I've cried so many times to this song. APC got me through depression and isolation when I was in high school. Tool helped me through anger and addiction. Puscifer was there to help me see beauty and spirit in life.
I hope now that your world is a little brighter you can get a different perspective on the older Tool stuff. I went through similar stuff as you, and it's now celebratory to listen to it in a more positive state of mind.
Maynards voice reaches down into the darkness and pulls me up for air. It is therapy, religion, magic, science, pain, love, truth.... its so much. It purifies
I 100% agree. Maynard/Tool is the reason I found Carl Jung, Friedrich Nietzsche, Eastern philosophies and how to have deep critique on religion, faith, hope, love, and wisdom. He really is an unsung anti hero. If people truly listened, he would have a status of being a dangerous individual, possibly a revolutionary. But, I love how powerful his mind is, yet he's deeply humble. A real one! Very rare individual and a gift.
Im a burn survivor. I was in a house fire with my brothers and sisters. I got everyone out and was the last out the window. I didnt get my pets out unfortunately. I was placed in a medical coma which I kept trying to rise up like a mummy from. My friends and family would put on Puscifer and nine inch nails. This song echoes in my coma dreams. I only knew I was still human and in my human form when I seen "NIN and Puscifer?" On the nurses whiteboard. They would play music for me to settle me down in my deathly slumber. The fragile by nin was played alot by me upon waking as I felt broken and angry. But the peace from this song during the worst moment of my life is something I wont forget
I cant even imagine what hell that must have been for you. Sometimes I get so irritated I wish I was not spiritually bound by mortality. Only one time this one thing happened one time where I was not back in my body yet and was staring at my own body choking because it could not breathe. The second lasted forever. I gasped awake and caught my terrified breath. This was the very second I realized the truth of the spirit. i was 16 years old and went and slept by my Mom like a big baby. It was terrifying.
@@AnJean3tte I'm glad you made it through. It's hard to hear but suffering is strength and sometimes that's what we need. Why were choking if you don't mind me asking?
Well I dont truly know except I grew up with a lot of Natives and my really good friends Dad who was a Native American Holy man. Cholka Norm Snake Sr. . Rest in peace love you.. anyway, I told him about the experience and how it was making me afraid to go to sleep. He shook his head and smiled and said oh girl you will be ok. He told me the resson I couldn't breathe was because I must have been spiritually traveling while I was sleeping and I woke up before my spirit was back in my body. I was like Ohhh... eyes got super big .. didnt know what to say. I do know this though, that has to be the only thing that can explain something like that. Also ever since then I have felt spiritually limited to my body. My spirit can still do all those beautiful figure skating moves I used yo be able to do when I was younger. My old ass body is like rrrrrrrt. brakes slam on and remind me that if I attempted those things today .. just remember I wont be able to even move tomorrow lol. It always pulls me right back and puts things in perspective. Calms my mind. It's such a beautiful song
This is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard. Maynard's voice is so powerful as is actually seeing the Grand Canyon, and being an Arizonan, I can totally appreciate the connection. Thanks Maynard for the years of your inspiring and awesome music! Hope it continues for a long time...
Honestly, Maynard's lyrics throughout his bands and his singing... have helped me a lot. I'm going through some tough shit in my life but it's ultimately a personal test. I need to work through it and Tool especially have helped me so much so far. This song helps me let go and stop holding in my emotions. It's like a release. Thank you.
I’m 50, I was fortunate to experience Tool and A Perfect Circle in the late nineties and early 2000, I left the concerts with a feeling of euphoria, a biological high but I was completely sober so the memory is carved into my soul. He performs behind a sheer screen or in mask/costume to protect his privacy n energy this is what has stood-out in my memory. Listening to his voice/frequency was hypotonic. I’ve seen ask the greats live when concerts were concerts and affordable. I am grateful. 🙏
This is a masterpiece. Maynard's voice just like when I saw the Grand Canyon transitions me to a spiritual awe I never experienced before. The lyrics, "hope as far as one can see"; brilliant.
This dude is lucky to be able to play with the type of artists he does... everyone always talks about Mr. Keenan but the music behind all the band's he is in is so good.
Saw this live last night. It was an ethereal experience!! Feeling their voices in your chest is an unmatched feeling. All three bands get together to play this. Is absolutely magical. Go. It's worth every penny!!!
This song is gorgeous. Reminds me a lot of Reflection, not the way it sounds but what it seems to be about. Finding comfort and perspective in the face of something impossibly and incomprehensibly greater than yourself.
Everyone's talking about Maynard's vocals, but what about those impeccable harmonies that Carina Round and Juliette Commagere (or Mahsa Zargaran live) are performing here? Stunning vocal work, absolute perfection.
hands down, puscifer was the best show I've attended. it was more than music - it was a show. if any of you have an opportunity to see them live, don't let that window of opportunity close on you.

I just wrote this on my wall regarding this song. Maynard - namaste, brother. Mother Goddess smiles on us both. “Every morning, Maynard gives me my call to prayer. The spectacular thing about being very spiritual and not being religious at all is that church is what you make it. I sat with the medicine women in my life last summer and it was a powerful ceremony. When I came out of the sit, I went to bed. When I was sleeping I was dreaming, and this song came forward as sacred to me. It’s little wonder why. As you listen to the lyrics you hear the words of reverence, awakening and prayer. This song is part of my morning routine every single morning. I love that this is my “churchin’ up” music. It goes with my mind movie, which is full of my current life plans and is the backbone for everything I do for myself and others, every single day. It’s, I think, the most beautiful song I have ever heard. It makes me wonder if Maynard wrote it after sitting with his medicine women 🖤 Seems like he and I have a lot in common, spiritually that is. Anyway, this is that song. I hope you enjoy it. It’s not for everyone, but it’s dog whistling to a few of us in a very special way. Namaste to all my peeps who sit around a fire in the dark, seeking the wonder of all creation again and again.”
Just got to see the grand canyon, and I got to say staring into something like that is breathtaking. It was unfathomably large. When you stare into it, you can't even see as far as it goes because the ozone blocks your view of it. It was probably the most beautiful physical thing I have ever seen, or will see in my entire life.
Grand Canyon, Tumbleweed, and Horizons came on shuffle as I was driving to visit the Grand Canyon for the first time. I'll never forget the fact those three songs came on, as if summoned by the desert, to be one with it and that moment. So humbling.
I really dig this puscifer concept being a music collective rather than a set group of people they switch up the lineup often it keeps the music fresh and the ideas flowing....that must be some really good wine they are sipping on down in merkin vineyards...Maynard Is a staple to the industry....his work is surgical. His words have literally nearly taken my life and also helped me rediscover life in finding the light at the end of my tunnel and develop a new appreciation for life and will to live. I am alive today under a great influence of Maynards words and wisdom.
I love the new album Money Shot so much, I've been listening to it nonstop for the past month. It's one of the best albums to come out this year, and their tour is absolutely phenomenal. This is probably my favorite Puscifer album, I really like Agostina and The Arsonist off the album. The feel of this album is so different from the others, I really love it. The harmonies really add a nice touch that isn't as present on the other albums.
Watching this video live gave me chills. It was just so beautiful on the widescreen, with booming visuals. Totally a different experience than even watching it on RUclips.
Growing up there I can attest that the landscape matches him and his recent work with Puscifer. The Verde Valley and and Sedona and Jerome by where he lives is magical.
Found you guys by watching the show Yellowstone and hearing this while the credits rolled at the end of one of the episodes. I am digging everything I have heard so far.
I've been a huge TOOL fan since the beginning of them. A Perfect Circle was ok but felt they lacked something. Never even listened to anything from Puscifer until last month. I have since bought every album and realize the pure level of talent that Maynard really possesses. His voice in Tool was powerful. His voice in A Perfect Circle seems to have no limit on range and energy. His voice in Puscifer is not as strong but the quality is so much higher.. He is not over driven by technically prefect multi time signature drumming, and guitar riffs that hypnotize you. Tool was just a beginning for this man's journey into art. He has branched his brand into winemaking, which I have tried, and is very good at it. He is currently leading a book tour while live readings that seem to sell out everywhere he goes. This song and video are a simple expression of one small part of his abilities. Long live Tool, APC, and Pusicfer.. Long live Mayard James Keenan.. May he keep entertaining us for many years to come.
Kevin Gauthier listen to Potions by Puscifer. I think Maynard still has fantastic range for his age considering how much he has screamed haha. But yeah up against the high notes in Tool's The Pot and A Perfect Circle's 3 Libras nothing in Puscifer's catalog comes close.
I have no idea how I have never gotten into Puscifer either, but wow what a fucking pleasure. Hearing this stuff just trumps APC's new album to pieces.
Thank you for easing my grieving process of losing my godmother a couple of days ago, I'll never forget her Chiles rellenos, her oat milk and her love to listen to CCR and stay in peace with God, this song has been somehow a catharsis
Went to the APC, Puscifer, and Primus show last night in Clarkson, MI. They played this song at the end of the night. There was lightning on the horizon, but it didn't rain on the concert. It was beautiful and magical all at once.
Just got back from the Bright Angel Trail yesterday. There is something special about the Canyon, beyond anything else you can experience anywhere else. If you haven't been, make sure you go before you die. There is nothing comparable.
GCNP is great, but "nothing comparable" clearly tells me you haven't visited much/most/any of southern Utah. Bear's Ears, The Maze, Valley Of The Gods, Monument Valley (Tribal Park, not National Park), most of the area around Moab, and so very many others that really make the GC just okay.
this song is definitely helpful with my anxiety about passing on. Its SUCH a beautiful song and visual combo. The idea that "standing on the edge of forever" - i mean, mother nature is soooooooo great
I remember going to the Grand Canyon in 2016. I remember the Grand Canyon whispering to my ears "I'm a song and want you to be witnessing my majesty". So here I am again, witnessing the majesty of MJK Music, whatever the band !

I love puscifer. They are in my top 5. The only band sticker I have ever adorned on my vehicle, because I don't like to advertise myself much. The vocal harmonies, lyrics, instruments... It's truly something I've been searching for all of my life!
This brings back one of my very favourite memories of being in South Africa in 2008, standing on the viewing platform over God's Window. Without a doubt the most beautiful, incredible, majestic sight I have ever seen in my life. Like the Grand Canyon crossed with the Amazon rainforest. Standing there surrounded by wildlife made my spirit sing. How I would love to go back.
Omg Maynard’s voice. Never fails! Gives me chills & goosebumps. So beautiful thank you for your visuals and art in everything you guys do. Big! Maynard fan here!

indeed, every damn time....and totally on topic: (just nosey of course!) would that happen to be a 4-AcO chain yer wearing?!
My Mom was always worried that our move to Arizona might not have been the right thing, I made sure to thank her, right before she died, for bringing me HOME. Arizona is my life and my soul. This is everything I love and everything I need and everything I cherish.
This song is like a mantra.
No it isn't
@@breadoflifefaiupu8992 Mantra:
1. (originally in Hinduism and Buddhism) a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation.
"a mantra is given to a trainee meditator when his teacher initiates him"
2. statement or slogan repeated frequently.
"the environmental mantra that energy has for too long been too cheap"
This song literally uses repeated lines and sounds talking about witnessing the beauty of the world while acknowledging the timelessness of it and of the idea of forever.
Hinduism is all about it's endless cycle and talks of timescales of +4 billion years.
This song can definitely ACTUALLY be used as a Mantra for meditation and to say it is LIKE a Mantra is therefore completely accurate.
You sir, are incorrect.
@@victorqwilleran3331 It is my mantra, I close my eyes and the first stanza of this song is what I sing to myself and repeat, and it brings me out of anxiety and fear.
"Though lost as I may be
Though in the fog of my own noise and triviality...
Grand Holy Mother, grant me clarity!
I am standing on the edge of forever..."
It always pulls me right back and puts things in perspective. Calms my mind. It's such a beautiful song
More like a chant.
It’s far better live
This is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard. Maynard's voice is so powerful as is actually seeing the Grand Canyon, and being an Arizonan, I can totally appreciate the connection. Thanks Maynard for the years of your inspiring and awesome music! Hope it continues for a long time...
Hope, as far as one can see...
I love all his Arizona References, howdy fellow Arizonan, greetings from White River.
Maynard will forever be one of the most amazing human beings to ever live. musical freaking genious
6 years later and this song is still so good and timeless.
8 years and still moves me.
Yeah you still like the song? Nice 👍🏻
I always find myself coming back to this song and video. It honestly makes me feel a little better about people.
don't lose hope when everyone else has
Also don't read any comments below this one. This is the best video on the Internet, and it won't get any better if you keep reading.
Better about people? I find the two people at the end scary and I have nightmares in my head.....
id lick his brain cuz I'm totally that kind of fan LMAO...(jokes guys)(I'm married!)
You had it on point Joe! Turns out it’s Maynard’s favorite song
I'm form Arizona and THIS is the BEST video of the state I've ever seen. It truly it's the beauty of the desert. Thank you!
This should be the official anthem of planet Earth, I'm certain every alien will love this
Honestly, Maynard's lyrics throughout his bands and his singing... have helped me a lot. I'm going through some tough shit in my life but it's ultimately a personal test. I need to work through it and Tool especially have helped me so much so far. This song helps me let go and stop holding in my emotions. It's like a release. Thank you.
💖
Same dude
I feel you
I’m 50, I was fortunate to experience Tool and A Perfect Circle in the late nineties and early 2000, I left the concerts with a feeling of euphoria, a biological high but I was completely sober so the memory is carved into my soul.
I think he knows it, too, to this day.
Absolutely agree! what’s that saying … “Like attracts like” ✨
@@b.i.k.i.b.i.k.iYes! Water seeks its own level!
Huge TOOL fan and have never been able to get into Puscifer. This song just changed my mind. Amazing
Mike Oslund listen to "Momma Sed". The vibe will give you chills
Mike Oslund and also check Horizons. What an AMAZING SONG!
Carlos Spicy Weiner live at club Nokia is better than the CD version I think.
Mike Oslund Listen to the entire album of conditions of my parole..... fucking amazing
Mike Oslund So you haven't really heard Maynard in 10 years. I couldn't even begin to imagine what that's like.
How cool it is that the Grand Canyon gets to say "I'm in a Puscifer music video?"
How cool it is that the Puscifer gets to say "I'm in the Grand Canyon."
brandon caz how can one reply be so unoriginal and so unfunny at the same time?
Matthew Thomas lmao...
+Matthew Thomas I'm on a boat!
+XsV=TooL I'm on a Rock... And it's crying as I try to comfort it.. This may take forever.
Months and years will pass, but I will always return to this song. Thank you Maynard
Just decided to play this song at my dads funeral service. Hope, forever, beauty, grace, such megalithic, dynamic sound.
One of my favorite songs of all time. I could listen to this on repeat for days
when Maynards voice comes in though...*goosebumps*...
Then.... yawn.
No way... 3:42....
Honestly been a Tool fan for a long ass time. I never really listened to much Puscifer. Today I am really glad I haven't spent much time on them yet.
I am from Arizona. This is the anthem of my home. Thank you, Maynard.
Hopi
Dear gods, chills up my spine. That was a freaking *invocation.*
Everyone's talking about Maynard's vocals, but what about those impeccable harmonies that Carina Round and Juliette Commagere (or Mahsa Zargaran live) are performing here? Stunning vocal work, absolute perfection.
Not to mention the videography. Although I prefer Rocky Mtn Natl Park!
hands down, puscifer was the best show I've attended. it was more than music - it was a show. if any of you have an opportunity to see them live, don't let that window of opportunity close on you.
I missed Puscifer when they came near me (Tulsa) due to life. I shall not again if they return to my domain :)
I wish you the best!
Man his voice in this song... Goosebumps!
"Grand Canyon"
Lost as I may be
All in the fog of my own noise and triviality
Grant, Holy Mother, grant me clarity
I am standing on the edge of forever... forever...
One among infinity
Witnessing the majesty
Calm in this humility
Witnessing the majesty
Hope as far as one can see
Witnessing the majesty [x3]
Standing on the edge of forever
Blessed that be in
Is reawakening
Grant, Holy Mother and my deathly slumber
To stand fearless on the edge of forever... forever...
One among infinity
Witnessing the majesty
Calm in this humility
Witnessing the majesty
Hope as far as one can see
Witnessing the majesty [x6]
Standing on the edge of forever
Hope as far
As one can see
As one can see

Yeeeeeessssssss
Thank you 🙏🏻
Magnificent 🥰
Thank you 🤜🤛
I just wrote this on my wall regarding this song.
The desert is magical.
Carina Round knocks another one out of the park! (NATIONAL PARK LOL) amazing track, amazing talent!
Gotta love the beautiful state of AZ. It's been my home for 30 years.
Watching this video live gave me chills. It was just so beautiful on the widescreen, with booming visuals. Totally a different experience than even watching it on RUclips.
This needs about 15 million more views.
More like Six Billionizoids. Plus the entire population of THree TOed SLoths!!
Where are they from??
Peggy Ferrera I believe they are in California.
I thought Arizona..... am I wrong?
The band are from California, The Grand Canyon is predominantly in Arizona (although Carina Round is from the UK).
Arizona looks stunning..Maynard seems very inspired there
I consider this the unofficial anthem of Arizona. I wish I could travel to Arizona in the near future. It looks amazing
Growing up there I can attest that the landscape matches him and his recent work with Puscifer. The Verde Valley and and Sedona and Jerome by where he lives is magical.
It IS stunning! I live not far from Jerome, AZ where Maynard lives. I go up and have lunch and visit the Puscifer store.
I am from Arizona. And the great red desert is glorious.
Found you guys by watching the show Yellowstone and hearing this while the credits rolled at the end of one of the episodes. I am digging everything I have heard so far.
Travel to Arizona from Puerto Rico two times just to see THE MAGESTY.
This song, Maynard’s voice, the lyrics. The production. All of It. It makes me fold myself inward. Beauty
Both of the "One Among Infinity" shots send chills down my spine. This song is the answer to life
I have loved Tool and APC....I just now discovered Puscifer... I don't know why anyone would complain...this is amazing!
I just saw them last night in Orlando and this band is fantastic.
Justin Williams bullshit they are both amazing
That was dumb puscifer sucks
That voice makes me high. Keep singing always Maynard James -- in all your venues. I too am glad you are alive when I am.
you´ll never know what to get. Experiance music. Fall in and get overwhelming
One of my all-time favorite songs. I am so fortunate to live in such a lovely state - Arizona. Such a magical place...
+AZ Hightower except for these damn allergies this time of year.
Got the chills as soon as the verse started!
wow dope song
And to think, all this song is about is his visit to the Grand Canyon and how amazing and beautiful it was
this cinematography is brilliant. and the song is great!
Utah 💚💙💚💙💚💙
I wish youtube had a "repeat" option. I'd just listen to this on repeat all day.
You are awesome. Thank you!
A bit late but: right click and then hit "loop" option. Enjoy mate!
This song is great, but this video is just plain beautiful!
Thank you
Thank you for easing my grieving process of losing my godmother a couple of days ago, I'll never forget her Chiles rellenos, her oat milk and her love to listen to CCR and stay in peace with God, this song has been somehow a catharsis
Blessed be our Father. Reverend Maynard speaks the new gospel. Wake up. Realize this reality as a holy gift. Better late than never.
This is the song Earth wants played at her funeral.
The album is another masterpiece.
Went to the APC, Puscifer, and Primus show last night in Clarkson, MI. They played this song at the end of the night. There was lightning on the horizon, but it didn't rain on the concert. It was beautiful and magical all at once.
I was there too. The show was my birthday gift to myself and it was fabulous.
The crowd was amazing at that show. I swear it sounded like the entire place was singing Judith. Great vibes that night.
One of the best songs and best videos ever!!!! Grand holy mother grant me CLARITY!!!!!! Goosebumps.
Maynard’s wine is fantastic!
The idea that "standing on the edge of forever" - i mean, mother nature is soooooooo great
I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it-Mark Twain
I live and work here, this is a beautiful video and a great reminder of why I'm here standing on the edge of forever!
The desert is a wonderful space to find yourself in. When I'm lost, I go to Big Bend.
I remember going to the Grand Canyon in 2016.
I remember the Grand Canyon whispering to my ears "I'm a song and want you to be witnessing my majesty".
So here I am again, witnessing the majesty of MJK Music, whatever the band !
heard some chiptune parts in there
almost cried in joy
Love Puscifer so very much
Im so please with this
beautiful
What are chiptune parts? Spell check don't even know about it
Heard this song for the first time live. I cried, so beautiful
[Verse 1]

Witnessing the majesty
Hope as far as one can see
Witnessing the majesty [x3]
Standing on the edge of forever

This reawakening
Grand Holy Mother end my deathly slumber to
Stand fearless on the edge of forever
Forever
[Chorus]
[Outro] [x4]
Hope as far

And this, is what I call ... a true eargasm.
Music has reached a new level with this song.
the mario sounds are great. adds to how great this song is
+Matt Waters haha
Omg Maynard’s voice. Never fails! Gives me chills & goosebumps. So beautiful thank you for your visuals and art in everything you guys do. Big! Maynard fan here!
Witness ing the majesty.....in front of me...sitting on the edge of forever......with you in this instant.....can you feel me see the majesty....
Thank you for your fantastic energy and ridiculously perfect music..... cheers. ❤️
Blessed be!
Thanx Mr Keenan for this amazing work of art. Can't wait for the new upcoming album.
Kind of reminds me to "Right where it belongs" by Nine Inch Nails
"standing on the edge of forever"
we are all on the edge of forever, and do time we all fall eventually.
Never seen so many positive comments. powerful music thank you mjk from all of us
