Just like the title says...it's honestly not as glamorous as ypu would think being a small business owner!
There is so much work thst goes unto it that few ever see!
With two businesses to run, it is honestly stressful and can be overwhelming.
As I say, it is a reminder of feeling overwhelmed by too much, I am thankful for that, as it could easily be overwhelmed by too little.

Michael, I am right there with you. My wife is an attorney, and we just purchased our own law firm in NM. It can be so stressful knowing how your employees/clients are all counting on you. Love both of your channels. You inspired me to start a vintage glass collection. I also think you and Richard are too cute together! 😊

My favorite Aunt Jenny worked for hotels for decades. She said she have seen it all - most people were okay and courteous but there were some - so nasty and unbelievably messy. Micheal, thanks for reminding me that my current troubles are blessings to have. It could be much worse.

@erinnkemp. Please get your facts right!!!!! I’m an RN and it’s HEP C. And only if contaminated by a person with it and if you have an open cut and are not vaccinated!!!! And even then you may not get it depending on your immunity!!!!! I’ve been an RN for 40+ years and Never gotten it!!!! (gloves and no gloves!!). There are plenty of other diseases you can get, just wash your hands, nothing replaces hand washing with warm water and lots of soap!!!
Lots of germs around including fecal matter! Gloves aren't am option😳

The more grateful you are, the more things you aquire to be grateful for which I am sure you are well aware,, I totally dig this second channel of yours and it was a great idea and I don't know what it is about like reality t.v. or reality 'living your life's day to day everyday tasks we all do that is soooo appealing to watch of people that are intriguing to a person but I'm hooked..

You guys are such a team and I love that. I do suggest for some jobs you wear gloves. Also, there's nothing like going into a spotless, spotless, and did I say spotless hotel room, Airbnb, whatever accommodations and have ZERO proof that any other human or mammal of any type was previously there.
MT you are such a joy! Never not once in my lifetime has Anyone! Ever said to me,,I will spare you the details of toilet cleaning! Just think Micheal, you are the only person on this earth that has done that for me or the other hundreds of toilet cleaning persons that has watched this marvelous video!!

Wow guys, Id totally be your Temporary Tammy if you were hiring.lol❤ You two fascinate me, and I am positive I was a fancy, upperclass, extremely attractive,wealthy,homosexual male in atleast one of my past lives...who decorated better than any Ladies Home Journal, Elder Beerman or Lazarus window display artist, Picasso, or gosh dang Martha Stewart herself.Oh, and also more organized than that Chinese woman who is famous for organization and folding.

I can see the loveliness within the mess! I spent a lot of time in hotels because of company transfers and became friendly with the hotel staff. What surprised me was the number of men that would order room service and open the door totally nude. Witnessed it with the guy in the room across from mine and asked the staff member if that happened very often…all the time. I guess sometimes it could have been considered a perk, depending upon the appearance of the guy.😅
I worked in a hotel for 12 years & I would often help out in housekeeping. It is hard (& sometimes nasty) work. I agree about the towels. 😊

I worked at a Holiday Inn for about 12 too.. I started out at Front Desk, Management, Night Auditor, QA, but my best times were,,, as I could have access to the property... I love going to Laundry.. and help the ladies fold towels.. my family owned the hotel and as kids we could make money working at the hotel... It was a destination spot here in Florida back in the 70s and 80s

Oh you are brave to clean without wearing gloves. The Inn is just beautiful and your work & shipping area is far neater than mine, but I'm doing a BIG clean and purge starting 1/1/24.

I used to work two jobs and my part-time one was a maid. People could be so gross. I remember one time the State Boys Basketball tournaments were going on. The boys that were in one of the rooms spit all over in the tub/shower. I have to guess the whole team must have contributed. I have never seen anything like it. It was disgusting and if they hadn't already checked out l would have found the coaches and showed them how utterly gross their boys were. I gagged the whole time. Yes I had gloves on.
Sug, none of your viewers assumed there was any glamour 😮- we are moms/nurses/maids/etc😅 been doing all of this 30-60 years. Wiping butts, cleaning toilets, as well as snotty noses and even tears. Love ya as always but buck up sweetie. Elizabeth

If I may, suggest a hand held steamer for the bathrooms it so comes in handy for other things people may bring in with them. like 🪳and the other bugs hard to get rid of. lol
