- Hi people, how is it going? Today I am putting up comparison between Eros and Eros Flame (which is the newer flanker with very attractive notes break down and packaging). I reviewed it 7 months ago and Eros was an easy winner due to the price point difference. now the prices are getting little easier on Flame, so let's see if it can beat the mighty Eros (God Of Love) which has been a Legend and crowd favorite since it's release in 2012. Eros is EDT concentration while Eros Flame is EDP. Both are available in multiple bottle sizes such as 30, 50, 100 and 200 ml. prices will vary from market to market. make sure you buy from legit shops/sellers, there are lot of fakes on both fragrances in the market.

That beard is awesome brother!
Your beard style is unique. I have both Eros and I love both. Flame it is more citrusy to my nose which makes it more wearable in the summer than the original Eros but both can be wear all year round. Original Eros has more potency in the fall and winter. The major difference for me in the dry down is that Eros keeps that sweet chewing gum mint whereas Flame doesn’t have any mint but has a bit of citrus and pepper.
This makes original Eros more playful and Flame more versatile and easier to wear.
For work I would say Eros is a bit too much whereas Flame while it’s not the best suited fragrance for that can still work

It’s running about $72 on discount sights as of Feb 25, 2020. I would expect It to eventually drop even more to around $52 like Eros after some time passes. I have not tried a Versace fragrance that I don’t like so I am sure I would like it. I’ll pick it up this fall to go with my collection.
I have the original I bought last year over the summer, and this year going to buy eros flame for the summer, so I can wear both!!
I love both scents, but I find the original Eros is more youthful and better for clubbing, while Flame is more mature and less in your face (it doesn’t scream its presence).
I follow you brother because you always tell how will the fragrance work in Indian Subcontinent conditions.

Coming to the bottom line, i have been thinking about a Brand From UK which is Jo Malone. I have been thinking that why don't people like yourself, Jermey, Max Forti, Sebastián, Gentscents don't review these perfumes?
Why? Is this underrated or they don't sponsor You people? I guess I don't need to talk about Jo Malone as it is one of the best Niche Perfumes.

Kevin Meeks I like Eros too!! But flame is more versatile and mature! I’m 39 with young heart and I don’t have a problem on use young crowd fragrances like Eros, but I can use flame at any occasion beacause is more moderate and less loud that Eros!

I recently started following your channel and trust your advises. Wanted to check the reason why you said the original Eros 100 ml last longer than 200 ml whereas both are same version. Any reason the lasting varies based on volume . Around 4.40 minutes on your video.

And how it the original in terms of performance? I have the original batch 2019 and got horrible performance
@@DIPLAYER1866 I hear a lot of people say their 2019 bottles performance is lacking. However I have a 2019 batch too and it's a beast on me, projection, longevity and sillage.

Did you try it in the summer? I live in a hot country and I do spray it on me sometimes in the evening..
I don't know what do to cause I really like the smell better than flame but i don't get the performance from the original eros.. ( I also tested all the flankers in the store a few days ago and the eros EDT was the weakest out of the 3.. I didn't like the edp but it was a bit more longer lasting than the EDT.. and the eros flame did last on me the best.
@@DIPLAYER1866 What I think is happening is you could be going nose blind to it. I have certain fragrances I go anosmic too but others can still smell. Yes I have worn it in the summer no problems for me.
@@DIPLAYER1866 My suggestion, give it a break for a few days then try again later, but ONLY spray the back of your neck with a spray or two. I notice this keeps me from going anosmic sometimes. Try that, I hope it works.

Yeah it's true, it last long but doesn't proyect like a clubbing fragance, 7-8 hours, high proyection the first 2 hours

I only have 7ml of my OG Eros :/, really curious about flame.
I have both and even tho the dry down are very similar,Flames is still fruitier while the original is more calm apple vanilla dry down... Compliment monsters!!!

He’s not reviewing the old Eros, he’s just holding up the 100ml bottle so it looks uniform with the Flame.
Opening of flame is pure orange and it felt like too basic compared to a complex freshness of Eros
