I am going in a few days, it will be my forth visit to the zoo. We are doing the Penguin Encounter, I loved when they had the dinosaur display. Still a good value for the money.

I lived in Florida for a little over a year and I saw probably a dozen bald eagles in that time. You just have to know where to look. :)

in 2019 they made a new, upgraded animal medical care center and manatee rehabilitation center so they are putting some of that money into animal care things but i agree that a good few of the enclosures feel dated. definitely a zoo priced for tampa locals considering busch gardens is right there for tourists but i can see where theyre coming from on that front kind of
