The Gods: "Alright, we're pulling out." Celestials: "Understood, we're ready to leave when you are." The Yaksha: "We're staying! This is where we keep all our stuff!"
Yeah, why would I want to go anywhere? Reminds me of wondering why villains would want to destroy the world. "Why would I want to destroy the world? All my best evil happened here."
Witness of Earth doesn't state that you can't teach others the ritual like other feats do. So, you can teach your party how to do the ritual. Then you can get an atone if you need it from them.
Holy moley, I didn't expect this ancestry to be so enticing. I love the transition sound effect when switching to a spell demonstration. I like that you show us what the spell does.
During your Tanuki review I wanted to make a Tanuki. During this review I changed my mind - I want to create a Yaksha Kineticist or Oracle. Very excited. Too bad I'm a near forever DM
Hmm, I didn't know yaksha were a thing outside of Indian culture, but I guess knowlege of them travelled out to the east alongside Buddhism. I actually called the wood genies yaksha in my setting, before Paizo made actual wood genies so I didn't need my own name for them any more.
@@FenexTheFox I'm not sure what that is, I am not very clued up on lore outside of Indo-European cultures. I only encountered yaksha in their Hindu form.
@@WisdomCheck They are very cool, they feel a lot like a tutelary deity from mythology, except they shifted the focus from 'I guard this specific place' to 'I have a mission related to keeping things safe'. Which is a very cool idea for allowing things like yaksha to be a PC character. It could also be applied to things like nymphs/dryads if you wanted them to be playable. Your comparison of yaksha to the Exemplar is also a great note, playing a yaksha character hat literally thinks they are a god could be fun.
Yeah it would be a lot of fun. Lots of over-confidence to embody in roleplaying there. I didn't know that their lore is that they guard a specific place like Nymphs. You're right, it IS a clever way to allow for a Yaksha to be a PC.
Thought of nice thousand roofs yaksha. An earth & wood kineticist with meticulous crafter so it's very good in making housing and repairing their stuff
@@WisdomCheckJojo is kind of a hard anime to describe. The Japanese author has always been very interested in Western culture. Imagine the art style as a synthesis of western comic style and manga. The plots, especially early on are easily recognizable as common Western genres with a Japanese twist. The anime is separated into different “parts.” Each part being it’s own story line, calling back to and being influenced by previous parts. Overall, I would recommend it. It is a very unique anime in the manga/anime world and worth a watch. Would suggest watching each part in order.
The level 5 feat that gives a 1st-rank Protector Tree spell once per day actually seems really bad to me. Like, it's already a pretty mediocre spell even if fully-levelled. But at level 5, using 2 actions and a 1/day resource to *maybe* protect an ally from 10 damage as long as they happen to get hit by a strike while standing next to the tree and the tree doesn't just get obliterated by an AoE effect beforehand, that seems like a really bad deal. I'd never prepare/learn Protector Tree on a primal caster (just get Heal instead), the only reason it's good on the kineticist is because it's at-will.
Ok I GUESS I have to agree with you because it doesn't level as fast as a caster. If it did, that would be a big selling point. As it is, it's sometimes useful. But that's it.
Whoever is in charge of naming things these days is really on point. Love the feat names from the last few products
Who ever is naming these feats deserves a raise
Agreed! Very clever!
totally
The Gods: "Alright, we're pulling out."

"Nope, not getting out of this chair."
Yeah, why would I want to go anywhere?

lol yeah it's all comfy and worn in.
Was Vegeta a Yaksha all along ?
lol apparently
You are not a mere man, but a guardian spirit formed from the essence of the First World. That is AWESOME.
Hells yeah!!
Witness of Earth doesn't state that you can't teach others the ritual like other feats do. So, you can teach your party how to do the ritual. Then you can get an atone if you need it from them.
THAT is a great idea and a good point. I had not thought of that angle. Thank you. :D
“Inordinately enjoys puns and wordplay”
Oh no, I’m a Yaksha. XD
I wasn’t interested in Yaksha, but damn, this coverage is great!
lol yeah toodles, you are definitely a Yaksha. :D
And thanks!

Hahaaha good; thanks.
I'm glad seeing the spell helps too.
And I agree this is surprisingly amazing.

Yaksha are badass. Tanuki fuck with everybody. Both need to be in the same group. Maybe insert an NPC? I love having an NPC with the group.
Dude that shirt is one of the greatest ive ever seen
@@justingraves1291 heh Yeah it is! Teeturtle.
Oh my gods! Thank you for doing this video! I somehow knew I would loves Yakshas. They are so over the top and dramatic lol. Thank you again!
YES THEY ARE! They're just fun to READ about. I feel like begging my resident Weeb player to play one. I want to see this thing in action.

Ah gotcha. Cool. I like them a LOT.
As far as I know, InuYasha was named after yakshas. His name meaning "dog yaksha"

These guys are so Serious and Dedicated that I need to have an adventuring party with both a Yaksha and a Tanuki! They’d make a perfect Odd Couple.
HAHAHHAHAH oh god I'm going to ask my group if they'd be willing to do that.
Thought of nice thousand roofs yaksha. An earth & wood kineticist with meticulous crafter so it's very good in making housing and repairing their stuff
THAT'S AWESOME! A great idea for fitting with a Yaksha's vow.
Very wordy but perfect for me since I love edicts and anathema
Yeah roleplay restrictions gives you something to work with. Either to exemplify in your character or to rail against.
I love your vids
Hee hee thank you. :) I'm glad you're here too.
*unfurls flame hair*
AYAYAYAY *awaken my masters plays*
lol ok what? Is this from an Anime that I don't know?
@@WisdomCheck you've never heard of JoJo's bizarre adventure? Really?
Oh I've heard the name, now that I know where it's from. Is it good? I've been trying to watch more anime lately I'm currently watching Fairy Tale.

Respite of Loam and Leaf Flame Druid who burns blight from the plants and earth!
Yeah! That's cool. Yaksha lend themselves to very bold concepts.
"Inordinately enjoy puns or wordplay, being so familiar with carefully worded vows"... Anyone else immediately think of Fezzik from Princess Bride?
Hahahah I didn't but I am now. Perfect!
Anybody want a peanut?

Kineticist also has the advantage of auto scaling and the fact that they can create infinite permanent trees has a lot non combat applications

Can we do a Yaksha versital heritage Ardande with loam and leaf vow to go full plant spirit?
Hahha and then pull stuff Wardens of Wildwood? That would be awesome.
Me like 😂
They remind me of Ogun😊
Yeah totally! The guide into the Universe.
