I agree. I absolutely loved splinter cells 1 to 3. I remember them being actually challenging. Having to die multiple times to learn how to beat certain areas of a level. Felt real and row. Every splinter cell after that turned into a hollywood action movie. What I hate most is the ability to spot every freaking enemy through walls and they just stay spotted ez mode.

All the advancements in graphics and computing technology we've made through the years and NPC AI is still virtually the same as it was 20 years ago... They can sometimes duck behind cover, but will often just stand out in the open and wait to get killed.
Hang in there. Reasoning, Adapting, improvising, acting enemy models will be coming to games in the next few years. It's going to be INCREDIBLE. The first game that tackle this well will be an instant classic for the ages, like Half Life 2 with pyhsics.

Honestly I'm really digging this. I know a lot of things look really rough in the gameplay, but this is alpha footage. The sounds, animations, and visuals will definitely get much more polish before release, so I'm not too worried. What I really love is how surreal the world is. One minute you're on an oil tanker, next you're in a maze of an art gallery, then in some kind of scifi research facility. I have no idea what the story is or why the environments keep shifting, but I'm intrigued.
This game has the look and feel of dark sector from ps3 except with guns and even his suit and character looks exactly the same. That game was good. I can't wait until this comes to ps5.

Former Sea and Mountain Rescue crewmen here. Yes vessels like this one can hold art, exotic vehicles and even gold for high network families. I’ve boarded one with a research lab and medical suite for a prominent family in my country.
The art gallery was in a different location entirely. The door he passed through on the boat didn't lead to a room on the boat. It was a portal to another location / dimension. That's a big premise of the game: Non-euclidean spaces.
The running animation and the speed he’s moving do not match. He’s moving at a brisk walking pace, but looks like he’s lightly jogging. It looks weird.
Why isn't the main character wearing a helmet or something. Why go through the trouble to have a super suit but leave your head exposed. It looks nice, but it seems to be a graphics engine presentation, not a full game.
There was a game called “Fear” some old people might remember. I got in a shootout in a corridor lined with the typical boxes and such for cover, got killed. The next time I got to the hallway, surprise no baddies? As I walked down the hall a grenade casually rolled in front of me from a doorway on my right, killed me again. It was different each time. I’m not sure if they coded the AI that way or if they had several sets of random responses but I will always remember that dramatic change in the npc’s tactics. Fun game.

They turned the entire gaming industry upside down by releasing the most graphically realistic and detailed game yet. Future shooters will have to be measured against this title. The entire project was completed toward the end with only 32 employees. The low FPS animation of the sea will be fixed with future updates.
The cleanest ship / environment of all time. It will only look 'realistic' when developers stop creating clinically clean environments in places that should actually be dirty. It looks good - but not "realistic" at all
Please note that the luxury liner belongs to a billionaire who insists on the pristine cleanliness shown. He uses the ship as a modern museum to showcase himself and his artifacts to his guests.
It's not perfect but for me it has alot ot very cool Details, it feels right when the Glas shatters and all the stuff in the lab flys around and breaks, plus the when you shoot some one it has impact and the Enemys behave very realistic...Could turn out very Interesting!
I know this is too much to ask but add some character model and face animations. Like in RDR2, make character scratch, smell, cough and react at times. Maybe a little more physics of breaking objects. The sound design os great and graphics are obviously the best in history. The gameplay looks fun and realistic. The background and texture is photo realistic and as good as it could be. This is great work, can't wait to play this.
I love the concept of the elite salvaging their relics using portals or pocket dimensions, whilst the world is going through catastrophe. Makes grounds for an interesting villain.

I hope it's not like that, but nowadays the industry is focused on releasing games that are more and more graphically realistic but are empty in terms of content.
When I saw this kind of scene, I almost couldn’t figure out reality and virtuality. I felt that the sense of immersion was so strong that I seemed to be really in the game.

This game looks great! The only thing I could say is that me being an army guy, those guns on his back are a bit small. Just the trigger assembly, looks like his fingers are so big they couldn't even fit in to pull the trigger lol. But I also know it's alpha footage, but yeah. Make the guns a bit bigger! The rifle on his back, the muzzle should be slightly grazing his butt cheek when he runs or walks, as a frame of refrence.
And when he pulls the charging handle when we puts in a fresh mag. So dumb. Don't they know by now that the bolt locks back to the rear when the mag is empty? 😆

MGS is undoubtedly number one, but this video game falls short of expectations. The graphics and technical quality aren't realistic, leading to a very poor experience 👎. It’s disappointing to see a game like this, especially on next-gen consoles, where we would expect much more, particularly with the new Unreal Engine 5 🤦🏻♂️
Looks great. I think the "battles" are a bit too quiet - like there needs to be an alarm goign off in the background once youve been sighted. Make you feel more rushed to do something about it so things can quiet back down...makes the battle more intense.
Looks way more closer to a Next-Gen concept of Splinter Cell than anything. With that said, stealth should be prioritized. There's no way he could've gotten away with what he got away with, in this gameplay, in real life
The environment is quite amazing, the visual effects including ray tracing is astounding as well. However, the hair and the face? Not so much… I hope they fix those before the actual release.
Looks good, think it will be good. Just the sneaking up makes alot of noise it's the footsteps or weapons and the enemies cant hear it. But it's very loud for a sneak😂

FEAR has an AI system called G.O.A.P. it's a solid play-like-with-real-human system but it's complexity makes it not the first choice by gave devs.

Looks great. I think the "battles" are a bit too quiet - like there needs to be an alarm goign off in the background once youve been sighted. Make you feel more rushed to do something about it so things can quiet back down...makes the battle more intense.
