Love the review as usual, for potential buyers I think you'll find its a 600mm barrel as shroud is longer than barrel, also mine has a last stop shot on magazines, think they modified them when they put the anti ping in on the later models, agree though very accurate gun and love it :)

We have one on loan at the range I use . It fits me perfectly , comfy , it shoots like a lazer and isnt bothered by all the different pellets that have been put through it

Great review , can you confirm which barrel length this was ? I have been informed sub 12lb aparenty the compact is more accurate ? Any chance of doing a follow up on the caparisons of both or some further insight ? Tbh would prefer the 600mm but all depends if there is a massive diffeence between the two.

Mr Racknload, nice review as always. My question for you. At what point are we being asked to pay too much ? When will the manufacturers have to encrust the internals with jewels like a swiss watch, because there is nothing else that can be done to inflate the prices ? £2000 plus worth of sub 12 ft rifle in the hands of a capable shooter, produces the same results as something half, or even a third of the price. Shoot a dozen targets at 40 yards or more, with a range of differently priced PCPs. All firing pellets that suit that particular rifle. Then see if the most expensive models stand out. Or don't. It has all come down purely to aesthetics. No game changes, just the old stuff wrapped up in posh frocks.
Having said my piece. I have to say that as an avid air gun enthusiast, I like all the other minion's would love this in my collection.
I see it as a positive,after all everything is like that - how does a Bentley Continental get you from a to b any better than a Ford Fiesta? How much better is a Rolex watch at telling the time than a £10. casio? Why pay hundreds of pounds for a posh meal when bacon,chips & beans is just as satisfying (my favourite meal)

Just picked up on something. You said your test riffle was 700 mm in .177 but according to the specs the 700mm comes in .22 and .25 so your test riffle must have been 600mm. Excellent video regardless.
This is 600 mm for sure.

The red cap that was it the box is to put on the barrel when you re-fill the gun after de-gassing.
I just received mine and was wondering what the red cap was for but why do you have to put it on the barrel after de gassing it?

Love the design! To be honest, I've had my eye on it for a while now, but, after having shot my HW98 while my HW100 was in for an overhaul, I fear I might have become a bit spoiled, because the lack of an adjustable cheek riser on my 100 is beginning to annoy me to no end. Like, I'm getting childish, throwing tantrums, lying down refusing to take one more step, and holding my breath till I pass out (or die, that'll teach 'em). A grown man shouldn't act like that. So, if I shelled out on one of these beauties, I have a nagging suspicion I _might_ end up embarrassing myself again, due to lack of an adjustable cheek riser. But I do love the design, and so far I haven't heard a single bad thing about these rifles, except maybe that it _could_ do with a bit of Picatinny further out to the front. Anyway, great review.
I cured that niggle on my own hw100k with the addition of a form chieftain stock. Not cheap admittedly but if you're otherwise happy with the 100 its cheaper than buying a new rifle.
@@karlmaddox1209 Granted, that _does_ look like a very nice stock, but I think I might ask a colleague for a bit of help as he's a bit of a wood artist, and I happen to have a bit of bandsaw. The rest I should be able to do myself. Come to think of it, I think I'm not really satisfied with the non-adjustable recoil (lol, what recoil?) pad either. But other than that, I'm pretty happy with the 100.

No it’s actually an AGT thing. I’ve got the 500mm Vulcan 3 and in 177 it’s a bit pinging. I love my AGT and can live with it. It’s not loud but next to your ear so more noticeable. Would not describe as awful but is subjective I suppose. Also could have mentioned the silencer thread is M14 and not a standard 1/2” UNF for potential buyer. Eagle vision do an adapter. 👍

@@racknload I can do better groups off supported stander with my Walther LG400 😆On 30 yards it should be max 10 mm groups.
