That's my secret spot. :) I am working on a much larger piece about the bobcat. That female bobcat catches coho during the late fall/early winter coho run, and catches ducks during the spring migration.
Amazing footage. I was there yesterday and I had no idea there were so many animals living there! May I ask what camera you used to take these videos? Quality is top notch!
Hi Kevin- nice video & that's one of my favorite NPs! Once in Mt Ranier NP, I saw some Roosevelt Elk, likely what you showed in this Video? Can You inform me about this? I have sometime seen them in Yellowstone NP Videos! One wildlife Ranger there @YNP I overheard saying that the Roosevelt Elk don't migrate & stay up in the wintry highcountry always! I used to do business in your area & Vancouver B.C. & was an amateur photographer for years. If you want to get your videos going, please leave off the music & turn up your audio to get the natural world sounds! Alot of folks are trying to integrate music into their vids! Just a tidbit for you. Keep on enjoying what you're doing!
Edward, thank you, and well noted that those are not Roosevelt elk--good spot!!! Thank you for your comment about the music. I will take out the music from the videos and add in more natural sound. Please let me know what else might help. :)
Wow. You should have a lot more views on this video. Amazing footage of the bobcat.
Amazing, thanks
Kevin Freeny, this is a majestic tribute to Olympics fauna: Thank you!
Stunning footage. Thanks for sharing.
I want to the Hoh rainforest just last July. It was gorgeous, weather is perfect, little rain.

Can't blame you for keeping it secret. We'd probably do the same. :) Lovely footage all the same!

Great post. Thanks. How is the Hoh Rainforest in late March - early April?
+SHCHIPD - it's great in the early spring. Hang near small ponds in the forest where waterfowl congregate and you just might see a bobcat nab one.
such beautiful and impressive animals in that forest, are attacks on people a common thing?
thanks. attacks are very uncommon.
