If you look carefully a few seconds before, you see someone's hand come up above his bell. I believe the cello player removes the mute for him. You see the mute laying near the cello after that.

@@WDRKlassik I thought this velocity could only be played on a tuba with valves (like Oystein Baadsvik) and not on pistons. My informations where wrong ! 😁
Verstehe von dem Instrument zu wenig, glaube also, dass es virtuos ist. Für mich macht die Tuba aber aus dem vor Freude und Energie explodierenden Tanz zum großen Teil eine Elegie bis Trauermarsch.
