    Great video and thanks for the free templates, criticism is good as long as it is constructive, keep it up, man.

    You-da-man on free handing the dowels. I've just started to try them and I'm definitely in the "use a jig" stage. Nice project as usual.

    dude you've got a fantastic shop but where is your vise? there was some major pucker factor when you were drilling out the dowel pockets

    Great video and very nice job too, The only thing I would do differently is, I would have stack drill and cut the slots for the hats, that way both sides would be identical.

      I was thinking the same. It would be a good way to widen the design and ensure they are still somewhat lined up... Like if this turned into a fishing pole rack.

    Cool. This might help me cause I have a lot of Blackhawks hat and I've lost 2 I the past month so this might help me keep track of them lol. I probably won't be wearing them anytime soon because we just got swept by the preds tho

    Hey man. is the size of the hole at the end of each slot of any real consequence? why not use a hole the same diameter as the width of each slot so that each slot is just a slot with a curved end rather than that 'key hole' (for lack of better description) looking slot?

    Great video! But why use spray adhesive for attatching cutting templates?? It seems messy, expensive and very smelly. I'd suggest using regular old glue stick or a tiny bit of woodglue. And if your project is really rough, just use staples.
    EDIT: Also, don't run big forstner bits so quickly! They'll cut much better at a slower RPM!

    • @isakwatz11
      @isakwatz11 7 лет назад +1

      I could see spray adhesive being somewhat useful when attatching large templates.
      Also, I'd like to say your videos are great. You along with many other youtube woodworkers have inspired me to build my own projects. Keep on making things!

      To each his own, I prefer spray adhesive myself. Goes on easier and quicker, the type I use has no odor and no residue.

    Why did you make it so wide? You don't need that much space in between the hats, it made it look dumb
