@@AllHailJulio well exactly a remake does all of that, new graphics and controls, BTW you can change it to the old controls and old cameras angle. and its not "lazy"
This remake is a pure remake. The devs stated, during yesterday's update, that it is not in their intention to modify things that could alter the essence of the game.
What I hope to see get remade are the VERY first 2. I'm talking about Metal Gear 1 and 2, for old school 8 bit OG NES. Alot of people dont actually realize that Metal Gear Solid was actually the 3RD game in the series.
the environment looks amazing but the character movement feels like off, its not fluent, doesnt fit to the environment, . why dont just they copy the movement of snake from Phantom Pain, its more realistic.
I played all the Metal Gear. The first was Metal Gear Solid in 1997. Crazy game, the best ever, the story has no equal. I’ll be happy to buy this remastering.
I got the demo in a playstation magazine and was blown away. The moment the guys staryed following my footprints i knew i was playing a different kind of game id never seen befpre.
I think people aren’t used to seeing an actual stealth game, most newer mg fans played mgsV and revengence, the original trilogy just has slower paced movements and those help with the carful planning that you needed.
@@KlaytonNabalca856 in MGS1-3 The animation's looked a lot heavier, running animations felt slower paced and methodical in response to the entire setting of the game. The running animation here looks very floaty compared to the realistic, heavy-ish running animation we got back in the OG games.
Yeah, this gameplay looks beautiful and the movement is true to the original. My only thing is that I thought they said that the map would be one fluent map and they were getting rid of the transitions when you entered a new area. That takes away the immersion for me tbh.
I hope the ridiculously late rolling attack from the original is still possible. It wasn't realistic but it was really impressive to see people use it to great effect in speed runs.
at least the people who only know metal gear from Fortnite and MGSV will be able to enjoy these now. Just sad those people prefer graphics and trends over actual "artistic expression" that the limitations of the PS2 era gave. Here's Hoping for MGS2 Remake! I tried so hard to like snake eater, my first introduction to the series was msgv and I fell in love, but what kept me from getting into the game and playing through more than the first few missions, was the controls and camera angles, graphics were decent for its time and mechanics weren't an issue, what made it hard was how unintuitive the controls were when paired with the fixed camera angles
Man, I’m about to fight The Sorrow in the original within the Master Collection. I’m so happy! When I was a kid with the 2DS the game crashed just before Volgins torture scene. And I couldn’t do anything else, but now I’m reliving my childhood memories and wondering how the heck I ever made it that far. The game is so wonderfully challenging without a button tutorial.
