This is what I want. Too much stuff is overwhelming and more difficult to manage and maintain. High quality, low quantity. I can’t afford the designer stuff (& not sure I even want it) but I like the principle.
if these are your all 4 seasons clothes, it's pretty 'small' I would say. other people would stack one wardrobe for each season. but this is also how I would imagine if I live in 4 seasons country. I love everything on display if I have the space. in fact it's quite hassle to take out your items and keep them every time the season has passed

We do have two separate closets for Colder & Warmer Seasons, partly bc it keeps Our Wool Garments safe from Moths! One closet has Cedar in it & I also store Long Evening Wear & Spare Bedding in it.
I am, however, slowly downsizing My Wardrobe & do have my garments in my active closet about 1/2-1" apart from each other, bc I'm a Perfectionist & everything has to be just so-so! Lol
I replenish my garments about every 2-3yrs (altho I do keep some things for many years) I take the Clothes I no longer need or desire to a Resale Boutique! (You'd be surprised how much money you can make by doing this!) So right now, I wouldn't be able to use this system, but I do really love yours, Eileen!

Very elegant, it’s is like a lifestyle goal. I have started to upgrade my wardrobe from fast fashion. I was the kind of girl who went into Zara every week and never left empty handed- I have sold most of them- half still had the tag on- I was crying when I first made a declutter and a Chanel bag price were on the tags in total. I started with to have a Longchamp bag, gold or silver jewelry only and quality elevated basics from brands like Sezane. In March I have purchased my first Hermès silk scarve after your inspiration. Now I want to start upgrade my sunglasses and belts for luxury ones. I could believe that I can afford it by a little effort 💕

Even though you want to see all of your items, I think when it is warmer weather, it’s OK to store your parka’s, and your heavy coats away from view, at least get a shallow box to lie all of your coats in and slide that under the bed. You’ll be happier when you can see Space in your closet
☺️ I like what you did at the end there. It's smart (especially as a minimalist) to have empty spaces, leaving them intentionally open as a reminder of how much space you have when you're out wanting to make possible purchases, forcing you to be mindful IF you have the space for new items to not create clutter. 😀 Very smart!! I will be using this method as I reorganize and declutter my spaces (wardrobe especially). Having empty drawers, shelves & looser hanging racks will definitely be helpful. Thanks for sharing!!! ✌🏽&❤️

This was wonderful to see...I do have a bit more purging to do but I must say, it's so hard to part ways with the items I still enjoy owning, no matter how many I own. I am actually wearing more of my clothes now... I'm finding quickly, what still work and don't for me.

A lovely video for a Saturday morning watch with my cup of tea! I am also on a decluttering journey and begin to notice my wardrobe now has "breathing space". I keep my pretty bags in a separate narrow shelf (I intentionally bought a tall narrow (versus a wide) one to remind me not to buy too many bags as they won't fit!) with a glass door so it's on display while being protected from dust.

Eileen, I JUST copied your storage drawer idea to hold tall boots, laying on their side. I have two pairs and they fit perfectly - they kept falling over in the closet!
