Why can't they design these missions the same way Headhunter does it? If you start the mission in Los Santos, then the targets spawn in Los Santos. If you start it in Blaine County, then the targets spawn in Blaine Country. It's not that hard Rockstar!
The missions are built like they are for new players but require a vehicle so expensive that they might as well buy an arcade to make better money. These missions need a money buff to offset the cost of the vehicles needed to start them, make them better overall, AND add the ability to join others in their dispatch.

The only good thing is when you are just sitting in the cop car, don't select to do a mission and you won't be kicked for being idle. I sat for 5 hours and did not get kicked. Easier than going to the horse track in the casino.
It wouldve been cool if while driving on the highway Vincent calls you saying to intercept and help fellow police officers in a high speed chase that way we’d actually utilize the cop cars

its not even realistic we shoulda got REAL missions like pulling someone over arresting them etc instead were defusing bombs and killing drug dealers across the map EVERY mission oh yeah and for the rewards we should get police outfits and vincent should not be the dispatch radio it should be the woman from Story mode and the police mod
For storyline mission the police department as usual with gta universe is corrupt and they have our rap sheet. They know we are drug lords and committed lot crimes despite the one only time we saved the world from being nuked. (Doesn't help that timeline is in shambles with bunch of people confused about o neil's farmhouse still standing.) Anyways my point is we are never going to be cops unless rockstar makes it a storyline in winter update that gives us a reason to become cops by taking out chief and replacing them with ether vincent or someone more competent and reasonable along with actually liking us oppose to wanting us to be dead.

"WE BE TAKING GUMMY MELATONINS WITH THIS ONE 🗣🗣🗣🗣" -Some random guy I found in the comments section Jokes aside if you want your soul sapping from your body, go do one dispatch work, thats it 🤣
The worst thing about the update is that you expect headhunter/cop update is introducing new non-lethal gameplay, weapons and tools. Instead you are able to outright murder any enemy in your way, including security and bodyguards who are simply doing their job. That's basically the same thing people did since the very first contact missions dropped.
You know what's crazy? There is a mission that, I think Ms.Baker gives you, where you steal a police car and start chasing an npc car. You have to ram your car against theirs until the intimidating bar is full, once full the car crashes on it's own and blows up. That one mission alone is way more of a cop mission, than all the missions in the cop DLC, it's actually a joke.
The biggest disappointment for me was that you can't trigger car chases with the cop cars. That was my fave thing to do in the PS2 era of GTA in the Vigilante missions.
The fact i can't start this with a crew says it all, while we are doing those missions we have some half-immunity to crimes we only get stars if we attack police officers. I believe those missions COULD work akin to business battle in some sense. I can ignore the non-CEO/MC requirements with some extent, but those missions could had been improved in many ways. - IF players are inside the cop cars, dispatch missions should appear on the map if someone is doing them. - IF a player activate a mission on their car, every other player inside of it should be able to do it too (like CEO/MC). - IF X player goes to help another player in these missions, this should give reward to them in the end and a bonus to the player which activated the mission. (Complement to the above). - Those missions should give at least 35-40K since their starting requirement are on par to a upgraded in-game business. (3.3~4.3K on a fully upgraded, trade-price cop car is insane). I was the only one of my friends playing lately so i don't know if a outsider player can kill our targets in those missions, we can call 911 and have the police to show up to help ... and the same applies if we call the mercs. No incentive to doing them, people would go insane if the Police Buffalo, Police Interceptor, Police Bike, FIB Buffalo, Transporter or even the police outfit were attached to them, they would even ignore the 25k pay, but ... oh well. Those missions HAD/HAVE the potential to be something fun to engage even with multiple players, but R* did the opposite. Like the overall update ... the butchering of the OG CNC content maybe indeed affected it. Poor Recycling at it's finest aka classic C* Games.
Here’s an idea, update older vehicles to be able to do dispatch work and have the missions be tailored to the vehicle, for example: The RCV: Have the missions be about going to a riot/protest and dispersing the crowd, you lose money if you kill people. The prison bus: you are called to a police station to transport prisoners to bollingburke, you have 10 prisoners and each one is worth 10k, enemies are called to attack the prisoners (maybe they’re getting a lighter sentence if they snitch and these enemies are trying to silence them?) and you lose 10k for each prisoner killed, you fail the mission if all prisoners are killed. Gauntlet interceptor (or any of the fast police cars): you are called to pull over a speeding super car, you gain more money the quicker you complete it Police riot: you are called to transport a swat team to stop a bank robbery at pacific standard or the vangelico jewellery store, you lose money for each hostage killed. Unmarked cruiser: you are called to do some FIB work like infiltrating/watching a deal go down and intercept when ordered, or getting called to the FIB headquarters to… “interrogate” a suspect Impaler SZ: this vehicle strongly resembles the police car used in midnight club LA so in reference to that, the car will be used to shut down street racers. These were all just ideas I thought of in 5 minutes, if anyone has any other ideas feel free to comment but my point is that dispatch work could’ve been unique to each vehicle and give incentives and more uses to older vehicles.
I hate them. I did one mission and I quickly realized everything that was said here. I like Ghille have more than enough money to get every cop car but other than to add to my collection, there’s no reason to even get them, it’s just rockstar saying hello kids, we released some cop cars for your role play games but we put a big price tag on them so go get mommy’s credit card so you won’t miss out because your other friends got them.
The crazy expensive economy in GTA has also made the game easy for groomers to abuse kids. I cannot tell you how many children have contacted me, desperately begging for help with making IGC.
Remember that in older GTA's, you could only do these missions on the island that you initiated them, and 100% ing the game required to do 20 on each island, something completely different from GTA Online's logic
Rockstar forgot most police operate in a single area, meaning there would be a police force to handle the city and another the handle outside the city. A city cop doesn’t travel 100 miles to another county to arrest someone.
For doing like 100 of these missions we could unlock a police vigero zx which costs like 10m for those who just wanna buy it. The police outfits should have been available for everyone to buy.
They have you hooked on that monthly subscription man they don’t care as long as the gta plus people stay. They can let us down and nerf helpful thing and put timers on everything and nothing will make people unsub .. it’s sad
They should make the Dispatch work REGION based, Say if you are in Los Santos, The Missions you get will be involved in the city. If you are in Blaine County, the Dispatch work will only be in Blaine county/Paleto bay. Or they could have made it so players could choose between two tiers of dispatch: Low priority dispatch, and high priority: - Low Priority missions would always involve the City of Los Santos, which could keep the same payout they currently have. -High Priority dispatch will involve missions taking place in Blaine County and/or Paleto Bay. they would be harder missions but with greatly increased payout rewards for completing it, rewarding the extra effort and mileage you spend on the missions. but to compensate they would need a longer cool-down before being tried again.
I've just completed the "award" for these missions. They could've given us a police heli/bike for an award but nope... Or even the outfit we've been wanting for ages! Now I've done it, I'll probably never do any of these missions again cause let's face it, it's a waste. Esp when we get locations so far away. These could've been so much better if they'd spent just a tiny bit more time/effort on them. Such a shame.
It’s basically pay phone hits but no bonuses and bs locations. Was really expecting to at least do arrests, drug busts. This and the Bombushka buff is basically a joke that’s not even remotely close to being funny (even my keyboard knew the 7 words I needed to type)
The dispatch missions would be good if the missions were closer to your location and you could call Vincent to request a mission after buying a bail office and if they buffed the payouts to i'd say 85K with a 10 minute cooldown. I just think that would be way more balanced and make the missions a lot more fun to play and a lot more rewarding. Another thing that would be good is unlocking extra perks after doing a certain amount of dispatch missions like calling the cops off for free, unlocking big discounts for the cop cars and so on.
Being quite honest, I don't mind the new vigilante missions, I actually like them. The most time you'll spend from the start of one mission to the start of another mission could take between 7 minutes to 13 minutes including cooldown (assuming you used the undercover cruiser), for a strict $25,000 everytime, whereas doing sightseer or headhunter anymore has you driving around town pays you an unstable amount between $18,000 - $25,000 dollars, every 15 to 20 minutes due to new cooldowns. Vigilante missions in GTA Online feels like the superior VIP work in terms of payout/minute, but I definitely can't wait to see Rockstar release more potential for Vigilante missions (such as ramming suspects off the road, maybe making a new "CEO" for police units where we can work together to create roadblocks, rolling blocks to stop vehicles, etc). They tried something new for players, and I'd give them a break and wait until at least the winter DLC later this year if they would improve on it, because it has potential quite frankly, and this is just the start.
Btw, you can't even start them from your Pegaus SWAT armored van, you do need an overpriced personal police vehicle, so my 4 million spent on the SWAT van went to hell.😊
When I did my first dispatch mission and saw that I had to go to Paleto Bay for it, I just laughed. It's like Rockstar knows people hate going to Paleto Bay and purposely put missions up there so things can be drawn out. For lore reasons I get why the missions are the way they are but like, Vincent, my man, my guy, my bro, there's no other issues happening in LS that you need help with???
I bought two vehicles that cost a million dollars, I told them what garage to put them in, they took my money and I NEVER received the vehicle I bought and paid for, I basically got robbed by Rockstar, they're a bunch of LAZY and GREEDY pigs, copying and pasting everything.
i think they shouldve done it like GTA4, you access the police car computer it shows you the criminals location blah blah then drive to them (obviously somewhat close to you) take em down with variation like you have vehicle pursuits, raiding a house, etc and then get paid
They aren't even police-themed missions like responding to a speeding car, riot, bank robbery, prison escape, gang shootout, etc. Just more boring, generic kill/fetch quests that feel like every other activity in GTA Online.
I don't like the cooldowns with this update. Why does the tow truck need a cooldown when you might get about 40k and have to drive 3 in game miles there and back? Why 5 minutes for that and in between dispatch missions when I'm making 25k a pop? Why only one high value bounty a day and a rotating list every 45 minutes?
Yeah Its Kinda Ridiculous How You Basically Need a $5M Police Vehicle To Do Police Work That Basically Sends You Up To Paleto Bay 90% Of The Time Which Is Why Im Not Doing Them Especially Since I Can’t Get The Sell Value Back Since The Sell Price Is $0 Of Police Cars And Seriously 25K I Would Be a Bit More Satisfied If It Paid Like 100K And Had a 20 Minute Cooldown And I Mean These DLCs Are Now Testing Grounds For GTA 6 What a Fail This DLC Has Been Except For Some Things
Man, I spent like $50 million on those police cars. I’ve been waiting for police cars for years. Honestly I’m disappointed with the missions as well because you don’t actually get to go to the police station which is kind of stupid.
I wish you could use police cars in bounty missions because some of them have caged backseat and you can transfer people there. Burrito is okay but it's so boring to travese from accros a map on it. Also to have some unique interactions, like gauntlet has deployable spikes from single player: you need to put them from trunk manually or dropping on the move. Dorado could have k9 dog that will disarm the bounty and kill other enemies. Stanier could have had non-lethal weapons with rubber bullets that would stun enemies like taser. It could've made some the bounty hunting business more interesting at least. Also, cop outfit should have been a free addition with that prices.
For being a such a small far and away part of the map, Paleto bay is involved in pretty much every new gta online activity these days. Could they make it even more obvious or should i say AGL obnoxious.
Game will always make you waste your time by forcing you to go to the opposite extreme of the map, if you are on Paleto they will just tell you to go to Elysium fields 😂, just for them to pay you 25k, worth it
I’ll be honest mate, what are you expecting at this point? Like every update over the last year or so has been extremely disappointing in one way or another. It gets to the point where you don’t even get somewhat excited for updates because you know they’re gonna be cheeks (my experience)
Rockstar logic: you pay 5 million dollars, we give you 25,000 dollars
After 200 missions, you should be able to repay this vehicle 😂
Terrible Purchase 😢😢😢😢

They are completely out of ideas, which makes me really concerned for GTA6 too. What are they going to come up with that isn't just a rehash of GTA5 content?
Los Angeles, a city renowned for its crime, has the majority of its police dispatch missions take place outside of the city grounds. It honestly amazes me how distanced Rockstar is from the desires of their community
Not even one mission on grove street 😅
Having to forfeit a CEO slot in order to even do them is the worst part about these that'll make them non viable for implementing into any sort of grind loop.
The npc cop cars are way faster than the newer ones 😂
All I wanted from this dlc are old police vehicles that came since 2013 and then we got these old new police cars

If they wanted us to "drive" to the other side of the map, they should have given us a police heli for free.

- adding cooldowns not only to new activities but also old ones (they added a cooldown to tow truck missions 6 months after it was added to the game)
- removing harmless clothing glitches like adding masks to helmets
- making each car you sell in a day worth less up to only 5% of the usual sell cost on 4th car you sell in the same day
- this video
and thats only a fraction of what they were recently doing
This game was the biggest cash cow. After 2018 I was already worried for the integrity of gta6, GTA+ and all the other BS they've been testing since - they want gta6 to outperform GTA5 in regards of profit margins - and it will 100000% be at the detriment of the game's integrity.

These missions need a money buff to offset the cost of the vehicles needed to start them, make them better overall, AND add the ability to join others in their dispatch.
if other players could join in by just being in the car, it would solve the problem
The only thing i wanted was to be cops with at least 1 friend. Not having the option was so stupid
R*:I hear you loud and clear Ghillie.
Patch note "Players can no longer call in other personalized vehicle during Vincent dispatch mission, and cannot receive rewards if your police vehicle isn't in your target vicinity or the goal point of the mission".
It's like, how hard was it for them to give us the old vigilante mission? I was so hyped before it came out but now, I even don't play it anymore.
Also, it's annoying that Vincent calls in every time you get into a cop car. I'm just trying to cruse around bro...
yeah. the old style emergency vehicle jobs are far superior to this crap. i also like your spin on the idea of doing 5 of them and then getting a special target to take down as like the kingpin or something. kinda reminds me of the crackdown game. ah. glorious. rockstar always on full display as the epitome of "mountains of untapped potential" lol.
The only good thing is when you are just sitting in the cop car, don't select to do a mission and you won't be kicked for being idle. I sat for 5 hours and did not get kicked. Easier than going to the horse track in the casino.
Rockstar never fails to disappoint the community
We need a rant Playlist😂😂
I always love hearing these rants because it is funny but sooo real.
It wouldve been cool if while driving on the highway Vincent calls you saying to intercept and help fellow police officers in a high speed chase that way we’d actually utilize the cop cars
Cockstar is too re turded to that
My big hope for this DLC was to sit in my cool cop-car, in a cop outfit and browsing the police computer for criminal scumbags. Then blast on to the crimescene with full emergency light and sound and serve justice. Just like I did in IV. But sadly R* fucked it up.
Love the vid You hit on all of the major focal points here:
-pay sucks. And you mention doing 125 jobs just to break even for one car, how about all 6 and the police brickade?
-no reward for these missions. Not even for the snobby GTA plus crowd
-The Franklin payphone missions have challenges, why don't these?
-The Niko Belick mission were better than these
And I'll add one, a 2 car garage for 8 police vehicles.
its not even realistic we shoulda got REAL missions like pulling someone over arresting them etc instead were defusing bombs and killing drug dealers across the map EVERY mission oh yeah and for the rewards we should get police outfits and vincent should not be the dispatch radio it should be the woman from Story mode and the police mod
For storyline mission the police department as usual with gta universe is corrupt and they have our rap sheet. They know we are drug lords and committed lot crimes despite the one only time we saved the world from being nuked.
(Doesn't help that timeline is in shambles with bunch of people confused about o neil's farmhouse still standing.)
Anyways my point is we are never going to be cops unless rockstar makes it a storyline in winter update that gives us a reason to become cops by taking out chief and replacing them with ether vincent or someone more competent and reasonable along with actually liking us oppose to wanting us to be dead.
No, it makes sense for it to be Vincent as you’re not an official cop, you’re working of the records.

Honestly, this is something that we should’ve been able to do since GTA Online launched.
Rockstar's new mission design these past few years sole purpose is to waste your time. Absolutely zero exceptions to this rule
I feel as though the payouts lately do not indicate true changes and are reverting back to 2013 payouts but making it harder to grind for new and way more expensive vehicles. This game lacks so much from the previous years without gta+
I agree with the title. Bet on these dispatch work to put you to sleep fast 🤦🏻♀️.

"WE BE TAKING GUMMY MELATONINS WITH THIS ONE 🗣🗣🗣🗣"
-Some random guy I found in the comments section
Jokes aside if you want your soul sapping from your body, go do one dispatch work, thats it 🤣
The worst thing about the update is that you expect headhunter/cop update is introducing new non-lethal gameplay, weapons and tools. Instead you are able to outright murder any enemy in your way, including security and bodyguards who are simply doing their job. That's basically the same thing people did since the very first contact missions dropped.
First thing they did after the missions released was increase the cooldown of the stun gun 😂
Rockstar is more like strict parents that force you to stay inside and study rather than have fun....
Rockstar actually fumbled this DLC so badly that it makes the Summer Special look good
I would play those missions day and night if I you would get the Standard police vehicle as a reward
I thought we were going to have proper police missions, but no they are just super generic and overall recycled content from previous missions
Here’s an idea, update older vehicles to be able to do dispatch work and have the missions be tailored to the vehicle, for example:
The RCV: Have the missions be about going to a riot/protest and dispersing the crowd, you lose money if you kill people.
Gauntlet interceptor (or any of the fast police cars): you are called to pull over a speeding super car, you gain more money the quicker you complete it
Police riot: you are called to transport a swat team to stop a bank robbery at pacific standard or the vangelico jewellery store, you lose money for each hostage killed.
Unmarked cruiser: you are called to do some FIB work like infiltrating/watching a deal go down and intercept when ordered, or getting called to the FIB headquarters to… “interrogate” a suspect
Impaler SZ: this vehicle strongly resembles the police car used in midnight club LA so in reference to that, the car will be used to shut down street racers.
These were all just ideas I thought of in 5 minutes, if anyone has any other ideas feel free to comment but my point is that dispatch work could’ve been unique to each vehicle and give incentives and more uses to older vehicles.
They keep sending me to paleto bay man and haven’t even gotten the one to defuse the bombs lol.
The fact that they still don't seem to get that players don't wanna drive halfway across the map is the worst part of this.
My expectations were low but I’m still disappointed.
Same
This new update should be called “Visit Paleto Bay.”
My main issue is WHY do we have to buy a car? Why can’t we just access the Dispatch missions by just stealing one?
6:26 One thing they made sure was the case in all other GTA's, but just apparently forgot to make sure of for GTA Online
For doing like 100 of these missions we could unlock a police vigero zx which costs like 10m for those who just wanna buy it. The police outfits should have been available for everyone to buy.
the cop outfit reward is so genius
Why is a different police department helping a department outside of the county anyway?
So true lol. Just like how the L.S. County sheriffs operate in Paleto Bay even though it’s a different county. :/
Almost as bad as a cop from Detroit going to assist solving the crime in Beverly Hills and taking down a drug lord.... oh wait that was a film ;)
Or they could have made it so players could choose between two tiers of dispatch: Low priority dispatch, and high priority:
- Low Priority missions would always involve the City of Los Santos, which could keep the same payout they currently have.
Sorry to be off topic, but who else is experiencing a bug where the game literally doesn’t let you enter your own personal vehicle?
I’ve been hearing that from a lot of people, but never experienced it myself
Rockstar: Whoa guy, calm tf down. You're going a little overboard. Just be grateful we gave you the stuff for free before we start charging you extra.
Rockstar doesn't want you to have fun. Rockstar wants you to go to Paleto Bay.
It’s basically pay phone hits but no bonuses and bs locations. Was really expecting to at least do arrests, drug busts. This and the Bombushka buff is basically a joke that’s not even remotely close to being funny (even my keyboard knew the 7 words I needed to type)
its crazy just imagine for the player who do not own any fast cars or oppressor or chopper they make people go to the other side of the map is insane
The most time you'll spend from the start of one mission to the start of another mission could take between 7 minutes to 13 minutes including cooldown (assuming you used the undercover cruiser), for a strict $25,000 everytime,
whereas doing sightseer or headhunter anymore has you driving around town pays you an unstable amount between $18,000 - $25,000 dollars, every 15 to 20 minutes due to new cooldowns.
They should add premium dispatch missions that pay 100 grand, which have you stop an ongoing Diamond Casino Hiest or Pacific Standard Job
Not a surprise tbh
I don't know why they didn't just bring back the old school vigilante missions without any changes
Pretty sad how we’re always ranting about the game cus rockstar can’t do shit correctly
I think R* is just experimenting with the player base to see what we will put up with before we close our wallets, and start ranting.
i think they shouldve done it like GTA4, you access the police car computer it shows you the criminals location blah blah then drive to them (obviously somewhat close to you) take em down with variation like you have vehicle pursuits, raiding a house, etc and then get paid
The fact that THE TAXI MISSIONS ATE BACK TO BACK???? LIKE WHY NOT JUST DO THE SAME FKING THING
You feel more of a cop by doing one of the Franklin's assasinations missions where you have to chase a guy to kill him.
50 jobs - LSPD outfit
100 - LSSD outfit
500 - LSPD cruiser
1000 - LSSD cruiser
2500 - FIB outfit + FIB Buffalo
5000 - NOOSE outfit + NOOSE Rancher
They aren't even police-themed missions like responding to a speeding car, riot, bank robbery, prison escape, gang shootout, etc. Just more boring, generic kill/fetch quests that feel like every other activity in GTA Online.
Rockstar always finding ways to give players the exact opposite of what they want....
Very dissappointed that we don't chase people down in moving cars like in the old games 😥
You literally should be able to steal a police car off the street and do dispatch work.
Literally there should not be a cooldown. It should be just like taxi work. Rockstar is gay.

Wow, the DLC wasn’t lying, this really is BOTTOM DOLLAR
I wish you could use police cars in bounty missions because some of them have caged backseat and you can transfer people there. Burrito is okay but it's so boring to travese from accros a map on it.
Also to have some unique interactions, like gauntlet has deployable spikes from single player: you need to put them from trunk manually or dropping on the move. Dorado could have k9 dog that will disarm the bounty and kill other enemies. Stanier could have had non-lethal weapons with rubber bullets that would stun enemies like taser. It could've made some the bounty hunting business more interesting at least.
Also, cop outfit should have been a free addition with that prices.
id those missions were at least close to ur location, but not even that
It amazes me that ppl still have faith in this company
For being a such a small far and away part of the map, Paleto bay is involved in pretty much every new gta online activity these days. Could they make it even more obvious or should i say AGL obnoxious.
The parts I dislike is the wait to decline a dispatch work, not being able to turn on/off sirens, no car chases, no ability to request back up.
The fact that police have jurisdiction so that would be a literal reason why it shouldn’t be a reason to go to the top of the map
I hate how rockstar was so lazy with the new cop cars
Game will always make you waste your time by forcing you to go to the opposite extreme of the map, if you are on Paleto they will just tell you to go to Elysium fields 😂, just for them to pay you 25k, worth it
I’ll be honest mate, what are you expecting at this point? Like every update over the last year or so has been extremely disappointing in one way or another. It gets to the point where you don’t even get somewhat excited for updates because you know they’re gonna be cheeks (my experience)
Lukewarm take: You should be able to respond to Vincent's missions from the RCV.
Give the poor thing a use XD
They've messed this DLC right up. Could have been excellent with some effort. It's also grind with no fun and disjoined missions etc.
