Installation time was 5 hours from start to finish and these guys are professionals.
Beware: This installation is not for beginners!
A couple things that were not caught on film:
Use compressed air to blow out any old glue that may fall into the headlight housing while scraping it off.
Applying the silicon was straight forward for the resealing process.
If you have any questions about the install I will try to my best to answer it although I'm not the best with this type of stuff, hence the reason I did not do the install myself.
I am not to blame if you do something wrong, I'd highly recommend having these installed by a professional but if you'd like to tackle this task on your own hopefully this will help you out a little.

I'd be so worried about condensation! It looks good though!

these lights look so good. especially color matched to your car
love the look. Just seems to be asking for condensation in the headlights however far down the road. I had a bad experience with a headlight mod before requiring disassembly and reassemble

Those are crazy lights. I wouldn't be using those on the highway though.. Might cause trouble for you. They would be fun to see sitting at a car show.
Having to do all that, I would've said to hell with it. The stock white DRL still look clean to me. But nice ride homey.

I’m going to an issue which is, the headlights won’t turn off at all, drains battery at the end. I looked at the connections and it looks like it got wet because of rain, how can this be fixed?
If those headlamps hold water or excessive mositure they will not be under warranty. But its a cool looking mod when done.
I agree it looks awesome, but personally i would never open those lights. Odds are they will eventually retain moisture. Plus I don't like taking the front end of my apart to get to them. Just me though.
Ya I hate taking the front facia's off to change a headlamp assembly. But its not that hard, just worry about scratching the customers car and fitment afterwards.

Why not replace the projector while you're in there? The visibility on the stock projector is so bad!
is it possible to have these wired to where they come on when the vehicle is turned on like the factory ones but also have them work when the car is off?

I noticed you wired the remote to the battery instead of the recommended DRL light wire. Did this affect anything? Like were you able to turn on the lights with the car off?

hey bro. im gonna be purchasing a new charger R/T in few months. is it possible to swap out the R/T front n rear bumpers for SRT bumpers. they should fit no problems right? and is modfx located in california?
no the r/t and srt have different fog lights. you would probably have to get new fog lights also

Are you able to turn them on even when the headlights are on?
Yep! The way these are wired I can turn them on/off whenever I want! So during normal driving they remain white just like factory.

I had Neopixel DRLstrips then it started giving me wire problems I was embarrassed on the road with my headlights, so I bought this (VLAND RGB LED HEADLIGHTS)for my 2019 rt charger in December 2021 I was kinda skeptical at first if what I saw on RUclips was real but it was real and it fits my charger perfectly, it’s like hooking up a stock headlight but it’s brighter than the stock one and u can change the color to whatever u want, it’s not as flashy as the flow series DRL kit but it’s safer in the future and I’m glad I didn’t go with the Flow Series DRL Kit or go back to the Neopixel DRLstrips that I had before because when time comes those flashy lights will give u headache like such as moisture, water getting in the wires, glitching, and headlight sealing problems. IM TELLING U THE (VLAND RGB LED HEADLIGHTS) IS THE BEST WAY TO GO.
My light kit should be here today.... fuck that looks too complicated was gonna do it in my garage tonight but fuck that lol just get it done professionally that way I know it's done right

It's a simple tool kit I bought at Walmart a few years ago and I've just filled it up with random tools over the years!
Ok, I liked the way it tied into the cargo hook. Love the videos and my new Scat Pack! What a car for the money. I appreciated your videos during the 7 weeks I had to wait for it to come in. They really helped me while waiting.

everyone saying that they wouldnt do this and that its complicated people all you have to do is buy the prebuilt ones and then take them to a shop to get them put in the car yes it cost more than doing it this way but its saving a hell of alot of stress 😭

Its not that bad😂i did it with lighting trendz myself and it was only stressful when taking the headlight cover off after i put it in the oven😬 besides that was simple
Good video, but man this is why you don't go to a stereo shop for lighting....your gonna regret that in a year or so if not sooner, silicone is the worse thing to seal a light with bud, could have been done much better
They're not just a stereo shop. They do just about everything aftermarket for these cars and have yet to have one of these setups come back with any issues.
give it time, if silicone was used in the channel is will gas out the internal of the lens and eat it away. It looks great though, not trying to start anything, just a bad place for lighting is all. 99% of the repairs we have to make are from audio shops or one stop shops, weather it's hid related, or halo related etc
The largest Mopar club in Houston (Space City LX) all use Modfx as their go-to shop for lighting mods. They've been doing this stuff for many years. I'm sure if the stuff they used to seal up the lights caused problems they would have figured it out by now. I suppose time will tell but I'm confident in them.
Chad Hawkins so where should we get them installed at ? I thought audio place or one stop were good since they do more wiring than a regular mechanic.
My SCAT didn't come with HIDs. Im planning to buy LEDs, what are the correct bulb size to shop for? I've seen HIR2, 9012, 9006, 9005.
Looks like 9012 but I'm not 100% sure.
hid is much more brighter... my 300 came with the LEDs, trust me hids are way more brighter. get 8k

What made you go with the Diode Dynamic setup? Is it better than the Oracle Halo Kit?
I was told by several people the DD kit has far less problems and the white on the Oracle kit isn't a pure white.

It was a different price for me since I did the video guide stuff. Each car is different it just depends on what exactly you need done! Contact Jose and tell him you saw this video and see what price and can do for you!
