Dillard’s for the standard bottle.
Not a fan of this one. My favorite new release is Armani code absolu, lovely warm sparkly scent with vanilla and suede. Would love to see a review on it

I just bought Code Colonia. I fell in love. My Dillards doesn't have it yet. I am hoping when I go across the state next month the Macy's has Absolu to try. I heard it is amazing !
When I first heard of the release of Flame I imagined it would be cinnamon and vanilla. That would have conveyed more of a “flame” note than citrus does.

Just bought the 30ml one on discount for 40$ , how much sprays would you recommend for an ordinary day at college with it , I like it so far and think the warm citrusy smell is good for upcoming winter
