In this video, we show you the installation steps for our 15+ Dodge Challenger Multicolor LED Boards. CAD-designed for the Challenger's headlights, this replacement LED board is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory units, giving you a clean, OEM-like look.
Our multicolor DRLs enable THOUSANDS of custom color options at the push of a button. When it's time to hit the road, you can instantly select a pure, bright white! This is thanks to separate white LEDs on each DRL board, making these fully RGBW capable, not just RGB.

This is the route to go IMO. I dislike the outside leds most go with that show the segmented leds.

I've been having problems with mine it keeps killing my battery
Question… once this is installed, you wont get the normal drl? You know the solid orange color thats used for the turn signals?

I SURE wish you'd make them in just plain white to replace the factory ones that fade and look yellowish. Not everyone wants a disco light show on their car.
Since the filming of this video 8 years ago, we have since offered more Halos options for the 2015-2021 Challenger!

Question, are these brighter than the stock halos? Only asking because on the road, the stock white halos are very dim compared to the Charger's daytime running lights and I personally don't think that's fair.
Hi there! Yes, these will be brighter than stock. The factory halos use small 1210-size LEDs, while our replacement boards utilize high-power RGBW LEDs instead!
just got them had a small issue but you guys are taking care of me just curious as to where you guys hid all the wires or if you have any suggestions as to where I can put all my wiring so it's not a hot mess under the hood ?

My 17' T/A Dodge Challenger driver side halo only lights partially when using Turn signal, Dash says "Turn signal out". Would replacing those boards help fix this? Or will the rings still not light completely, and "Turn signal off" will continue???

Will I still have the orange halo effect in the day time 😢 or does it eliminate that ?
With it being RGBW, you can choose any color, including amber!
Can i also use a normal led Remote i have one at home
You would have to custom wire it together, however, it could be possible. For the easiest install, we highly recommend using either our Bluetooth controller or the controllers we offer for the RGBW kits!

I just order a set for my 16 scat pac shaker can I wire them into the light switch and to a hot wire for show that way I don't have to have the headlights on at car show,s and way is there a 4-6 week wait

The remote controlled the man uses in the video is not in the package when you buy the Headlights, where can I find the handheld remote?

my audio connection dealer is paranoid about removing the headlight covers saying they don't always completely seal back. They say some customers have come back saying water has gotten into the headlights. Is this really a problem? Also, is there a Diode Dynamics dealer in my area that can do the install (21207, Baltimore)?
when installed will all the lights and halos turn on automatically as if it were factory-installed
So I finished installing these with the Bluetooth remote and one halo is green amd the other is yellow. Also with the 7 color fade the white is blue and the other purple. Is there a reason for this? Could they be bad boards?

I'm curious if you took the bumper off to get to the headlight housing? Is this what you did?
+Jake Murrell - Yes, the front bumper has to be removed on the challenger in order to remove the headlights.
Any instructions on how to pull the headlight apart? Like what temp to bake and how long??

Curious...is there a way to bypass the on/off remote module? Point being, I'd like the halos to come on with the parking lights/daytime runners, or possibly wired to acc so they come on when the car is on....all while retaining the remote functions. Having to use the remote on/off every time seems a nuisance. Any suggestions?

can i use the white color on these as actual headlights on the road at night? or is it not bright enough, i want my lights at night to look like the DRL. But stock DRL of course are not bright enough.

Our DRL (daytime running light) LED boards are not intended to illuminate the road for nighttime driving.
I know this is old but will this work with all Challenger's?
These should work with all 15-21 models!
I watched a video where a guy just plugged the RGBW controller into the factory harness and that was it.. my instructions tell me to plug the controller into a solid-state relay harness and then plug that into a battery input wire and plug that into my battery... do I have to do that last step? If so will it drain my battery over time? Thanks

Do these lights work when the car is off? Will they stay on until I turn them off? And when I turn the car back on can I still pick the color?
Hi Jose! These will power-down anytime you turn off whatever power supply you decide to utilize. When you turn the car back on, they will retain the color you had selected before turning them off. So is it possible to have multi levels of brightness? Like say you need to use your brights on the highway, and then someone is driving past and you need to put your dims back on, can this do that?
Anthony Ruiz, this controller will allow for you to control the level of brightness, in addition to color! This will be something that you will generally set before you are driving, as these accent lights are not going to blind oncoming traffic like your high beams would.
after installation, my left turning signal hyperblinks inside my car and notifies me that my LED turning signal is out. but on the outside everything works. What is the cause and how can I fix it?
Hey there! Our RGBW DRL LED boards do not use the turn signal circuit, so this could be happening if something on that circuit was modified during installation. Hello guys ! My friend is looking to buy a 2012 392 Dodge Challenger , he loves the look of the factory halos as shown here but unfortunately the 2012 model does come with the halos. Is there a kit you guys provide to retro fit anything like it ? Also he doesn't want that individual LED look just a solid white. Hopefully I get feedback thanks !

If i wanted to turn these LED's off and use my factory headlights, would i need to use the remote to do so?
+shayn - You can wire these so that the power is completely controlled by the remote, or you can wire them so that they will function just as your factory DRLs would. So you can set it up whichever way you prefer.

hello, I just installed these and i took all the proper precaution when doing so but my left front turn signal went out but the white halo still works fine. Do you have any idea why how I can troubleshoot this problem? Bad thing was I was so excited I installed it that I put everything back before I noticed the problem. Maybe I forgot to connect something in the housing or just wrong wiring ?

Are the colors legal
Hi there! We don't recommend running colors other than white on public roads. Fortunately, these boards are fully RGBW capable, so you can instantly return to a pure, bright white when it's time to hit the road!

Does the turn single halo turn on Amber automatically?
Hi there! Our Multicolor Boards don't combine a turn signal function. Your factory amber ring will still function for signaling.
So nothing plugs into the old connection? If you don't turn on the leds you don't have the running lights right? Have to manually use the remote each time?
ttrevino167, that is correct. Nothing will need to be done with the old connection, and you can easily use the RGBW remote to control angel eye function. Good questions!
