Sticking with Shinee tire dressing which you have recommended in the past. Prep is key! Scrubbed each tire 3 times with degreaser then wiped with 50/50 rubbing alcohol. Used hair dryer to heat tire Opens pores of the rubber and dressing has lasted 4 to 5 months.
Another great video Brian! Got my Blue Collar 4 Glass Sealant bottles in today and I must say I couldn’t be happier with the application and results! Videos to follow!
I have used PERL mostly but recently tried DIY's tire shine and was very impressed. For some reason my new Uniroyal tires do not shine up well and just look dull and splotchy. I used PERL and McKees and did not get the result I was looking for. Then tried DIY's product and they look great.
I have a 32oz of hyper dressing I like it it’s nice before that I had a cheap bottle of turtle wax tire dressing $4 at Walmart it worked and it looked nice. Before that I used chemical guys VRP that was nice. Next up I was gifted a bottle of carpro perl can’t wait to try that! It’s really All personal preference and what company you like I think
I have tried many. Currently impressed with longevity of Adam's graphene tire dressing. Though a bit skeptical about every product now having ceramic or graphene.
Great video review as always Brian definitely a nice look. I’m finding myself reaching for the water based tire dressing as I like to dress tires often. Still a fan of Gyeon tire dressing and several graphene tire dressings as well.
Gyeon Q2 Tire, Ethos Graphene Shine, Car Pro Pearl, Turtle Wax Graphene Tire. Looking forward to trying Car Pro Darkside and NV Onyx. I was very disappointed with Fireball Sio2 Satin. The product would not properly dry and would collect sand and debris. To make matters worse i recommended it to a friend and he had the same issue with the Gloss. I think i might have got a bad batch because so many people like it. Fireball products are usually very good.
@@chrissemsch8781 thanks for the info. I think they updated the formula, I should have contacted carzilla. Its great it works well for you. I tried everything on multiple cars. always wet for days or weeks. Even applied on 100 degree day, knocked back with microfibre an hour later, then left outside all day. Of course i shook the bottle well too. I am really looking forward to springtime to get detailing again. These Minnesota winters are really harsh. I have got in a few rinseless washes, but looking forward to trying carpro darkside and NV Onyx.
My mom has Bridgestone duelers on her car and they don’t accept fire dressing well at all, I’ve tried oil and water based and still both are lacking in looks
Question. Would this dry out the tires? Basically I put nothing on my tires, but lately I don't like the way they look. The reason I'm asking the question is a friend of mine told me to put nothing on my tires that it would dry rot the tires. I want to know if this is true.
Brian, That old tire did not take the dressing well. I believe that is the first time i have seen you not rinse the tire with water after scrubbing with APC. Just an observation not a critique.
I see you are in a remote garage when dressing the Raptor tires. Doing house calls? It seems that the companies are throwing the Sio2 sticker on everything. In some ways it kind of diminishing to the Si02. Thanks for the demonstration of the product. Time and money saved.
That looked good when first applied but man when you took it outside, maybe it was the lighting or the angle but I could barely tell it had anything on it. I will definitely pass on this as I don't see any benefit to using this one, no shine and no durability benefit that I could see. Will stick with perl.
@@1209MArky you’re wrong yet you lol’d. 🤦♂️ 3 in 1 is for paint, plastic, glass, metal, and…wait for it….RUBBER. You have no clue what you’re talking about. LOL
Your favorite tire dressing?
I used PERL but doesn't last. Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene Acrylic Tire Shine is what I use now
Not very impressed with Adam's Graphene. I want to try Fireball next.
Chemical guys VRP but doesn't last 1 week. I'm missing tyre dressing on my arsenal...
Have yet to find the golden goose, but I will grab for NV Onxy or Gyeon Tire the most often.
Adams Graphine

Dura coating technology has been the best tire coating I've tried to date

That end though. Definitely loving this product
Not to bad for a quick shine before nice night cruise 😎
Thanks Brian! I'm also looking at their new 3 in 1 Wheel Tire and Mat cleaner!
Have you tried Extra Tough Wheel & Tire Cleaner as a 'waterless wash'?
I’ve been using this and P&S tire shine. Honestly like both

Gtechniq SIO2 tire dressing. Great video
Great review!!
Griots makes good products. Looks like this is another
Great informative video once again. I wish it would last longer that two weeks. How do you clean your tire applicators?
the product seems pretty good but no different from others I already own...really interested in darkside to see if it will last a bit longer..
I have tried many. Currently impressed with longevity of Adam's graphene tire dressing. Though a bit skeptical about every product now having ceramic or graphene.
Jay Lenos is great!!!
Wish you would have put it on both sides to demonstrate cleaning is better..
Nice demo! Solid product. I like that applicator. Who makes that?

I prefer Durashine or Optimum personally…
Thanks for your hard work Brian !
I do like Optimum Tire Gel!
Hey Brian. Which tire dressing do you personally use?
My mom has Bridgestone duelers on her car and they don’t accept fire dressing well at all, I’ve tried oil and water based and still both are lacking in looks
I see you gonna get this one 👀 tfs buddy
So from watching this video, it seems that the SiO2 does not add to the durability of the tire dressing. Please correct me if I am wrong.
so it keeps your tires looking cleaner for longer but does it for example make your tires drive longer before needing to be replaced ?
lol No. tires need replaced because they get worn from riding on flat concrete. Wears the rubber down

This in most cases prevents it. Protecting from UVA, UVB and harsh chemicals.
Nice
Brian...what tire dressing impresses you?
I like the look but not sure it is better than my 303 Tire Shine
What soap u use on ceramic coated cars
I like Armor All Ceramic. Only fault, sprayer. 👍
Hey Brian, love the content !
any plans on doing 4k videos?
Here we go
In you opinion. what is the best tire and rubber cleaner?
Adams Tire and Rubber ....for that price range.
Turtle Wax Graphene Acrylic Tire Shine

Used a no rinse. Hydra.
I use pledge!
Just as good and WAY cheaper especially if you buy the “no name “ brand.
Artdeshine Tyre
Awesome video and product review good friend
👍
Looks like a solid product 2 try.its a shame it doesn't last as long as their 3 and 1 ceramic.

Matt, I have found better choice than Perrl in my shop.
Seems weird to have it in a spray bottle when it’s clearly as thick as a lotion.
It is very thick.
😁👍🏻
Nice!
Haven't tried that one since have others
Glad you're not first 🥳

Why buy this if you already have the GG ceramic 3 in 1 Spray? Seems a bit redundant.
Cause this is for rubber. Ones for paint. Lol
It is the same, just marketing to have you buy more. The chemical does not know the difference between rubber and paint.

Good video but not a good tire dressing not good for me thanks
Not impressed with any of the ceramic tire dressings think it’s kind of silly to put ceramic on a tire 🤷♂️
The ceramic trend got a bit out of control. Ceramic dressing on tires for a daily used car is just a bit ridiculous.
Looks okay, but I'm not overly impressed.
1ST TO COMMENT!!!
I think gyeon is better
