The King of Fighters: Another Day is an animated series based on the popular fighting game series The King of Fighters. It was produced by Production I.G, and revolves around the plot of the 3-D version titled The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact, along with some touches of the current 2-D series storyline about Ash Crimson (e.g. Iori Yagami appearing powerless).
The anime was released in the brand-new ONA format, with four episodes of six minutes each. It was released on DVD as a pack-in with the Japanese release of KOF: Maximum Impact 2. The DVD is region two-encoded, but has English subtitles, as well as an English dub track.

SNK we need a new King of fighters anime!!! It still is one of my favorite king of fighters anime that SNK created!!! Imagine if this aired on [adult swim] that would be perfect!!!

Such a lost opportunity for this franchise when they cancelled this show.
They didnt cancel it it was only meant to be a 2 ep ova to coincide with one of the games releasing i forgot which kof game, I thin kit was 11.

@@kaisarr7632 This was set in the Maximum Impact universe, which would be Regulation A since Ash wasn't in the first two Maximum Impact games although it did set the tone on Ash Saga.

I just did a search King of Fighters anime, which lead to this video. I knew from the trailer for KoFXV that they had made a animated short for the game’s bonus content; so, I figured why not see if they had done an actual series or any OVAs. I occasionally played the games in the arcades back in the 90s, plus friends’ homes. I am by no means a expert about these games, nor at playing. I agree with many that the voice acting is to wooden, but the animation and story are solid. Thanks for posting this one. I look forward to finding more KoF stuff in the future.

The English dub of this OVA is honestly the worst dub I've ever heard, with some of the weirdest dialogue changes from the original.
I got to agree. Its undeniable that SNK characters are cool, but man are the dialogues AND dubs really making me bite my lips in embarrassment

The voice acting when yelling felt a bit off for most of the character, except for billy. But other than that it was great

@@shaideyfresh1 uhh... This vid is all 4 episodes combined into 1... You'll definitely know it's a new episode when the screen shows "SNK Presents" or something, and then a whole different set of characters show up

the 80s have more organic feel to it
It depends on the method used during their creation. The past anime of the 80s was done using 2D hand drawn painted cel animation.
Nowadays most if not all anime is done digitally with computers which can vary depending on the software being utilized during production.
He downloaded with bad quality and uploaded with an Editing which made it more worse
