2023 in four minutes | Amsterdam Sinfonietta

With the new year approaching, we look back on 2023. We traditionally kicked off the year with the New Year's tour, together with guest artist Rufus Wainwright. We traveled through three countries with Lucie Horsch and toured Europe with Mendelssohn's moving last string quartet. Highlights absolutely were the collaboration with the Nederlands Kamerkoor in the sacred program Spiegel im Spiegel, the Sinfonietta String Festival Zeeland, the performance with master cellist Steven Isserlis and the concerts on timeless poetry by Iranian poets. We ended the year with a sold-out tour through the Netherlands and Germany with Lucas and Arthur Jussen.
A memorable moment was the farewell of founder and cellist Maarten Mostert, followed the next day by a concert for the Dutch and Belgian royal couple during their state visit to Belgium.
