I'm always astonished when I come back to hear Candida's company of musicians play this wonderful piece. There ought to be at least a million views. I suppose with all the junk music around, that says something about how unadventurous most listeners can be.

Thank you for posting this recording! I’m glad a string orchestra arrangement exists of this piece - where could I find the sheet music?
Heinrich Ignaz Biber is hardly Italian, but he is an interesting composer just the same -:) And, jokes aside, Candida Thomson is really great.
