I think its because you guys as also womens need full body fresh shower first before applying perfume or toilette but do not overspray...4 sprays is ok and 6 is maximum for high end brand as the cheap ones then sillage is not strong and between 5 thru 8 sprays is maximum but always on clean skin spots so the chemistry skin develop scent and not everyone is same
I have only been into fragrances for a few months now, but here is what I have learned after some experimentation. Maybe I’m telling you thing you already know, but this is what works for me. 1.) you need to be in an inherently social situation. You can’t expect people to come up and compliment you at a library or grocery shop or something. Maybe when you are out at a restaurant or some social gathering. 2.) there is a fine line or zone of sprays between over spraying and normal normal spraying that yields compliments. If you go beyond this zone you will annoy people. If you go under, people might not think you care enough to be complimented or associate it with you. 3.) you have to seem open and approachable. If not people won’t come to you. That’s what I have learned so far, whenever this pandemic is over and shit gets back to normal hopefully I can learn more

Thanks so much for mentioning # of sprays. A massive pet peeve of mine is when people say they get insane performance from any given fragrance. Of course anything will perform if you go 10 sprays and bathe yourself in it. Great video
