I was reading the legendborn book. It was a slow start for me. And I wad pretty distracted when I started the book. So far I could read 170 pages and I had to dnf it. I really didn't want to dnf it but it was taking so long and I didn't want to spend a whole month in the book. So I had to take that touches step to put it down. I hope in future I pick it again and read it.
i actually agree with you. i felt the world building was a little all over the place with all the new names and it was a little slow in the first half. but it got soo much better in the last 40% i loved the ending. i would say try to pick it up when you have more brain power to just push through the first half.. although the ending was a little predictable i felt that it was worth it..
i thought anthology was only used for collection of poems?? didn’t know it could be used for any other piece of literature lol 😭 the mind fuck series is fun ( and gruesome ) let me know if you like it 🫶🏼

The mind fuck series sounds like an anthology I always wanted to read an anthology book
