This is all marketing. Stern is trying to do distributors a "favor" by setting urgency and fomo to push sales to "help" distributors. This all means nothing and is just to fix the market they flooded. Also they hope this will drive up secondary market and instil confidence in NIB buyers as Stern hopes to see secondary market prices go up because games are in the "vault"
Stern's taking a page out of car manufacturing. Rather than keep producing but cut prices to move product, they cut production to preserve the pricing they have. They'll reassess after the next 2 quarters to see where the market stands.
Deadpool, especially the Pro edition, is one of their all time best games and they are going to shut down production of it. That's an instant hang head, shake head, and facepalm.
Doesn't anyone remember beanie babies and the artificial scarecety scam? Stern pinball buyers obviously don't but it will be a lesson they will never forget.
Mandalorian is my favorite game. Agree with you about SW comic being the rare one of the newly vaulted bunch. The good news is there is enough of almost any Stern game out there to make them available. Maybe the exceptions are LOTR and TRON. Thanks
I think the economy is slow, the market is flooded with pinball saturation, and the secondary market is brimming with deals right now. The only people interested in this news would be panic crowd. Interesting idea to create a push for sales, but much like the return of the twipys, I think paint drying is probably more interesting at the moment.
Stern is such a clown company lately. Pushing out junk machines that aren't finished for years until after you buy. This company is where good quality and creativity goes to die.
This video is trying to hard to be negative. Haters gonna hate. It is likely they are just making more room for new titles to come in. The speculation always been from a negative lens is tiring. I don't understand modern humanity.

The only one I don't see why is Iron Maiden -- i think the license expired

too funny
@@peggrav8190 it’s true, if you watch marketplace or pinside a lot of pins are just sitting prices are way too high and inventory is the same.
